What is with all these Zhang fanboys? Zhang is legit always complaining and she's often wrong. Zhang thought the shot was out at 7:03 but she didn't stop, she continued playing. So why is she again complaining like always? Then the next point, the umpire is wrong. It's definitely touching the line for me but the umpire checked, said it was out and never came back to check again that's the umpires fault but also the way Zhang complains is very annoying and so I'm sure there's some bias there for the umpire not checking more because the way you act matters. And then Zhang plays the victim again because Toth removes a mark on a point that was over already. They played a whole new point and so Toth takes away the mark like every clay player does. Nadal and Djoko always remove the marks when the point is over because that's what you're supposed to do because you don't want the same spot to be hit and the umpire not being able to know which mark is which. But Toth got so much hate all because Zhang is a professional victim.
After the ball was ruled, you can, but you usually erase marks touching the lines, so they don't get confused in the future. That's why Zangh claims Toth knew the ball was in (indeed it was.. no doubt about it).
I agree with her removingthe mark. Although Zhang was right, you can't just argue about it for 20 minutes, when nothing is going to change. Remove the mark - continue playing. Looks rude, but it's the smartest thing to do to continue playing.
Toth x Zhang was gossip for a whole week and people acting like the girl killed someone a 20yo doing stupid stuff tell me a new news. Always mature and balanced internet behavior. Just chill out man...
Why do we even have supervisors if they never have the guts to overturn a terrible umpire call? There are so many bad calls and there's nothing you can do as a player.
Wow! I can just shake my head how Zhang was treated here. I am not a "refs are always bad" guy but I wouldnt have played a single point anymore after that decision. I want to support Zhang now and Toth is a disgrace.
She was dealing with some mental health issues at the time. I think the loss of a close family member, if I remember correctly. She pretty much had an anxiety attack at that point in the match. I’m sure she’ll be ok.
What she said though is absolutely correct. That call was so egregious, how could she trust the umpire again? She'd be questioning every call from that point onward.
Honestly, if Toth hadnt behaved like that everybody would be against Zhang.. it's very similar to Hingis vs Graf at Roland Garros and everyone hated Hingis back then even though the ball was clearly in
The umpire in the Zhang match was extremly awful. The opponent was also ridiculous..how the f was tha ball put. We could all seeing was in. I remember when this happened earlier this year.
Kasatkina got screwed in the match. She had multiple match points Paolini whacked one a mile high in the sky it was going out of bounds, in fact it was over the chair's head heading dead left and some idiot ball boy ran onto the court before it hit out of bounds and they called a let. She ended up losing the game and then the match.
@@Funkytrip73The most plausible explanation it's that it was out and it's just the camera which makes it appear in. Those of you who are calling for penalties for the umpires, would you want to bet on a $5,000 fine if your comments on youtube were proved wrong?

Toth didn't even win her first main draw SET, and she picked up 70 spots in the rankings. If I were her coach, there would be a 20-minute lecture on respecting your opponent. Hopefully we never hear from her again.
I feel for Zhang on that crosscourt forehand, to me it looks clearly in, there is no gap between the mark and the line. I can understand her frustration, however as a professional she really should have just moved on and continued. It would have been nice if her opponent had the sportsmanship to concede it was in and replay the point, I've seen players like Federer and Nadal do that many times.
I get Zhang was upset with the call.. But the next point was played as well.. Whether Toth rubs off the mark or not doesn't matter at all.. Not like they will replay from that point again once she crosses the court and sees its in..
That Zhang episode must be biggest robbery in tennis history. Umpire did that clearly by purpose assuming she is not completely blind. Feel so sad for how the Chinese felt there. Should life ban umpire and big penalization for that no-brain opponent who celebrates

I'm surprised how much support Zhang is getting here in the comments. Yes, it was a bad call, but these happen all the time. She needed to get over it, rise above, and defeat her opponent.
Toth deserve a slap in the face , cheating while smirking 🤮
there was no cheating from Toth, npc.
Is it normal for players to scuff away marks like Toth did vs Zhang?
After the ball was ruled, you can, but you usually erase marks touching the lines, so they don't get confused in the future. That's why Zangh claims Toth knew the ball was in (indeed it was.. no doubt about it).
No one ever does it unless you're conceding the point.
@@seangates900Everybody does after the point is settled. Nadal, for example, erases every disputed mark once the umpire has settled the question.
I agree with her removingthe mark.
Although Zhang was right, you can't just argue about it for 20 minutes, when nothing is going to change. Remove the mark - continue playing. Looks rude, but it's the smartest thing to do to continue playing.
@@Nik_the_Fand this is the dumbest respon ,you dont understand how hurt it can be for player ,the frustation will change your game ,
Toth x Zhang was gossip for a whole week and people acting like the girl killed someone a 20yo doing stupid stuff tell me a new news. Always mature and balanced internet behavior. Just chill out man...
The Toth situation was horrendous though, especially considering Toth's celebration
Yeh I would have walked instantly.
Anyone else google La Chatte thinking doesn't that just mean "cat" and then were like oooooooh all makes sense?
LA CHAAAAATTE 😂 Is this Paire's distant cousin or something?
Ah yes! Tennis drama, I love it! Give it to me!
I'm mad for Zhang, the situation is surreal it's so bad
What about Lara Morgana? she apologized?
First of most, whoa! on pounding the racquet on that clay court. Second, clay court has less friction than hard court surfaces.
zhang urgently needs a few sessions with a psychologist
defaulting just for one point against her
She was dealing with some mental health issues at the time.
14:41 is the cringiest "celebration" I've ever seen.
I think WTA and ATP should penalize referees for that huge mistakes.
I agree with you 100%. And the punishment should be immediate firing of those umpires.
@@einarsd4As long as you get fired whenever you make a mistake (when you are old enough to work).
@@einarsd4 At least ban her from high level tourneys for a certain amount of time. Going over to the location and still calling it out was nefarious.
@@Funkytrip73 I agree with you.
@@Funkytrip73The most plausible explanation it's that it was out and it's just the camera which makes it appear in. I love to see how sure of themselves are people who haven't been less than 5,000 miles close to that ball that it is the umpire who put her finger on the mark the one who has made a mistake.
Those of you who are calling for penalties for the umpires, would you want to bet on a $5,000 fine if your comments on youtube were proved wrong?
Wow, I'll remember the name Toth forever now. Such a shameless act on court, not an ounce of respect to the game or it's players..
Blanchet said 'LUCKY YY ONLY LUCKY " in french and he took a verbal abuse lmao
and then he said something equivalent to : idiot/dummie. and he didnt receive any warning 😀
0:30 she forsure said out but very quietly.
Toth celebrating a robbery like winning the olympics 😂
8:27 that umpire is dishonest and corrupt.
A Putintseva clip and SHE isnt the one raging???? 😅
miracles DO happen sometimes...
I love your videos mate... Keep going 💪
🙏💚
Name of Umpire in Zhang vs Toth? Thanks! Is so bad
Refs be like it doesn't matter who called what. I'm the KING/QUEEN. I OWN IT ALL. I HAVE ALL RIGHTS.
i dont know who In-Albon is, but the ball was clearly on the line. She was right there to see it and still argued with the umpire about the correction.
Lara thinks people come to watch her - she's argumentative and full of herself - one of the worst officials like that one lady that is always confused.
fine umpires who make crap calls. See how long till things like the Zhang incident vanish from the sport altogether.
The umpire from the Toth match needs to be fired.
Fans will remember the incident with Toth forever. If she ever makes it higher up the ranks, players and fans will never like her
Toth didn't even win her first main draw SET, and she picked up 70 spots in the rankings. If I were her coach, there would be a 20-minute lecture on respecting your opponent. Hopefully we never hear from her again.
Wow in the 2nd clip that line judge definitely said out wtf
I feel for Zhang on that crosscourt forehand, to me it looks clearly in, there is no gap between the mark and the line. I can understand her frustration, however as a professional she really should have just moved on and continued. It would have been nice if her opponent had the sportsmanship to concede it was in and replay the point, I've seen players like Federer and Nadal do that many times.
I get Zhang was upset with the call.. But the next point was played as well.. Whether Toth rubs off the mark or not doesn't matter at all.. Not like they will replay from that point again once she crosses the court and sees its in..
So many cry babies within French players😅
That ball Zhang hit, definately hit the line. How can the umpire say its out. Unsportsmanlike to erase the mark also by Toth.
Is Toth happy?
That Zhang episode must be biggest robbery in tennis history. Umpire did that clearly by purpose assuming she is not completely blind. Feel so sad for how the Chinese felt there. Should life ban umpire and big penalization for that no-brain opponent who celebrates
i mean how can you continue when you're just given the middle finger publicly by your opponent and the ref does nothing?
Sorry, but why did you remove your new video about Dramas in Wimbledon? Copyrights issues?
Toth..whoever player she is and the Owmpaire should be removed from the tour.
It seems like when the line umpires get questioned, it looks like they are about to crap their pants, lol. Just answer yes i made a noise, or no, i didn't. Not that serious
what was ln-albon trying to get at? she didn’t go for the ball and let it move right past her 😭
Thats criminal cheating on Zhang!! Thats pervert! Zhang has absolute right
Blanchet a mangé trop de chaaaaatttttteeeeee 😆😆😆
3:46 And...He almost have the same voice of Benoit Paire.😝
Pourquoi tu écris en anglais engeance d'huître trop salée ? T'es gênant va dormir
I'm surprised how much support Zhang is getting here in the comments. Yes, it was a bad call, but these happen all the time. She needed to get over it, rise above, and defeat her opponent. Pretty sure she's the more skilled player anyway. But the crowd was reacting to Zhang holding up the match, and honestly it went on so long, it got annoying. At some point they have to realize they will not get the resolution they want, and they need to keep playing.
Ball was Out understand her lol
In-Albon looks a lot like the Belgian player Nancy Feber
Toth celebrate that fail win omfg
la chatte is not a bad word lol this umpire needs to be suspended. it just means "so effing lucky" basically. I bet he would not give a warning to somebody from his country who constantly swears on court.
Im with Zhang on this one, it was clearly in, the mark was clearly in.... then they destroy the evidence. I would have walked.
As a french...Blanchet deserved what he took in his face. Takes one to know one mister "Toquard"
9:30 who brings their dogs to the Tennis?
Toth borrando la marca, por favor, que persona nefasta. Siempre que sale Zhang en los videos tiene razón.
Maybe it's just me, but I would have thought the line judge could trot over to the umpire (ua-cam.com/video/sMbJRTQUNa8/v-deo.html) instead of stroll. Come on people, this is a sport!
The whole vid about zhang 😮
And wtf?? Zhang gets the point in the next clip, so obviously she's just taking her time.unbelievable that the ump allows it...and who were the commentator? What a silly dude.

Blanchet recieving a code for "la chatte" lol it's not even a bad word !
@@jesuslovesmebut8180 It means pussy only if you want it to ! It first means female cat and it's used as an expression to say that you lack of luck (I.e Paire at Roland-Garros against Nishikori where he did not recieve any warning)
@@jason_35 Thanks for your comment. My French is not good so I had to look it up, I've seen native speakers say it can mean the same as "la chance," is that correct?
@@robertl426 It does indeed. If we look purely on sense, it first means "female cat", then it means luck but in a familiar way, and we also use it to designate a female sex also in a very familiar way. Therefore in context, the warning gave by the chair empire is a nonsense. What is important when you're hearing or using this word is the context
@@jason_35 Thanks for the informative reply, I appreciate it. Merci beaucoup.
Poor sportsmanship from Zhang. Although I hope she can recover as she seems down at the moment.
Zhang seems like a nice girl but people defending her like crazy is a bit ridiculous. She obviously isn't in a good place mentally and for her to hold up the game that much is inappropriate to say the least. And for her to start shouting at Toth for wiping off the ball mark (which is something all players do, and something she was entitled to do because the point was over) was unacceptable as well.
The ball was clearly on the line even someone that doesn't know tennis rules could see that. And to have the audacity to celebrate after your opponent retires from suffering a panic attack? That's a whole new level of low right there
@@cc4454 Yes the ball was clearly on the line, the umpire is known to be incompetent, but bad calls happen and very rarely do players cause this much of a scene because of it. Zhang held up the game for ages. I don't really blame Toth for celebrating infront of Zhang after Zhang shouted at her for merely wiping off the ball mark - something that is so custom and rudimentary in a clay court match. What exactly did Zhang intend to do with a ball mark from 2 points ago? It was such a ridiculous charade. She was clearly not in the right mental state to be on court, but the people hysterically attacking Toth and defending Zhang (including other pro players) are idiots.
@@user-gu1un7pb7k I agree. It's not Toth who's in the wrong here; it's Zhang.
Bad call or not, her reaction was very poor, in the extreme, and to prolong the argument for so long was absurd and totally disrespectful to the opponent and the crowd. She should have received a time violation for that.
And then to quit after that game was plain daft. Zhang is at fault yet almost everybody including several WTA players have jumped to her side and seemingly have isolated poor Toth over all this.
It's almost feels like bullying of the worst kind.
I feel terrible for young Toth and really hope she can recover from this episode.
Thank you for this comment. I feel like I'm crazy because almost everyone is acting as though Zhang didn't totally overreact. Bad calls (and even cheating) happens all the time, screaming and retiring isn't the right way to handle it.
