    Thank you so much for this video. I am new to knitting and your video is the first that actually points out how to read the pattern. Now maybe I'll actually find some patterns and follow them effectively. Thanks again! ❤

    This is my first time viewing your tutorial. I have knitted long enough to understand you, but have never tried anything this complex. You make this seem doable so I think I’m going to try this. Thank you for breaking this pattern down for us professional beginners knitters

    Thank you for the great video! I am relatively new to knitting and this has been extremely helpful! Never had the confidence to try a chart, but after your video and explanation it doesn't seem as scary as I thought LOL. Beautiful pattern can't wait to give it a try.

    It’s a *great* idea to knit a blanket and send it to Australia. We are 5 days into 2020 and half of the country is burning down. Half a billion animals have tragically died, and blankets are being accepted for the animals that barely managed to escape but got sent to veterinary centres.

    Love your beautiful work. I am a beginner and you make it look easy. Thank you so much for your help. This means so much to me as I am recently disabled but while I am following you and creating something that makes me happy, my thoughts are with you and not my pain. Thanks again! However, I have a question. In the beginning, you say to k3 rows, is the foundation row the first row or do I need to knit 3 rows added to the foundation row? I knitted 3 rows but I feel better to know if I did it right. Keep up the good work.

    After casting on 96 stitches how do you not join.?...Ive been connected to the other needle each time. Also, after I’ve done the first row is it the wrong side as I’m looking at it or do I turn it. If I start with the tail on the right side will the wrong side have the tail on left.side?

    Great video. I am no good at reading patterns, so following is great learning for me. But I must ask, why do you have the working yarn in your right hand? If you move it to your left hand you'll double your speed.

      @@knitknack2285 It's down to body memory,. Once a movement is made 1000'nds of times like with knitting, the fingers sort of want to do the same. I struggled so hard to learn to knit back, without turning my work to pearl back. I hate pearling. But now, it's my preferred method coz it's quicker. It took a few days.

    I'm still waiting for an answer on my question that I posted earlier. After I did 1-18 do I do repeat on 1- 18? Or do I do 9- 18? This pattern is killing me but I can not give up. This is a gift for my Grandma for her Birthday she's in her 90s. Going to see her in March.

      Becky Rosser2 hours ago (edited)I am a bit confused. The written text instructions say begin each row with a Knit 3. The diagram shows beginning first row with Knit 3, but row 2 shows begin with Purl 3. Your video says begin each row with Knit 3. Which is it? Alternate Knit and purl with the first three stitches as diagram shows. I've done as the written text says and began each row with knit 3. I can see my blanket doesn't look like your picture.

    • @Zachattackd7
      @Zachattackd7 6 років тому +1

      I think you're reading all of the boxes with a dash inside as purl's, when they actually mean purl on right side, knit on wrong side. So row two (being the wrong side) is knit 3, slip marker, knit 4, etc.

    Do i need the circular needles or can I use regular needles

    • @brigraphics
      @brigraphics 6 років тому

      Pink Monkey it is recommended that you use circular needles because you’re going to be casting on lots of stitches, about 100 I think. If you have longer needles with stops at the end then I’d say try it out, but it might be less comfortable than with the circular needles. Also those needles can be used for many other Bernat projects!!! Hope this helps!

      Alaina Pickering hi, to find the pattern you have to pull down the description box by hitting the small arrow on the top right hand corner just under the video.
      You'll find a link for the pattern, select it and it will go to a new screen. Here you will see a rectangle bos that says "download PDFs" and you wool have your pattern. If you like you can hit the little circle sign at the top of the screen and that will also download it to Safari (I am using iPad) I like to keep it on a tab in safari in case I cannot print the pattern or something happens before I have finished the product. Hope this helps.
