Swapping equipment will cancel the animation your character is doing, so in this case it cancels the 2nd half of the ham bat swing animation while still doing the damage from the attack. This means I can get in 7 hits before kiting (normally you can only get 6 hits before kiting)
Whenever you use the panflute on dragonfly, it resets the center of her roaming area to wherever she wakes up. When I moved her out of the arena and slept her, I made it so that only 1 pond registers within her roaming area (its about a 10 turf radius iirc).

Wow, I like that spacing to have her spawn everything from 1 pond. Very nice run!
thats so creative Salem, nice run
Wow. This could be a useful tactic for a day 1 or 2 iredescent gem I bet. So long as Wilson is around.
damn, gardeneer hat putting in work
Was there a reason you kept switching to the gardeneer hat? Really impressive speedrun
i dont know for sure but looks like it was cancelling the end of the attack animation

Every time he equips it theres a 25% chance to get a critical hit
First time seeing that setpiece
Why does she only continue spawning lavae at one pond instead of going to the others?
