@@TRIPXTREME I think High Point State Park which is where NY, NJ and PA come together is the best. It also has a monument with Military names of deceased NJ personnel from a number of wars engraved on its sides. Also Cape May Zoo is a great daytrip from the southern half of NJ. Parts of the Delaware River area has very nice camping locations and are affordable. Chesapeake Park which is located off the Garden State Parkway was a great place to camp and picnic when I was a kid in the late 50s and early 60s. My family loved to camp in the 50s, 60s and 70s in NY, NJ, PA, and the eastern coast. My honeymoon was spent camping with a reluctant hubby!
Was thinking the same thing. Imagine being excited to enjoy the Barnegat lighthouse while visiting the state park, only to realize it's across the sound with no way to get there.
Near Cape May is a place called Sunset Beach. If you look carefully, you can find Cape May diamonds along the waterline. The quartz stones are kind of translucent when wet, which sets them apart from regular smooth stones.
You missed the park where New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania meet in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a beautiful site during every season, especially in the Autumn.
Have you been to the Boardwalk lately? It’s not even half as nice as it used to be 10 years ago. It’s practically a ghost town now. NOT worth the trip.
Atlantic City's boardwalk is nothing like it once was. Even in the 90s, it was happening. Nowadays, nothing is going on mostly because of the Biden administration and inflation. The casinos in Atlantic City have been falling victim to Pennsylvania and online gambling. It's a shame I used to work in Atlantic City and spend lots of time on the boardwalk. But as far as putting it as the #1 desalination in NJ, not from my prospective.
bro all he does is yap about the beaches near atlantic city, if u want a chill beach and good views of ny go to sea bright and if you just want to go to the beach and chill out go to anywhere from long branch to point pleasant. the barrier islands are always packed but besides asbury park, in monmouth county, the night life at barrier islands, as in point pleasant, seaside heights, ocean city, wildwood, and atlantic city. i love the vid but some of it is kinda misinformation

Great place to E-Bike too! ⚡🚲
Barnegat Lighthouse is not at the Southern end of Island Beach State Park but at the Northern end of Long Beach island.

The statue of liberty is actually in Nj waters not ny. So I’d put that on your list as well
My sister and I took the ferry from near Cape May to Delaware. We saw lots of salt water animals. The trip itself is very restful.
They forget the Essex County Penitentiary. Many of our finest citizens live there.
Lucy the Elephant is an interesting example of Victorian area architecture. It was someone’s home. The bathtub is still there.
The Barnegat lighthouse is visible from IBSP, but is on the other side of the inlet
Six Flags Great Adventure?
@@wizloon9052 It is an adventure all right, not get punched, stabbed or beaten up from what I've heard from kids that worked summer jobs there.

May i know Boardwalk at which beach?
@AV-fn5wx Sorry, the Atlantic City Boardwalk. I went during a shoulder season, but I’ve heard the summer is not as packed as it used to be.
