As a local of Atlantic City, I'm glad you were able show what a difference and change Atlantic City has been. And even so, I think there are a TON of other places thatwould warrant even a second trip here for you. Places like Southside Pizza, The Vue (that someone else mentioned) and even A.C Sandwiches, with some of the best Banh Mi anywhere. If you do come back down, we'd be happy to collab.
I have not been to AC in almost 10 years it definitely did not have this caliber of food when I went. I noticed there was no local coffee spots Hayday was definitely needed. Thank you for this video this makes me want to check out AC again. I MUST try Cardinal and Hayday. If not this year than next.
Me and my family have been going to AC for over 3 years now (my parents for more than 20). Showboat is one of the only dog hotels in AC so if you are planning on bringing your dog, go ahead. Irish pub is also good for eating also. Make sure you also visit the steel pier helicopter tours, you will be talking about it all dinner long.
Since the 90's I've stayed at almost every AC casino on my trips. I got to see the old AC Hilton the Sands and Trump Plaza before they closed up. My Fav place to stay was the old Showboat when it was still a casino as it was connected inside to the Taj Mahal and inside from there to Resorts. I miss the Old Wild West when it was still a Full casino itself. I've stayed at Harrah's I don't know how many times. The Borgata and Ocean are too pricey for my tastes. Now getting Older I've taken a liking to the Golden Nugget as it's Smaller so I don't have to walk my legs off to get around in there.
My beach house is located right next door in Brigantine, never knew there was this much to offer in AC. Have to make a trip soon thanks for the great video.
Excellent. I've been to AC at least 10 times in the last 5 years (going again next month). 😊 👍🏿 Gilcrist DEFINITELY has the best pancakes anywhere (real talk). 💯
Great video. The problem is you can't walk around AC almost any time of the day, because it's such a shithole. I wont even mention the rif-raf on the jittney.
Docks Oyster House and Knife & Fork Inn, while somewhat Pricey, are both absolutely in a class by themselves. Just thinking about them makes me want to go back right now instead of waiting until next month. 😋
Being from Philly, you go "Downashore" during the summers. It's in our blood. My grandparents had an apt in AC, my aunt was a cocktail waitress at Resorts during the Merv Griffin days. You used to be able to get the coach bus for $1 down to the casinos and get a $10 casino chip and a coupon for the buffett. Besides people going to the casino's, most locals go to the beach towns spread along the Atlantic going south from Ventnor to Cape May. You should have eaten the White House Hoagie on the hood of your car to be authentic.
Watching now! I frequent Borgata either with my hubby for a short couples getaway from NYC or with the kids. We will be spending Thanksgiving weekend there with the kids. Trying to plan now! It would be our first time staying in the MGM Tower. We always stay at the Borgata tower.
OMG French Toast Latte! #FunFact it was inspired by "The Mountie" at Jacks Stir Brew :) (Also I have a little cameo, working in the window seat at Hayday.) Glad you enjoyed your trip to ACNJ.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. To bad it was raining. The VUE bar, on the rooftop of the Claridge hotel along the boardwalk provides the best view of the city, including the marina district. Happy hours are great as well. How can you go to Atlantic City and not go to the Irish Pub? DO AC!
There was once a train that connected New York and Atlantic City called The Blue Comet, It was on the Jersey Central Railroad and pulled by massive G3 class steam locomotives
Do you have a favoite NJ shore town to visit for the weekend? I like Wildwood, Point Plesant Beach, Seaside Heights, and Ocean City. Most of all shore towns get crowded in the summer.
I went to the Seaside area a lot in my 20s b.c my friend had a house there with his family! So i know that the best. I always liked Pt. Pleasant/Seaside and Belmar for nightlife.
Idk if it’s still offered but when I went in 2021 they had short (like 3 minute) helicopter rides on the boardwalk by the amusement park. It cost like $80 per person for 3 people at a time. Super terrifying for my dad and but the views are great!
Super great video and it's time for school to start back and to all people who take the subject in school name Social Studies and the subject in school name Social Studies is where all people can learn about the person name Christopher Columbus who discovered America and learn history
So much potential in AC. It's Run horribly. The mayor Marty Small and his superintendent of schools wife have been charged with beating their daughter with a broom until she was unconscious. They still have their jobs
Paterson Passaic county NJ Great falls it's a industrial city it made trains submarine airplanes Colt gun Hamilton society of useful manufacturing Washington dey Mansion home during the revolution golf course hinchcliff stadium jackels Base Ball

I love AC. There is so much to do in addition to gambling. The view is spectacular. The proximity to NYC makes it a great vacation spot.
Gilchrist is legendary, as is everything about Borgata!
Get the hotcakes well done 👍🏻

I'll be honest, I had no clue either. The food BLEW me away.
Completely changed my idea of what New Jersey & Atlantic City have to offer, great video @HereBeBarr 🎉
It’s surprised me a lot after many years of not going
@@HereBeBarr I thought it looked so good I've already shared it as a future trip idea with others , so big thanks! 👍
Congrats on 500k
Thanks
Smashed it again Jon 👏👏👏
Great intro to Atlantic City, fabulous ❤

And I want to see it again ☕️🧃🍻😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Wow! Atlantic City is looking really nice compared to decades ago.

Next time try Hash House a Go Go at Tropicana. Good food
Its good. But it isnt as good as the location at the Link in Las Vegas
Great video! Love AC❣️ Thanks Jon!
Amazing video as usual
Excellent. I've been to AC at least 10 times in the last 5 years (going again next month). 😊 👍🏿 Gilcrist DEFINITELY has the best pancakes anywhere (real talk). 💯

I'm staying at my summer place in Ocean City, NJ & I'm heading to AC this evenjng
Awesome!! hope you enjoy.
Wow I need to go to that Cardinal restaurant looks amazing.
making plans to travel to atlantic city in december definitely gonna go to all of these places!!
awesome!!
I went to AC in summer of 2019 for a card game tournament at the showboat. It was hollow and boring when I went. It's cool to see it turn around.
great job on AC
great video
wow I haven't been to Atlantic city in a while, I need to put it on my list. thank you
Nice 👌🏽
It seems like AC gets too much heat for being "crime ridden"...Vegas has rough spots right off the strip, but you dont hear about that as much.
Beautiful place to visit 😊
Quite a bit of food and drink, would have loved to see more activities. Excellent video nonetheless

Got to try Chef Vola's. Best veal parm in NJ. Place requires a reservation which isnt always easy to get. Got to call and get lucky.

@@HereBeBarrNot to forget Scottsdale, Arizona 😊😮

next time!
Nice ❤
Wishing Action Kid a speedy recovery!
Great video, this really makes me want to visit Atlantic City more now than ever...!
There was once a train that connected New York and Atlantic City called The Blue Comet, It was on the Jersey Central Railroad and pulled by massive G3 class steam locomotives
I wish that still existed.
@HereBeBarr Same, I loved the Blue Comet ever since I was a kid and even Lionel made the iconic model out of it
Kamehacon (Dragon Ball convention) is definitely moving to Atlantic City from Texas for next year 2025.
inside water parks are bigger in Poland and then smaller one in Germany
Unfortunately, the water park is not year round. I was there this week and it was closed. I did love the hotel. I’m planning to come back next summer.
Do you have a favoite NJ shore town to visit for the weekend? I like Wildwood, Point Plesant Beach, Seaside Heights, and Ocean City. Most of all shore towns get crowded in the summer.

He didn't gamble because he used to be a degenerate gambler for those who didn't know. Fire video, bro!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Borgata buffet is also worth the $
Imagine having a best things to do in atlantic city, and not have 1 casino in it.
Hi my name is Jorge I like the Atlantic city I am from lancaster pa i would like to move to Atlantic city to start a new life
All the properties on a Monopoly board are Atlantic City street names.
I do have a question: Is there going to be a new attraction in time square in the time square building? Thank u
yes i think next year!
atlantic city is the best of the best
Lmao stop it
Super great video and it's time for school to start back and to all people who take the subject in school name Social Studies and the subject in school name Social Studies is where all people can learn about the person name Christopher Columbus who discovered America and learn history
Island Waterpark (120.000sq ft) - Tropical Island Berlin Germany (710.000sq ft) :D ..
Anything to do besides eat!😅
❤
Love going to AC, I try to go there yearly cuz its only 1 1/2 hour drive
AC thinks it's Vegas with these prices 😅
AC has been declining for decades, nothing will bring it back when there are better destinations.
It's time to close my window it mean i am about to leaving
So much potential in AC. It's Run horribly. The mayor Marty Small and his superintendent of schools wife have been charged with beating their daughter with a broom until she was unconscious. They still have their jobs
It smells
This is not a recent video this is not what Atlantic city is like now, this place is totally Abandoned
1. Leave
Facts. Fucking dump
Where's the gambling?!?!?!?!?!
Can't film gambling and that gets all the publicity as is. We wanted to showcase other things to do.
Looking for housing at atlantic city cheap a single room affordable
Oh, my God, it's Brussels sprouts. That's worse than no food.
🤣
Much more to do in Atlantic city besides eating abunch of food like concerts comedy shows way more you made Atlantic city look boring
Paterson Passaic county NJ Great falls it's a industrial city it made trains submarine airplanes Colt gun Hamilton society of useful manufacturing Washington dey Mansion home during the revolution golf course hinchcliff stadium jackels Base Ball
I just went to Atlantic City. There is nothing worth going there for. It’s a craphole and the boardwalk sucks.
Your attitude sucks. Please stay home.
Number 1: Don't go to Atlantic City, NJ...
More like a 4 hour drive from NY city.🤣
Depends on time of day/day of week. We got there fast on a week day morning from Brooklyn.
This city is a dump. Reno of the east
My uncle been there he said it was REALLY GOOD . Well of course he always got the Master Suit 🌇 🌆 everytime he went there . @HereBeBarr
Don’t Go ????
