Planetary alignment: Venus, Jupiter, Saturn in the evening sky December 2021. Nikon P1000 super zoom

- Опубліковано 19 гру 2021
- In December 2021, three bright planets can be seen with the naked eye in the evening sky: Venus, Saturn and Jupiter. It is a beautiful planetary spectacle, especially as the planets are lined up. Fairly bright Saturn is located between very bright Jupiter and super bright Venus.
Let's see how these planets looks in the high magnification of Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera with incredible optical zoom 125x + 4x digital zoom.
On the day I was shooting this film, the weather conditions were very bad - high humidity and fog. This effectively downgraded the picture. Unfortunately, in December in Poland, ideal conditions for sky observations are rare.

Wow! The look how Jupiters moons appear in the darkness is just incredible
If you have binoculars, try and have a look! They're easy to spot
Thanks. I love mah moooons!
I would enjoy having my body forwarded there , once I'm finished with it , ,& I'm sure I'm not alone!
Galileo discovered them centuries ago using a primitive telescope..
Galileo was a Legend.
Wow… Moon is so detailed, even freaked me out a little bit.
The word awesome is so over used, that we forget what Awe really feels like. That freaked out feeling, that's awe. The moon is awesome.
Masterpiece always amaze everyone
Best to view the moon when it is gibbous. The craters are awesome even with binoculars.
You could almost see the flag
@@jpcodnia9133 🤣🤣
its so incredible to see these planets with my own eyes from out of my window. its just one moment to forget everything and look up into the sky. then you remind yourself how beautiful your life is. i love those midnight thoughts 🌝
thank you for these beautiful videos!
How beautiful astronomy is.
That zoomed in clip of Moon was just amazing
The Saturn rings are truly magnificent, but as you zoom on the Jupiter and the moons appear, just wow I am speechless ! Beautiful
I created jupiter through a telescope 😎

Thank you!!!!!!!
Thanks for admitting my rings 🥹, I look beautiful from the Nikon P1000 camera thingy 😇
I will never forget the first time I looked at Jupiter through a regular bird telescope. There it was, with it's 4 largest moon. And not only that: it's so obviously there even without the telescope. My mind just couldn't comprehend. I think it's the most humbling experience I have ever had. Then it also struck me, the reason I see Jupiter, is because the sun is shining on it, with some light reflecting towards me. >Eight Hundred Million< kilometers away from me - the sun's light is still strong enough for Jupiter to reflect parts of it so that I may see it clearly with my naked eyes. I don't even have words for that.
I see you too! 👍😘
I couldn’t have any experience 😭
@@YTistooannoying WOAHHH NO WAY JUPITER IS THAT REALLY YOU???
Except for the hundred words you already said
This comment is so BIG
There is something so exciting and yet unsettling about this. You know these things, read about them countless times, but seeing it gives you a completely different perspective.
The first time I set up my motorized telescope, I picked a random visible object to test it out. I was entirely unprepared for it to be Saturn. I mean, I know Saturn is there and I know what it looks like but to actually see it is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend checking it out with a nice telescope. This digital zoom gets real close up, but it’s never going to be as clear as a real scope. Better still is getting a telescope mount for a DSLR but that’s another level of budget entirely.
I took my sons, 20 years ago, to a planetarium which had a 2.5 or 3 metre telescope. It was focused on the moon , which looked like it was just across the road. Truly amazing. This is fantastic seeing Venus , Jupiter and Saturn.
The fact that Venus is so incredibly bright despite only showing a relatively small crescent is just mind blowing.
Yesterday, shortly after sunset as I drove from the motorway to my village through some kilometers of just fields left and right of the roads I saw Venus just majestically hanging there between the dark blue of the coming night and the fiery orange of the sunset and as I looked the other way, the moon just crept up over the treeline, fat and orange. I had to concentrate so hard not to drive off the road, haha.
But now, Venus is dimming.
Crazy Venus is visible thru my bedroom window
@@ivaerz4977 That's hardly "crazy"
Crazy that it's shining that bright and more than half of it is completely darkened
Really
Man I absolutely love the fascination with astronomy and wish I could personally get first hand experience of these magnificent wonders.
what about astrology
@@GNMbg you know that's a good question, and one I don't actually have an answer for. I will have to think about that.
Obviously we know that astrology is the study of how the positions, motions and the properties of stars, planets etc affect people and events on earth
@@harveyjohnson17 yeah but do you think its possible or its total BS?
@@GNMbg Astrology is pure bullshit like how tf can position of celestial objects affect human life lmao
I just love everything about astronomy ❤️
Amazing! To see Saturn pop up out of seemingly nowhere to Jupiter’s Galilean moons to the detail of our moon and see the tracking of the camera from the movement caused by the earth rotating. Most of the time it just appears stationary in the sky.
It's amazing that you can shoot these kind of images with just a powerful zoom camera without needing a dedicated telescope. Really cool!
Amazing he got a great view of the moon yet rovers on the moon always take blurry black and white pictures
@@jplonsdale7242 That's not true through. I assume you're referring to the recent chang'e-4 rover? It takes really sharp color photos. Although the moon isn't exactly colorful.
@@jplonsdale7242 I forgot the explanation, but it seems like black and white camera allows scientists to extract more information, like more detail or polarization of light or record spectrum or something. If they went with color, they would loose more. Can't remember exactly now, and if it still correct with modern color cameras.
@@fobusas a color sensor is made gluing a fixed filter (rgb bayer matrix) onto a mono sensor.
Main drawback is less resolution and less sensitivity on a single color.
Hence It's better to have a mono camera + a set of filters that let pass different wavelenghts
Na verdade na minha opinião, esses planetas não estão longe, como falam.
This was amazing. Thank you for this content. I didn't know how much I needed this in my life.
I've never been this excited looking at a close up video of the moon 🤣 🌝
I just can't believe in my eyes that I am watching these planets in such a zoom mode without getting trembling ..wow .. thanks
I'm a photographer and now I MUST do this...
Шикарно. Благодарю автору!
I see Alignment planetary in 20:51 in night I seen venus, Saturn, Jupiter and moon! That was amazing!👍😍😍
WOOOOW SUPER ZOOM MOON WOW PLANET!
I always love looking at pictures of the planets, though that zoom into them is just astonishing! Every time it does the zoom, it's like you're travelling towards it, and really gives a whole new perspective on the solar system!
Wow absolutely amazing 😍👍
what Facinates me is how they easily Locate the planet in sky. truly is remarkable.

Absolutely incredible video, it's blown me socks right off!! Thankyou for sharing.

Merry Christmas and also the next year is coming so what do you think how will be the next year?😀
Technology is beautiful and what it can capture is magnificent 💗
Damn, that Moon zoom is super cool! I can't believe it ! :O good job , so nice videos ! Keep up the good work !
Astonishing ! Amazing ! Excellent work and outstanding equipment, this Nikon is a real beast 🐉
☁☁🌚☁☁Moon is so detailed, even freaked me out a little bit.🌙
Beautiful!
I saw the three planets lined up nearly perfectly the other night just after sunset, I was so happy I was able to identify them by brightness and orientation in the sky
And something brain tingling to think about, next time you are looking at them is that Saturn is twice as far away from us as Jupiter is, and much smaller, yet still manages to shine clearly in the night sky.
Many thanks for showing us the planets. Saturn is really awesome, ,.Venus is brightest.
I had been noticing them in the sky and wondered what they were! Amazing…simply amazing!
I thought they were low orbiting satellites.
Awesome video! I walked outside last night shortly after sunset and was blown away by the sight of these super bright planets all in a row!
Where do you live ?
Обалденно! Мы видим другие миры через фотоаппарат стоя на своей планете
Absolutely terrific - thank you so much! 🙂
And yet there are flatearthers consuming our dear precious oxygen. Amazing video btw.
I don’t have high power lens like yours on my Sony camera, but I can make out the rings around Saturn, really fun to look at. Seeing moons craters is really cool to see. Can’t wait for a clear evening now.
Wich lense did you use for the sony camera?
a foto
Amazing video!! 😃
I find it so fascinating that we can see these things with the naked eye. That just tells you how massive these planets are. 1000 earths can fit in Jupiter. I simply can’t fathom.
that moon shot is incredible!
It almost felt like that if you reach digital zoom on the Moon, we'll see someone waving at us in between 2 craters. :D I used to do this with my Lumix, but didn't have a strong tripod. Well done!
You under estimate the size of the moon. The area between some craters or even some craters itself could fit the largest cities on this planet. you could fit any city and the whole worlds population on the moon as well. without any problems.
@@KelaniDuvero Just wanted to say something that praises the camera. It's amazing that it can zoom so much, it just felt it's never ending.
In other hand, yes... I know that the Moon is big as well, but you just made me think about this for a minute. Thanks!
@@DavidSmith488 Yeah, it is truly amazing. Both the camera and the moon!
I like Saturn 🪐
Thank you. And I really like Space and I will remember all of this too. Thx

How amazing this world😲
How am i supposed to pay attention to your amazing footage when im rocking to your amazing selection of music ?!!???!!
Im crying 😭😭 love to get witness this
Thanks for sharing.
The only problem with a camera like that is once you do this a couple of times, the novelty of it really wears off. Super zooming sounds good on paper, but does not have much else for practical use. Even a 70-200mm is generally more then enough for most zoom applications, outside of wildlife that is.
An eyesight of our ancient people was super healthy that they could see these planets without such devices 🙂
Ahh the moon, so visible and clear
2:25 Human figure on the moon..
I didn't see it, but you could be right There is a filmshot showing the Apollo rising up from the moon. But in 1969 there were no cameras on remote control. Somebody must have managed the camera, so they left him behind on the moon
@@rowlandandros1012 yes I always thought this
Thanks for showing us this fantastic view. With my naked eye, i only see the moon.
The moon is soo fantastic!!
This video clearly captures the rotation of the earth too... NICE!
