- Zooming in on the Sun with Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera with self-made solar filter (Baader foil ND5). Sun with a lot of sunspots. In this video you can also see a comparison of the size of sunspots to the size of the planet Earth.
Mega zoom test. No telescope, only camera with incredible optical zoom 125x + 4x digital zoom.

It all depends on the solar filter. There are also some filters that will show you ☀️
@@MrSuperMole Which costs more?
If they watch it without solar filter, ur expectation will fulfilled.
Actually sun is white
@@Agent-ik1ui I hope you are joking
The sun oddly looks like a really bright moon, and it looks like a cool night. Love it.
Its not moon its sun
@@soulhuntergamerz5663 bruh it looks like moon with solar filter lol

@Triggered Gamer X I know, I was just saying what it looked liked. It looks like the moon.
THE SUN IS NOT A MOON IF YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE THE DUMBEST HUMAN ON EARTH
That's insane to think that a camera can take us that close to the sun.
Thanks for this, i never imagined i would ever see the sun from that close in my lifetime lol.
Now i want a camera like this one haha!
Dude the sun is massive
How the fuck do you know that's the size of the earth? Do you expect me to just believe you since you do nice tricks? Like the catholic church used to do?!

This is called perfection
Thank you :)
@Pål HÖGSTEN nice👌
It’s fascinating to see an object which was there before any of us even the earth and will be there when all of us will be gone.

Absolutely amazing, we tend to forget theres just a star right there, the reason for all life on earth and the center of our solar system.

Don’t believe everything you’re told. Stars look absolutely nothing like sun
@@johnsondoeboy2772 Lol you silly little cretin
@@johnsondoeboy2772 Weird. The sun is a star buddy.
@@zphre7548 Yea, I went to elementary school just as you did. My comment isn’t a regurgitation of my 2nd grade teacher, i’m talking about what both celestial bodies look like if you zoom in with a telescope or powerful camera.
@@johnsondoeboy2772 Should've phrased your sentence to be more clear then. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
Très impressionnant 😱
The best time to see sunspots is just at sunrise. In the mid 80's. I have seen them with the naked eye, just at sunrise, out in the country. There were three and they were quite large. I will never forget the experience since they were so dark and noticable.
That's because the sun is much closer than you think. And the Earth is bigger.
Than we think?
No, it's because it's really huge, therefore it's angular distance is still relatively big regardless of it's far distance.
Así es la torta es más grande y el sol más pequeño

@@dimensio_italian_magician You called me a clown based on what?
Damn. Just damn. This is incredible
The P1000 is better than a telescope you can carry it with you. Love your vids 😊
It’s not better than a telescope Sandra just search UA-cam for “sun through a telescope” how’s the research going have you noticed how the shape of the sunspots change conforms to the fact they are on a spherical object… just like the earth really 😊
telescope are better.

These type of things make me think every time, how small i am, like a particle of dust.🙂
Yes:)
That's a pretty stupid thing to say.
@@vonbraunprimarch not really when u consider the size of the earth and the sun, that one sunspot is as big as the earth btw. So imagine how small u are compared to the earth, literally a particle of dust if u compare urself to other celestial bodies.
UDAY you're not insignificant , our brains more impressive then the sun .
@@TheCraigy83 our brains can’t vaporise each other when touched
What in the world??? All with just a camera and a reaaaaaaaalllllly awesome tripod
So this Nikon P1000 can zoom in from 148.13 million km away? That is impressive!!
Zooming in is just magnifying, it doesn't matter how far away the object is.
actually sun and moon was nearly cloud
@@CSXRobert lol I guess you have lots of experience with distances of 100 million kilometres. Nice! 👍
@@EternaL1fe again, zooming is just magnifying, doesn't matter how far away the object is. It's a pretty simple concept, do you really not understand it or are you just trolling?

The clarity of an object will not tell you how far away it is.
The fact that Earth is worth only a sun spots worth of size. Damn
How do you know that?
literally something i would do. loved it
Bro this spot was not real...this dust spot on your camara lens...😂😂😂😂
Actually no it isn't a dust spot
i saw sunspots with my naked eye, when the sky was cloudy, the clouds filtered alot of sunlight, so it became safe to view the sun.
Can’t believe you have this camera and believe in the heliocentric model
And is there any other model?
He uses this camera CORRECTLY and records videos of planets.
Instead, all the dumb flerfs who have this camera don't even know how to FOCUS IN on a planet and use their incapacity as "proof" planets look like stars.
@@dimensio_italian_magicianAre there any videos on this channel where he zooms into stars? People are uploading videos of out of focus stars, correct? Would be amazing if this channel could upload a video of zooming into stars with a focused camera. Instead there’s just the zooming in of planets, eclipses, starlink etc. Afterall there is said to be more stars in the sky than grains of sand on earth… the uploading of ONE video zooming into a star would be nice.
@@johnsondoeboy2772 oh, i own a telescope and a focused star looks like a bright colored dot, while if i make it out of focus it looks similar to most videos of the so called "truth seekers" on the internet.
When out of focus, the object appears bigger and you can see the reflection of the telescope's mirrors.
You can try this with your phone..go on your camera app, select pro mode and center any distant light. Even the moon works for this "experiment". Then go to the focus settings and change it. You'll see how the moon or the distant light will become bigger (just like you see on your "truth seekers" friends' channels...)
One last thing.. if you're one of those who think that a camera is better than a whole freaking telescope, educate yourself. A telescope with its eyepiece works similar to a camera lens, except it's much bigger. Therefore, it can collect more light than any camera and can go up to much more magnification than a camera.
So don't try to call everyone "sheep" while you probably repeat what you hear on flat earth videos and then call yourself the "genius who can think freely"
I find it very hard to believe you can zoom in on a planetary object 93 million miles away.
Japanese optics and electronics :)

How did you make a filter? Just got the same camera today, and I would love to see the sun, can’t seem to find a solar filter
It looks like a cookie you can eat
This is so neat! So, is what you're seeing from the past technically? Maybe an hour or two? Not sure how it works, but still interesting to think.
The image of the sun you are seeing right now is actually its image from 8 minutes ago.
What happens if at maximum zoomed state you will remove the solar filter and observe sun
The lens will focus the sun's light on the sensor, which will be damaged by overheating or ignite.
