Yes, you do Julia! I've been to Italy with my Italian grandfather, Giuseppe. It was an amazing trip! Italy is so beautiful! My grandparents were Italian. My grandmother was from Friuli and my grandfather from Calabria 😍. Both left Italy before the Second World War and met on the ship to Argentina! Thank you so much for this amazing video! I really enjoyed it, Julia! 🥰♥️
So crazy to know that a wine that was preserved for many years back it’s still available now. It makes no sense you were talking with a run out of those bottles already. The place looks amazing though!
It's always worth fifteen minutes or so of time out of my day to watch your vlogs, Julia. Whether it's a work trip, hanging round the house or playing with Luna, your content is truly appreciated, and your attitude and personality are a huge part of that. As per my usual, Cheers from GEG!
This video brought back some bittesweet memories of the last vacation trip with my father. He was dying of Pancreatic Cancer. And fortunately, instead of going "one more time" to Devonshire and Normandie, my (now ex-)wife and I talked him into going to Hawaii, instead. On the way back, we stopped in San Francisco and took a day trip to Sacramento to the Railway Museum. (Very strrong recommend!) He really enjoyed the museum. And, on the way back, I saw a sign for Fairfield. I asked dad if he were up for a little side trip. He asked "where"? I said "it's a surprise". We took him through the vineyards to the Western Railway Museum, which besides trolleys and streetcars, has all sorts of electric railway vehicles from Norethern California. One of the exhibits in storage was a "freight motir", which before coming to California, had worked on the Washington, Baltimore, and Anapolis and my father remembered seeing as a little boy. We started tallking with a volunteer about it. He asked if we could come back the next day and he'd have it out of the carbarn. The look on my father's face was priceless! Needless to say, we were back the next day. That was back in April 1989. Fast-forward to November 2021. I'm in Glendale, California for a mini-convention of the Southern Pacific Railraod Technical & HIstorical Society. Everyone is wearing a nametag. There' a guy with the same name as the as the volunteer who got that freight motor out for my father so he could see it one last time. I had to ask, "In April 1989, were you a vol;unteer with...?" It was the same guy! Talk about a small world. I told him about how much it meant to my father to see something from his childhood, while he was within weeks of death. Never take anything for granted. Something you do for someone else that means so little to you could mean the world to them.
Julia, you are hilarious referring to the “mountains” on your drive from Sacramento to Napa Valley. I have driven those roads many times and around here we call them hills. If you drive east from Sacramento, you will find real mountains (Sierra Nevada mountain range)on the way to Tahoe or Reno. Love your content, Don
NapaPaul - lived in Napa 20 years and travel in/out of SMF often. Glad you found the correct and fastest route, Hwy 80 to Hwy 12 (90 mins) on your way back to the airport, with flat wide highways the entire way. I assume you came to Napa over Monticello Rd, which is actually pretty windy, narrow and over a small 'mountain'. It is the 'back way' to get to Sacramento if there is major traffic or a road closure, but slower for sure. Glad you had a nice trip. With so many incredible restaurants in Napa, sorry to see you ended up at Olive Garden I assume in Fairfield, but always something for next time.
I loved the video such a great winery to visit and you girls had a great time. Thanks for posting. I look forward to the next one. My cousins wife was a stew for united for 25 years she lived in Arlington VA and did all European flights. Amazing for her. She is retired now. Have a great day
Looked like a fun trip! We always hit up the Olive Garden whenever in the US. All you can eat soup and salad is the best! If you’re into soups, try their zuppa tuscana. It is soooo tasty!
Depending on the wines you're tasting, the sugar in the chocolate may not react well in your palate (make the wines taste sour). So maybe that's why the chocolate came afterward.
Those are not “mountains” lol. Been through there a million times, those are hills and burned ones at that, a true Ca specialty. If you want real mountains, try Shasta, the Sierras or the drive up 101 on the coast.😂 Jokes aside, hope you had a great time in Ca! Do try and come back to SMF sometime! There’s tons of neat things to do in Sac as well as the state as a whole!🙃
Isn't Napa beautiful? The vineyards and the rustic Italian architecture absolutely sing to me. 🥰 I have been to Italy and it's gorgeous. I hope you get there yourself! I'm so glad you got food items, too, Julia. I'm not a big wine drinker but I would definitely be purchasing the pasta, sauces, oils, etc. Loved the magnets you chose. 🍝 🍕 Hi Eric! Hi Luna! Happy Thursday! 🥰💕
Oh my gosh what an amazing trip! And the Tower of unclaimed Luggage in the Sacramento airport! I've seen it many times. Thank you for sharing this post. Looks like you had an amazing time
Hey Julia I enjoyed watching that vlog. Lovely to see different places with you. You always so happy and cheerful. Love the way Luna welcomes you with your shoes 😂. God bless you, look forward to watching your next vlog.
Julia. You were in my neck of the woods, as I'm in the next valley over, Sonoma Valley. Next time you're in the area, be sure and check out Jack London State Park located in the Valley of the Moon, and than farther north im Alexander Valley, you should check out Francis Ford Coppola's winery, where you can rent your own Cabanna and swim and relax poolside while sipping a nice selection of wines. There is also an excellent restaurant onsite and lots of fun movie memorabilia to look at from Coppola movies, like the desk from the Godfather, the car from Tucker, and so much more, as well as a few wine tasting bars similar to what you experienced in Napa. P.S. I heard your wine server touch on the wild fires we had that ravaged both Napa and Sonoma County. They were unbeluevabke, and even burnt our family home to the ground; but amizingly, there is so much to see in the area that survived the devistating fires, as you got to see first hand with your visit to Napa. I hope you'll visit the area again soon, and as always, I appreciate you sharing your experiences by video. :)
I'm glad that he shared about the devastating wildfire that destroyed so many acres of land. I live in Southern CA, but I recall the loss of so many vineyards & wineries in that area. Beautiful.
a good sign you’ll be passing through mountains is if you are heading for anything called a valley ;) I get it, I live in northern CA and I am not a fan of driving through the mountains. But Napa is worth it!! :)
Hey Julia!👋 What a beautiful trip! Being a Texas girl, I totally understand your apprehension about driving through those mountains lol! That gorgeous pasta you picked up would look beautiful in one of those decorative glass jars!😍 Ohh sweet Luna with loving the shoes! We have a kitty 🐈⬛ that likes to crawl inside my hubby’s boots, lol!😂 Thanks so much for sharing with us, and see ya next time!🙋♀️😘
So cool you got to go to Napa! When I was a kid we lived in Concord (east Bay Area) for quite a few years. Not very far from Napa, so I have spent lots of time there. I like the experiences the two of you had there! Have a nice rest of the week!!
Julia Wow! What an experience. It looks very much like you and your friend went to Italy rather than California! My brother and his wife live in Prince Edward County in Ontario Canada which is also a wine producing region in Canada. It is a big draw for tourists also. Love the magnet that you bought. Great vacation! Regards Jennifer and Duncan
Ladies, welcome to my back yard. I have so many suggestions of things to see and do, but I never know that anyone is coming my way until they have come and gone. I was born in Berkeley, grew up in the East Bay, and now live in the city where you ate dinner at Olive Garden. Oh, well. Drop me a note the next time you are heading to any of Sacramento, San Francisco, or San Jose, if you are looking for the advice of a local. I do know a little of the Dallas area, as during the '83 - '86 period, I lived in both Richardson and Garland.
Oh this looks gorgeous, I’d almost be tricked into thinking you are in Italy 🇮🇹 My husband and I went to Tuscany with his sister and her husband 15 years ago and it reminds me very much of this xx Ps your waiter was so lovely, bless him xx Pps don’t eat the pretty pasta, put it in a clear jar and put it on your kitchen work surface so you can always be reminded of Napa xx
So I was correct in my guess in the last video!!! Napa is great. However I would suggest if you are going to Napa, a great day trip is from SFO. I took a ferry that past Alcatraz and San Quentin, and the tour then took a van into Napa. Also recommend having a tour so you don't have to worry about driving. (I remember everyoine was a sleep on the way home.) Looked like a fun day.
Loved this post given I lived in the NV for 18 years. I was confused when you said you were going through mountains to get there from Sacramento given, I was born here. I have no idea who gave you those directions, I know how you went through Fairfield but there as you know a much better way. The castle is beautiful, but you need to spend several days there. Did you make it to Yountville? If you ever need suggestions next time you are out, I know the Valley well. Keep up the Vlogs love watching them.
Before I knew you were in Napa Valley, I thought you were in Italy! Wow! The guy giving you the wine samples was super nice and gracious!! Love your videos Julia! I don't comment a lot cause I usually watch on my smart tvs😉
Although I live in California I have never been to Napa. It looked really beautiful, just as it has been described to me. I would love to go winetasting there someday, as I’m a huge fan of wine 🍷 ❤️✈️
How awesome you came to Sacramento, I've lived here for most of my life. Napa is very beautiful and Northern California has a lot of beautiful places to visit. So hope your able to visit again. The last time I was there, I visited a fully operational grinding mill, where you can buy several kinds of flour.
Hello I'm a wine enthusiast and I used to work for Castello di Amorosa so I got to tell you just to be correct that La Fantasia does not have papaya in it but it is a rosey party wine with all the red berries cherry and pomegranate and he seemed like a nice guy but I don't think he's had the right training on that particular wine I do like your video I just want people to get confused when they go there and they expect papaya flavors out of the drink that doesn't have them.
What a great video Julia! So glad you enjoyed the Napa area I'm not a drinker but love the beauty of the area. In 26 years I was up in the area probably 50 to 60 times or more and the gift shops were always fun to look through after I made a delivery( mostly computer parts) my late wife was a spoon collector and most wineries had souvenir spoons. I always enjoy the videos! Hope you make it back to Napa sometime I'm sure Eric would like it.
Hello Julia. Thank you for sharing your vlogs. I enjoyed this video very much. I love wine, too. Especially, white wines and some rose wine. I have been to Napa Valley, many years ago, great memories! Always great to see Ms Luna and Erick in your videos too. Looking forward to your next video, where are you taking us next time? Stay safe and have fun! Cheers
My question "where are you taking us next time?...it was a rhetorical question. I know that when you are on reserve you don't know, and even when you have a schedule that is confidential information. Thanks for replying back. Many blessings to you, Erick, and Ms Luna.
I live in sac and you didn’t need to go to Napa for good vineries, they are overrated and overpriced, they have some great vineries with amazing views. For next time if you want to know. And yes roads are narrow also lol
Julia You are totally awesome I love watching your blogs you’re so positive and energetic your fresh breeze I love watching your vlogs Ashley A Egerton I am from Rockville Maryland
Novel idea and it was nice to see California even though that's where I live. Beautiful countryside compared to where I am in the Central Valley, close to an hour south of Sacramento. I have a vineyard across the street but no castle and no view of rolling hills here so you did have a better view!! Glad you had a great time and thank you for sharing. Take care, stay safe and hugs to Eric and Luna!!
Thank you for watching! ❤️🍷🏰 Now I need to go to Italy!
It was so beautiful amazing Vlog 💘
Yes you do
To France as well.
Well, maybe you'll luck out sometime and get a trip or take a vacation there.
So crazy to know that a wine that was preserved for many years back it’s still available now. It makes no sense you were talking with a run out of those bottles already. The place looks amazing though!
That luggage “sculpture” was hysterical!

So true! Love to see what America has to offer. I am from the Netherlands
I love Olive Garden. That Vinyard was beautiful. I always love the music you out into your videos.

I hope you had a great time on your trip with your friend
What a lovely video, thanks for sharing! Napa is very beautiful!!!
You are very precious and motivated. No make up on your dimple looks cute.
Wow, what a trip !!. It was great that got to go on a great girl-trip with your friend

Hahahah we are both babies when it comes to driving! It was a mountain to us 😂😂😂
Don Giles I had to laugh also those are hills compared to the Sierra Nevada mountains,I've driven those "hills" many times.
just made the same comment.. They are baby hills and I also drove Hwy 12 many times.
Lol yes. It was crazy to me how flat Dallas was when I visited so I’m sure it’s a big mountain to them.
💯
Beautiful country… Ty once again for taking us along with u
Love your vlogs !! Thank you for sharing beautiful Napa Valley !!
Thanks for sharing your experience Julia 🚗👍
As a Bay Area native, I immediately recognized and have driven those roads many times. This was like a little taste of home! Glad you had fun!
Glad you could see a taste of home in todays video, thanks for watching!

Great vlogg Julia,
Pretty scenery and I love ur dress. Always nice to see Eric and Luna. 😍
This trip looked amazing!! You are making my bucket list grow! And love the magnets! I would have got that wine bottle magnet to!
Depending on the wines you're tasting, the sugar in the chocolate may not react well in your palate (make the wines taste sour). So maybe that's why the chocolate came afterward.
Beautiful! I always wanted to go to Napa Valley! 😀

Oh my gosh what an amazing trip! And the Tower of unclaimed Luggage in the Sacramento airport! I've seen it many times. Thank you for sharing this post. Looks like you had an amazing time
I’m the same way about bridges. We need to cross a bridge to visit Napa and my mom always drives us over because the bridge freaks me out.
Hey Julia I enjoyed watching that vlog. Lovely to see different places with you. You always so happy and cheerful. Love the way Luna welcomes you with your shoes 😂. God bless you, look forward to watching your next vlog.
The next time you are in this area - checkout Calistoga. They have hot springs/spas.

If you have a long layover in San Diego or Ontario, you should make the drive to Temecula Valley. They have several wineries that rival Napa.
Hope you like are area. It's nice there in Napa, San Fran is not that great to me. have a great trip.
How did you get the wine on the plane???? I wont buy wine on the vineyards because I dont want to check bags. Is that a perk of being flight crew?
I'm glad that he shared about the devastating wildfire that destroyed so many acres of land. I live in Southern CA, but I recall the loss of so many vineyards & wineries in that area. Beautiful.
Hi Julia will you be selling any of your own merchandise soon? I would love to buy and wear a “Jetting Julia” T-shirt!
a good sign you’ll be passing through mountains is if you are heading for anything called a valley ;) I get it, I live in northern CA and I am not a fan of driving through the mountains. But Napa is worth it!! :)

Great vlog, I want to go to Napa now!
Could you tell me which glasses frames you have? I love them!
glad you were able to get away and visit your friend in cali and drive to
nappa and the vineyards were amazing along with the castle and the gift shop
I’m afraid of heights too!! But I love to fly. Lol
Great vlog as usual!
Awesome hope you get to go to Italy . Love the video.🙂🌞
How did you bring the wine back? Did you check the bag? Or does the liquids rule not apply to crew?
A lovely video.....so enjoyed....thanks Julie and Tiffany! And I love Olive Garden!
Wine country is a lot of fun. SMF cracks me up with the floor to ceiling suite cases.
Right?! I love that structure 🧳
Can you please tell me what eyeshadow you have on? It’s beautiful!
Oh Julia you must come to Italy maybe with Eric, I live in Genoa and I would love to show you around! Love you ❤️❤️

I've never seen that winery before and I live near Sacramento. How cool that you came to my airport, I work just across the way in Terminal B!
Napa and Sonoma are beautiful areas. I think Sonoma produces better wines imho. At $27.00 for a 2021 Pinot Grigio it better be good.
Before I knew you were in Napa Valley, I thought you were in Italy! Wow! The guy giving you the wine samples was super nice and gracious!! Love your videos Julia! I don't comment a lot cause I usually watch on my smart tvs😉
PS love the magnets!
Born and Raised, I always feared the mountain rides. 🤣
Whine and chocolate is not a good mix if you're there for pure wine tasting. So I understand why they gave you chocolate after. ;)
I lived in northern Italy for three years and have been to this winery in Napa, so thanks so much for the memories, Julia! Such a fun video!
Although I live in California I have never been to Napa. It looked really beautiful, just as it has been described to me. I would love to go winetasting there someday, as I’m a huge fan of wine 🍷 ❤️✈️
I went to Italy in April. And that is what Italy looks like. It’s stunning. 😍😍
I love that you had an awesome trip to Napa and brought us along. I never knew how scenic Napa is.
How awesome you came to Sacramento, I've lived here for most of my life. Napa is very beautiful and Northern California has a lot of beautiful places to visit. So hope your able to visit again. The last time I was there, I visited a fully operational grinding mill, where you can buy several kinds of flour.

Jetting Julia , what did you think of the 6 dollar plus gas prices in CA, We have to live with it every fill up, Great video per usual
eric is a lucky guy
Wow! That looks awesome!
Love it ❤️❤️
Cheers from Canada . In the Toronto area .
Omg you are so sweet 🥲 so absolutely beautiful 🤩 love you Lisa.
My favorite subway is turkey ham with cheese lettuce tomato cucumber black olives mayo on whole wheat
Oh dear Julia! Know that I would never critique or dismiss your choices in drink or life, but sparkling rosé, really? 🤣
the wine bottle magnet is ideal, excellent choice. Your server host was energetic and knew what was up.
He was awesome!!
Julia-love your channel and thanks much for sharing your life with us! We toured the wine country back in 1991 and loved it!
What a fun day!
Great trip Julia if it happens that you are in Sacramento again go to Old Town and the train museum which is amazing.
Will do thanks for the suggestion!
What a great video Julia! So glad you enjoyed the Napa area I'm not a drinker but love the beauty of the area. My question "where are you taking us next time?...it was a rhetorical question. I know that when you are on reserve you don't know, and even when you have a schedule that is confidential information.
Thanks for replying back. Many blessings to you, Erick, and Ms Luna.
Very nice thank you showing us the world through you eyes. 😊
Great tour of the Vineyard and the Castle . Also , I haven't watched your videos in few months, but you're glowing. Take care.
Beautiful Napa Valley! Thanks for sharing Julia! 😊❤️
Lord what a glorious place!
I live in sac and you didn’t need to go to Napa for good vineries, they are overrated and overpriced, they have some great vineries with amazing views. For next time if you want to know. And yes roads are narrow also lol
How much did it cost to fill up that gas tank?
I love that you went to Olive Garden after Napa!
Really nice trip you did a great job showing us around
the best part of your videos is seeing Luna excited. I love luna.. such a happy girl, but have to be honest, I love my sheba a lot more.
Julia You are totally awesome I love watching your blogs you’re so positive and energetic your fresh breeze I love watching your vlogs Ashley A Egerton I am from Rockville Maryland
I hope the views were worth the drive for you! The winery looks so pretty, and I’m glad you had a good time! 🤩
When Luna carries a shoe, is it a way to tell you it’s a strong desire to go out for a walk TOGETHER?
Napa is Amazing!{
Loved this video ♥️ and the wine bottle magnet is ADORABLE ♥️♥️♥️♥️
