I am really confused here. I have the same issue. I have total of 7.0 in ielts however, my speaking was 6.5 and writing 6.0 which means I narrowly escaped with 0.5. Now I am currently working as a career in the Uk but not up to a year. Can I still get the supporting document from them or still need to wait for one year?

When I left my job in my home country I didn’t know English, coming to UK I chose to do another job and then maternity twice. Although all this long time didn’t make me forget about my precious job. All ways I remember moments from A&E. Do you think it is possible to get register with NMC after this long long period of pause and to get a job here in UK and do what I like most? Regarding your registration in UK, you will need your certificates and the regulatory body in your home country where you trained to attest that you are licensed with them or your certificates qualify you to practice in your home country. This is what I found on the NMC UK website. “We'll ask you for the name of the regulator in your country of training, so we can confirm your registration if you registered with them, or whether your qualification would allow you to register with them if you haven't registered with them. Before you begin, you should contact the regulator in your country of training to: let them know you are applying for registration with us make sure you have completed any steps they need you to before they can respond to our request” Have a read on The UK website for more information

You would be able to join the register with at 7.0 Speaking 7.0 reading 7.0 Listening and 6.5 writing If the results is not like this, then you would need to write again.

Hello, How are you? I have started the process for NMC registration. Just wanted to know that after CBT and OSCE, we will et registered right? it will not be equilency only? And on the basis of registration we can get a job as midwife in UK?
You can update your registered name in your NMC Online account. You’ll need to provide your new name and title a copy of an official document confirming the name change (see list below for documents we accept) the surname and PIN of a referee who can verify your name change, if required www.nmc.org.uk/registration/your-registration/updating-your-details
If you are in the UK already, I think giving the NMC a call will get you a more suitable response. Either than that, I think you will need an affidavit.

You would need to work a year before you can get the supporting information either than that, you would have write the exams again
