The bottom line is that you MUST still go and learn to become a registered nurse in CANADA. You must pass through the process before you can be qualified as a nurse, NO SHORT CUT. The truth is that it is more demanding and more challenging with no science background but not impossible. However , people must know that it is not a WALK in the PARK; YOU must put in the work and don't expect to just walk into it without years of consistent handwork. It does not work like that.
@@Joypopins Then its either you did not read what I wrote or you failed to understand it. I will suggest that you read it again. I worked in the health care for years, people don't have to come and make things seems easier than it should be. There is no need for exaggeration so that you don't raise false hope. Thanks a million ladies❤ By the grace of God, I will come to Canada through spouse visa in 6 months. I don’t have science background but now,I really want to become a nurse. It was all the information I was looking for 😊 thanks again!!
Thanks Nneka, I've been glued to your channel since I found it, it more informative and I'm grateful. Concerning the compressed Nursing, can you please share other schools in canada that offers same but not so expensive for international students?

Hello Nneka, Actually, I did my BSC Microbiology degree in India for three years. Currently, I am doing my post diploma in Health care administration and service management at Conestoga college in Canada. I have a question: Can I apply for the nursing course after my diploma course. What are the chances of accepting the application in CLG you mentioned in the video? Please reply to my question because I am so confused.
I am so grateful I found this video 🥺 I am a 300lvl student in microbiology. I want to apply for an accelerated nursing program in Canada and before I apply for that program, I have to do some prerequisite courses in nursing e.g Anatomy. I wanted to ask can I do those prerequisite courses in the university where I plan to do my accelerated nursing program in Canada or I should do my prerequisite courses in another University where they offer those perquisites courses and after I have gotten my results, I can then apply for the university of my choice where I plan to do my accelerated nursing program.
Hey Nneka, thanks for this very insightful vide, could you also make a video taking us through the process of applying for residence permit in Canada? Thanks in advance.
Nice video.... Please do a video for someone who would want to come study medicine after their first degree in Nigeria... And if they came into Canada as PR
Hello Nneka, I would like to ask if it is better to get permanent residency before applying to schools due to the high cost for international students.
This may be coming late but was it a BsN degree or a postgraduate, graduate or masters program in nursing because I’ve searched and it’s still mostly BSCN degrees. So was it a BscN degree she did?
Hiii... Thank you for the video... It was really insightful❤️ Please can we get a video of list of schools that offers practical nursing programs with low tuition for international students... Thank you
Hi Nneka, thank you for this powerful video. The guest talked about student loan? Please how can someone access student loan to pay up her tuition fees. What is the process like and can every international student that wants the loan apply? Please put me through on this cos this is what I need now. Thank you
Please, can an international student apply for this compressed nursing? I heard Canadian immigration doesn't issue visas to international students going to this accelerated or compressed nursing program.
Thank you so much for this ...you made mention doing some prerequisites online; can you advise a suitable site? For example, Coursera and edx sites, are courses from such sites acceptable for nursing prerequisites?
Really don’t know the websites you mentioned are but i dropped links to some schools like that help with that in the description box I hope this helps❤️

Canadian schools don’t typically accept HNDs for masters or PhD but I don’t know if this would have an impact on a bachelors in nursing. I think you should verify with the school you’re applying into just so you know their necessary requirements and you are on a safe side. Every schools requirements can be a tad different
Hello. I have done bachelor of science in non medical stream in my back home. I wanna be a RN. I live in Canada. Please suggest me a course to start my career in medical field.

Both routes don’t affect your Canadian nursing licensing journey. So it all depends on what you wanna go for. A video about my personal nursing experience will be out soon. So please keep an eye out.

Personally, I'll suggest PR first because of access to student loans and lower tuition fees.
Please I need more information about international nurses with nursing background steps...
Why should I pay $27,000 a year for Nursing in Canada when I can go to Nursing school in Nigeria and then move to Canada and take the Nursing exams.
