I have been off cleaning my kitchen, came back to this having come up on my UA-cam queue, having put it on there about an hour ago. Now THIS is my ultimate ultimate ultimate exactly what I want to do. I have gone into resin mold casting and mold making, acrylic pouring, MANY other things, and I decided that I am not good at art, necessarily, but I am EXCELLENT at embellishing and collecting treasures. This is perfect.
That’s a weird response, LOL I THINK I WILL PASS. But it brought me back to this beautiful piece, which I am thankful for. Sheesh, 9 mos was forever ago!

Wow that's absolutely gorgeous and I love the pearls I have an entire ocean scene tattooed on my left arm with a mermaid,octopus,crab, Jellyfish and pearls needless to say I'm a cancer. Tammy this is just amazingly beautiful! I love the story of the collected coral. I do a clear top coat on my resin/pigment pieces because you said it is necessary, and since your resin is flawless; I trust what you say (also, I don't want to be cheap or lazy by doing only one coat. LOL)

And you're so clever xxx we have a neighbour like that too....has a Porsche that he just has to rev and scream up and down the road...🙄 Exactly re price. I make resin clocks, and just the supplies for each one is $60...but at least every one is an art piece of its own.

Can I ask what temperature you keep your room at when working with KS? I switched to them after watching you and the resin I was using changed their formula, didn't tell us, took the original off the website etc so I switched. This is thinner than I'm used to so I'm wondering the temps you use it at, how long you'd let it sit for about a medium viscosity so it doesn't flow too much and cause undesired effects for certain things like some coaster techniques.

How do you protect the shells against dust ? Can one put resin over it too?
