What nozzle size did you use. What were your settinga for the build? I want to build a helmet from Halo. I want it to be printed fairly quick, but i dont want to lose all the detail. I was between using the .4 or .6.
Kann man irgendwo das Modell runterlangen?oder muss ich extra diese ganze 3D Prozess auf mein Pc selber machen?kleben anmalen und so alles hab ich Bock zu machen.aber ich kann’s halt aufm pc nicht selber machen....
Mainly fun to do! A lot of the prints are set up right before I go to bed, so it's almost like they're done in no time since I'm not consciously waiting for them to finish
I see from the other comments you made it out of PLA, how strong is PLA to make cosplays as I’m considering getting a 3D printer and just doing research atm
All I can tell you from my experience is that they hold up great on a shelf. I’ve never cosplayed before, so I can’t tell you the durability of it. But I can tell you the plan is to mold it and cast it out of urethane plastic, that way there’s no question of durability
I'm actually going to be keeping the model to myself for my personal use, at least for now. I'll more than likely release it after I mold and cast it, but that might be a year down the road. I highly encourage you to learn modeling yourself though! Really easy and tons of great resources here on UA-cam
Oh don't worry i understand! thanks anyway :p yes, i do 3D modelling too :) but since you've already did it, it would have saved me some hours of modelling lol guess i'm gonna have to model one too haha thanks :)
came to your video through /r/batman. Awesome work. I would love to set up my own 3D printing station. Do you have a background in a tech/mechanical field or did you pretty learn all this stuff on your own?
Thanks so much! Well, I've been modeling with AC3D since I was about 12 (currently 20), though I haven't really gotten to a decent quality of work until maybe in the last 3 years or so. I did take engineering courses in high school where CAD modeling was taught and used all throughout the 4 years I was there. I was also part of a team working with NASA where part of our project was 3D printed, so that was my first experience with actual printing and not just modeling. I think I got a lot of my technical knowledge from all those things, but the actual modeling stuff was more on my own! If there's anything else you want to know just ask :)
Mitch Cowan like I've said in a few different comments below, I made the files just for myself. After I mold and cast some copies of this, I'll release them!
v happy Like I said a few comments down, I'm going to be keeping this file to myself. However! I do encourage you to learn 3D modeling yourself! It's a great tool to have and there's countless tutorials here on UA-cam so it's super easy to learn.
Well the whole plan was to make it myself, mold it, and sell some resin cast copies on the RPF. If I were to release the files, I probably wouldn't sell too many since people could then just make it themselves. I am going to release it after I sell some. Plus! I also highly encourage people to make the model themselves. 3D modeling is a very powerful and useful tool to have under your belt. It's so easy to get started, especially with all the tutorials for different programs on here.
would you ever consider doing tutorial on how to 3d model something like bat helmet? I'd definitely like to watch.
Can i see an actual slow mo restore of your pontiac fiero an what you used to restore an fix an cleaned with
Where can we get that file?! 😱
I'd pay to finally get this done cauz the foam partern that I have doesnt work
very cool, I have a huge batman Collection and all my friends call me Bat. I watched your Fiero Series, will you be uploading any more Fiero Video's?
Yep! There will be 10 videos in total
"Very very so good man amazing job bro" 😉
what are your cura/especially support setting? it will really help
Thanks for talking through your workflow & the programs you used. My kids Halloween is about to be awesome. + subscribed
You're very welcome! I'm glad I could be of help to you. Be sure to show me the costumes when you finish them!
Que configuración usas para imprimir? Muy prolija la impresión y el soporte, no logro que el soporte no me arruine la pieza. Usas el Cura?
Soy nuevo en impresion 3d, que tutoriales me recomiendas para realizar planos? excelente trabajo!!
What was it approx weight...?
Incredible congratulations a consultation, how much filament you used for that helmet, please a kilogram?
I can't say I remember entirely... but I'm fairly certain it was less than a kilogram!
I’m confused it seems like you have a huge 3D printer why not just print it in one go?

Can you release the download of the moddle?

Watch the rest of the series and you'll find out :)
Batman helmet restoration video when? 😓😓🙄
where do u find the 3d model?? i need 3d model of iron man suit :D
+matto951 I made it myself! That was actually the first thing I talked about in the video...
Nice work! looks kickass!!!
is it fun to do or more painfully slow?

What 3d printer do you use?
Just a basic Prusa i3
***** Very nice!
that was awesome
No, you are awesome.
bro what is printer were you using in this video ?
Prusa i3 clone
I can't hear it clearly, so what did you used for dividing the model?
It's called Netfabb! I'll update the description to include that info :)
Wow Awesome! please can you provide the model? it would be Awesome! with all the different parts like you did! please!
I'm actually going to be keeping the model to myself for my personal use, at least for now. I'll more than likely release it after I mold and cast it, but that might be a year down the road.
Are you using PLA?
Yep!
what exactly are the dimensions of the helmet?
I'm actually not sure, I just scaled it to wear it would fit a 3D scan of my head
please share 3d files
DO YOU CANE MAKE PREDATOR MASK ?
I'm sure that I could, but I do not plan on making one
EASY
How do you make it fit you
I measured how wide my head was and scaled accordingly
Nice work🖒🖒🖒! Can you send me youre cura settings? The surface of the helmet is very smooth. I also make 3d prints but aren't so smooth. 😃
Are you selling these helmets? Would you sell the one you made on this video?
Yes! Not the exact one in the video, but the plan is to finish up this one, and then mold and sell plastic casts of it
lonnieldhampton, it will be on the for sale section on the RPF, but I'm still in the process of finishing it! So there won't be a link for a while
stl please
Make a file pls
I did make a file! I couldn’t have printed the helmet without one
Ronald Finger link for the file please. Or maybe you sell some of this??
Lunastra Servatica, watch the rest of the series :)

Wow I have the same exact dinner table. I mean even the same chairs.
please tell me the material
PLA
I WORKED MY ASS OFF TO MAKE ONE OF THESE USING PEPAKURA AND DID NOT EVEN THINK FOR A SECOND TO JUST USE MY 3D PRINTER TO MAKE ONE. I AM PISSSSEEEDDD
Can you link the file?
Mitch Cowan like I've said in a few different comments below, I made the files just for myself. After I mold and cast some copies of this, I'll release them!
Cool
can i get file

I'm not giving it away, sorry!
Why?
