FINALLY!!! Someone points out the batshit insanity of having the guy carve wood figures the whole movie...and then all of a sudden he is in a metal body puppet!
The puppets turned on him because they grew to like Tank, especially after he fixed Pinhead. They owed Tank a debt that they were unable to truly repay.
@@GoodBadFlicks they couldn't until their master (Macgrew in this case) betrayed them. They only ever turn on their master if they feel betrayed. ua-cam.com/video/QJN3wins93s/v-deo.html hey everybody, i interviewed FULL MOON poster Artist LEE MACLEOD, we talk about how this film nearly wasnt made, and all of his posters!!!!
This movie's plot was taken straight from the movie "Ssssss". just like you said...damned silly. Actually now would be a great time to remake that film...snakes sell.
Finally you mention a movie I've seen. I saw SSSSSSS as a child starring Dirk Benedict. I've never had a problem with snakes. But the snake man was my first exposure to body horror and I've avoided it ever since. 🤢
I kinda liked parts 4 and 5 the most, but here too, seeing puppets on the protagonist side for most of the time is kinda pleasant. They don't really make dangerous villains other than Torch, more of stealthy killers. But they do make pleasant henchmen/allies against something else. Plus, having a puppet named Decapitron is an instant win.
Everytime I watch a video by GoodBadFlicks from the late 70's, kickass 80's & awesome 90's, especial horror & comedy, I drop a tear of joy & nostalgia. I love when I see a new video posted & I say "I've never heard of this film." & I start watching then "Wait a minute.... I have seen this, wow, I remember this, I've been looking for this for decades, awesome." said with glee & goosebumps. From all us True 80's Babies & 90's Teens we thank you extremely, thank you.
I remember seeing this cover at the video store and being REALLY confused, thinking the guy on the cover was Rick and the puppets were killing him, hence the “curse” part of the title. Imagine my surprise when I actually saw the movie and realized it had nothing to do with the last one... I was confused why a doctor in what appears to be the south have an almost Brooklyn accent, why a guy who’s main specialty is carving wood turn out to be a metal puppet and why everything seem so cheap. Not my favorite of the Puppet Master movies, but it could always be worse...it could be Puppet Master: The Legacy.
True story: I have a DVD collection of the first 9 movies that mysteriously appeared in my bedroom one day, I have no idea where it came from. It's been years and it's still sitting on my shelf to this day, unopened.
thank you for giving closure on the mystery of why Curse was just SSSSSS script. Even the prop of the snake transformation of that movie is in Magrew's hall.
I Come In Peace, aka Dark Angel, would also be a Good Bad Flick episode, starring Dolph Lundgren as a cop who teams up with a federal agent to track down an Alien Serial Killer on the loose. The plot of the movie is very similar to The Hidden(1987) and Predator 2, both films set in a city.
I always see "Thumbs down" on these videos and I don't understand how anyone could downvote GB Flicks videos. They're just explaining the background on movies and things that went into the making of the movie..
Hell Yeah!! Thank You, Cecil, You Rock!, As per usual, even reviewing this padded-out, silly assed mess , you manage to make it entertaining, much appreciated!
Yes, finally! I loved this one just as much as the first 5. Jane was cute as well. I hope you get to do Puppet Master VS Demonic Toys in the near future!
I love checking the sub count on this channel every few months and see the nice growth. One comment I made years ago asked how you didn't have at least 75k. Doing so well.

@Justin A I love the first one but for me personally only the first four sequels are any good, but they made the same mistake as friday the 13th part 4 with the fifth movie by calling it " The Final Chapter" lol.

I've seen all the Puppet Master movies to date, yet this one I don't remember at all. Certainly seems like a better use of old footage than part 8 was.
I need some help from you film nerds out there. I've been looking for a movie for about 8-9 years now and I can't bloody find it. *Spoilers n stuff.* It's about a dying (from a brain tumor?) former assassin who wants to a last job so he can give the money to his ex wife and child. He gets paired up with a young suicidal man, who lives at a junkyard with his brother. They do their job and gets set up ( like always) and has to get revenge. The movie ends with the younger guy shooting the assassin in the head because he doesn't want to die of the tumour. It might be a French or eastern European movie, but since it was like 15 years ago I saw it, I can't really remember.

You say Pinhead and I can't stop thinking of Hellraiser lol
The puppets turned on him because they grew to like Tank, especially after he fixed Pinhead. They owed Tank a debt that they were unable to truly repay.
