Me watching this and laughing at hearing that it will only take 15-20 minutes. My dense long hair takes hours to do such refresh hence I gave up on refreshing completely! :(
Thank you for this great video, I had the worst washday today as I tried to use the bowl method and now my head is just like a bird nest 💔 I will be doing this tomorrow, thank you again so much 💕
One month into natural hair.. and the answer is yes to all the problems. One dry hair day. One too much frizz so the next one I used too much product. Repeat. I used too much curl cream at my root bc I was so frizzy last wash day. How can I fix this?
both can work! normally wet hair is best for juicy clumps whereas damp hair may give you more frizz but also more volume, so that works well for finer hair types. i like to have my hair wet but not dripping.
I'm sad. I do everything the game as you did, it even looked like yours while wet, but when dry I don't get shrinkage like you did. The curls do not tighten when with the cast. I walk around the house and wait a couple hours after diffusing before I add a little oil and break the casts and am only left with really loose waves that lose definition and appear too soft. I've only been doing this for a few months so maybe it will change with time? Or am I doomed because of my baby fine blonde hair?
This might be for a few reasons: your hair may just have a looser curl pattern, that's totally normal. If you've just started out your hair may be damaged, so it might take more time to get it's natural curl pattern back. It might also be that if you're using heavy products that's weighing your hair down. I can't say for sure, but a few reasons to look out for!
@@curlsbykath 🥰. I have a question I got trim. My hair grew 1 inch in a week after trim but after that it is stuck at 27 inch. What do you think can be the reason? 😭

Really helpful video, thanks!
I'm so glad it was helpful!

Haha absolutely, my hair isn't very dense and I didn't wet it completely so it was really fast! But if I do wash it then it takes much longer!
This was a really fantastic video; very clear explanations and demonstrations. Love it! 😊❤
Thanks mat!!!!

It's really tough at first but keep experimenting and remember to be patient because it doesn't all come back in one month!
When doing actual wash day should product be on damp or really really wet hair. I am new to curls and I see both being suggested..

Great video Kath. I'm so glad you started your own channel. Water is definitely a curly girls best friend. 😍
Thanks Nicky!
I only scrunch no coiling or finger roll. Takes too much time.
I totally understand and I only do it if I really want to control the outcome!
