Wish the mountains here had the cool bike paths you have there. It's mostly dirt hiking paths here. I have to have something really powerful to leave the roads up in the mountains.

Yep sun is defiantly more intense at higher elevation.
I have this bike. When you unlock it(tells you how in the manual) it accelerates!
Even up a steep street hill, it'll go 25mph.
Only issue i might have is the suspension. Off road seems a bit rough, but i may not have it adjusted right. And the recommended tire inflation of 35 seems high. 16:17

I loosened my suspension it's amazing now and 25psi is what I use
