Such a powerful recital! It's nice to play the same program on different organs a few times - every time we learn something about the instrument, about the music and about ourselves.
As Vidas remarks, there is value in hearing the same recital programme played on different instruments and in different acoustics. Both at Bowral and here at St Matthew's, your performance was top notch and I really enjoyed revisiting each piece: bravo, James!
Thank you Graham for taking the time to listen to my programme again. Each performance is unique, just as each organ is unique. The performance is transitory but the recording immortalises it.
Beautiful James!👏👏👏
Brilliant Mendelssohn - loved it! Fantastic sound from well-chosen registration. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I’m glad to hear! Thank you
Your concert on this beautiful organ is once again a special experience. Many thanks dear James and best regards, Roland
Thanks so much for listening.
Your playing is marvelous! Thanks for another fantastic program! 😊🎶😊
The programme would have been better with some Lehenbauer :)

Very true. The more I play them publicly, the more I learn about myself and the music!
Lovely! Well performed and interesting selections, James.
Thank you very much.

Lovely concert James. The Yon couldn't have been written by anyone else, could it? And the Mendelssohn was majestic.
The Yon is a good palette cleanser!
