I tried the lotion and body mist today. I thought of Pure Wonder with additional notes. I’m not getting Luminous or Chasing Fireflies. I’ll try the travel perfume later.
Def try that perfume out. It's less sweet than the cream.
Omg this scent smells just like my grandma in Korea! It has an Asian type patchouli dry down. Nice! 😊

I'm excited for your review and comparison! I'm sorta bummed it's not patchouli heavy. I was hoping for something bold, dark, and seductive. But I guess sweet, fruity, florals are the safe bets.

To me, Platinum is like a baby of Opium ellicit green. I kept thinking this smells like something high end that I have. I sprayed both perfume on a dress in 2 different places and my nose says yes these are similar in a good way. I love platinum, it's not real strong but smells sweet and soft. I'm gonna pair with my opium for sure

@@marymakers update, OMG, I smelled my dress after like 10 hrs or so and the platinum changed. On the drydown almost gave a smokiness, like vanilla romance vibes 😳 I loved how it smelled initially. I'm hoping the ffm/lotion will be different.

I finally figured it out. Took my brain a minute, but its Dior addict. I wore back in the early 2000's. That's exactly what the dry down smells like to me.

Hi Mary! No such Xmas preview here in Canada, but I did look at the U.S. website to take note as to what is to come. So far....I'm feeling "Meh" about everything. I can't wait to get my hands on Platinum. I probably will visit my local store this weekend to possibly pick up the mini EDP perfume if there are any left. Yes, this one is available in Canada as well. Platinum sounds like one I would really love. I'm hearing nothing but good reviews. Thank you for the review as always.

Bought this after work and seeing your review this morning 😊 so as I was writing this comment I realized what this is reminded me of… it’s giving me Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum depending on how the patchouli pulls on the skin and the weather. The toilette is more bright and less patchouli which can be worn in Spring. The parfum is deeper and smells more of patchouli (but not too much)which can be worn during the winter. Which is why Platinum comes off as a scent that can be worn fall through spring. I have both versions and I’m glad I now will have a Platinum’s cream and mist to pair with them. L’Interdit is beast mode so with Paltinum I’ll now be leaving a bigger scent trail which I love cuz the stronger the better!!! I would say they are half siblings. I don’t know why people keep saying platinum smells like fairytale or chasing fireflies??? Not even close imo 😊

The notes on this one sounded so boring to me so I was going to pass it by. But now I'm intrigued...... I tend to wear certain scents in certain seasons and it sounds more spring-like to me in your description. But I'm still driving over there today to probably buy it 😂

This one was an immediate yassss for me! It smells amazing! Ok, so I’m finna add to the weird comparisons on the internet lol. Hear me out though! It’s been a long ass time but it immediately made me think of a throwback perfume I wore in middle or high school lol. Hey mary! Is Victoria's secret rush from the core line still worth buying? It is on sale for $7 which is a never before deal in India! How does it smell like? I saw people saying in fragrantica that it smells like blue cotton candy but still fresh at the same time. I'm into sweet scents but not sultry sharp very perfumy night time fragrances. I didn’t like this one. It just smells basic, generic, and forgettable to me. I don’t really know what to say it smells like except “perfume-ish.” I probably would have liked it more if it were a dark patchouli - like a female version of Vanilla Noir. But I think I have a hard time liking any scents without vanilla. More for you Mary! 😜

@christinhm124 it a nice change for those who's chemistry can go well with spicy scents it doesn't work for everyone and this weather is great for heavy notes like amber /praline/ vanilla's. Moreover the scents they have been coming up with are basically in the same scent family.I hope they don't disappoint us this Christmas, because Victoria's Secrets have been killing the game.Making it happen with Mary BBW is getting lazy and only same to be focusing on sales
I'm gonna back off with Bath And Bodyworks. For me no matter what scent they come out with when it comes to floral, woodsy, sweet etc they all for some reason share the same DNA and i don't like that. Same goes for VS they all share a certain trate, there's only a few that can pass of wow but the rest are a no go..

@marymakers no sadly they had tester in store and it was like a pepper perfume then she said it's like thousand wishes which I also dislike but it didn't smell like pepper it was just too high pitched of a scent for me and I saw no resemblance
