I saw Jiyuna text something but didn’t get the context. The problem is people don’t play but talk. Both are fantastic games and I wish I played more BBCF.
Be patient with matchups in this game- if someone owns you online with a strategy, there is probably a way around it. Play with instant block, faultless defense, 6p and the burst bubble shield I forget the name
It is interesting how most haters think HC players are still carried after all the nerfs he received. Goldlewis, Slayer, May, Sol and Johnny carry you in ways Chaos will never do. Try climbing the tower with the blue guy... It is not that easy. Jack carries his Chaos like Walter carries his Millia. Despite the fact I hate Millia, I watch Walter play and I often catch myself rooting for him, because I respect the player and the skills he shows. Stop downplaying Jack's effort, he is a top 6 at Evo, after all.
Yeah I think happy Chaos is definitely a difficult character to play, but it's also true that he's insanely powerful. People mainly just get mad because he hardcore breaks the rules of the game. Jack is goated but I wouldn't say he carries HC, because in the right hands the character is still great. Clone nerf or not.
It's funny people are discussing Ram bans because her sword throw "breaks the game" when HC has literally had the same level of broken bullshit baked into his kit from day 1. Like yeah he can't infinite zone you anymore, but he still has essentially 6 prcs on lock that he can use to skip neutral, convert off anything, extend pressure, do standing mix, and also zone competently, if not better than the other zoners. He'll be a top 3 character forever until they either add even more broken characters or actually nerf gunshot versatility.
The damage for Iron Savior and j.D on Millia has been buffed. I've gotten kills off those moves where I was genuinely surprised 'cause they wouldn't have gotten a kill before.

I love Hotashi, one of my favourite creators in the fighting game community, but you can tell commentary isn't his forte. He's too quiet and lax, there's no energy; maybe that's because of his criminal distaste of Johnny, but it's damning. On the other hand, maybe I'm just used to Backpabrawl when it comes to Strive

Pretty stupid statement, considering that they often compare characters who have to "spend resources for X" against the one's who can do it for free, as if Johnny's pressure wasn't fake and his damage mediocre without meter. Meanwhile, the DP-RC heroes of the world were able to challenge wake up pressure safely, WWA was a gauranteed, plus on block neutral skip and many other offenders. But no... Johnny's just as good as those characters, if he just had a good dash. Okay...

Listening to Hotashi complain about Johnny's dash when he made a living off of Nago's command dash in S1 is some peak commentary.
It was irritating to go through with hotashi ngl,the other commentator was much more informative & enjoyable to listen too
