"Sayonakidori" = Nightingale. It's Miku's take on Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. In the play, one can hear the nightingale's song drifting through evening scenes. The Nightingale reference is "Juliet mistakes the lark's song for the nightingale's, hoping that her evening romance with Romeo can continue. Romeo corrects her and departs her bedroom at dawn". Miku usually gets one song per album where she takes lead vocals.

During their concerts they give Saiki a chance to rest her voice by playing an instrumental song and one with Miku singing lead (usually "Sayonakidori" electric version, sometimes "Rock In Me" or "Time"). Kanami plays on these and sings backup. This is followed by Miku's Omajinai Time (magic spell time), hyping the audience for the remainder of the concert. There are examples of these in fancams on other channels.

We love them all, but Miku (Vocals- Sayonakidori/Nightingale)- It's all about Romeo and Juliet- just a genius.

Miku typically has one song on each album that she sings lead on.

Both songs are from Band-Maid's Christmas Concert on the 25th of December 2021 ! It was a live stream during Covid 19 which turned into a full DVD ! They redid some of their songs to acoustic which sounds better to me =) Nice Reaction btw Sayonakidori means Nightingale

The three rhythm section members performed two Miku songs. Other combinations on the day included Saiki (Vo) + Kanami (LG), a trio with Misa (Ba), and Saiki + Miku (G) + Akane on cajon.

Akane-san uses Hot Rods for this concert.

On just about every album, there is one song in which Miku is the lead vocals and Saiki gets a break.
As for this particular performance.... these were two of 14 songs performed in a livestream on December 25, 2021. Several songs had all 5 band members.... but some were just Saiki and Kanami, some where Saiki-Kanami-Misa, two were Akane-Misa-Miku, and one was Saiki-Miku-Akane.

Ironic that you mention drummers having to use different equipment in acoustic sets. Akane is using those rodded sticks that you mentioned for this show. Misa's bass is also brand new at this time. It was purposely "distressed" at the factory to give it that road-worn look.
Also, give the studio versions a listen as well. TOTALLY different vibe than the acoustics.
