Sooo much enthusiasm. your a pioneer for the car. You can show your driving skills when you take to the track competitively later this year. No TC in a race car.
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial they are but they are prone to rust 😭metal is less than a mil thick, they also have abs pump issues, control units in Devon can sort that out for 300ish only two things I hated about mine was the window rattle and the screen wash, I miss mine in many ways, who ever has mine has a good car 😂.abs pump done, welding done with 2ml plate, irriduim plugs, brake lines done.mine ate lower ball joints.i had mine for four years lovely peppy engines.mine had a peculiar habbit of not starting sometimes it would always but it took 5 cranks. 😂
Just bought my 5 speed Mazda 2 about 2 weeks ago. I’ve only got my beginners license so far so I don’t get to drive it as much as I’d like to so these videos are great to watch. Keep it up.
I miss mine in many ways they love to be revved, I would put irriduim plugs in it mate 😉 I did with mine. Apart from the abs module never had any engine issues.sg57 yrn keep giving good service and fun, who ever has mine now has a good 2 I replaced the braklines, it was welded up with 2 ml steel plate. should last a few more years, sold it because I bought a Mondeo Titanium X
"I was racing a bmw" "no I wasn't mum or dad" lol Surprised with the performance of it, 8.8 seconds 0-60 with 101bhp? Epic! My mazda 3 1.6 with 104bhp does the 0-60 in around 10.5-10.7
Haha can't be risking getting into trouble now. Tbh I think if I used a proper GPS then the time would of been more around the 9 - 10 second mark, but for now I'll take it lol.
Bruv I can't figure how you got an 8.8 0-60. I also got a Mazda 2 but I have the 1.3MZR with 84hp and it feels like it can't reach 60mph in under half an hour. Completely stock btw but the speed throughout turns is insane really
Tbh I think if I used a proper GPS the 0-60 time would be a little higher lol. If you are looking for more power out of these cars, you’ll want the engine breathing as much as possible before remapping. Installing a Mazda 3 1.6 throttle body and different manifold / exhaust system, you can get nearly an extra 20hp after a stage 1 remap. Really these cars are momentum cars. You want to be focusing on mods that give these cars the highest possible cornering speeds. A good set of tyres, rear anti roll bar and coilovers are a good starting point for handling mods👍🏻
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial Got one today. 1.3 2009 tomorrow picking the t up from dealer then strand get to mechanic to check it out. What needs to be done as the first rat please?
Hey bro! Just watched your first video on your new car, just wanna say congrats! Also, where did you buy those mazda belt covers? They look so sick, saterday im gonna be looking to buy my own mazda 2 and i'd love to have a pair of those
i was considering an old 2 for my first car, unfortunately my arms are shorter than the average man, making shifting to 1st and 3rd slightly awkward when the knob is on the dash... fortunately a problem that is solved on the newer gen😁
I can imagine with the interior being a bit more bulky in the newer models everything probably does sit a bit closer to you. Glad to hear the newer Gen solved the issue👍🏻
They’re good overall, smooth and comfortable enough. In terms of road noise, I’d say it’s fairly average for a small hatchback. Also, when doing long trips you have the peace of mind that the car is extremely reliable. It’s nice when travelling hundreds of miles knowing you’re in a car with a bullet proof engine.
Just bought my first car a mazda 2 ts2 and i love watching ur vids cant wait too see the mods
Hope you enjoy your new car! Thank you so much😁
Im about to buy that car, how has it been owning it?
