We have a QT Ez8 CNC Lathe, do you know how I can program a Royal Grip-x claw bar puller as a macro program using argumentative callout to designate bar stock size, length of pull, etc. and would this be switching to an EIA sub callout program?

Yes. There is a letter “A“ in the upper right corner of the PROGRAM page where you can control the font size. Please contact your nearest Mazak Technical Center for support if you have more questions.

Realistically, the T-plus control was the best(and still is) control that mazak had for lathes. It was fast and simple. Nothing fancy, just simple. Now these controls are just bloated with BS. Do you need to see 3d graphics for a lathe? No. Do you need all of the extra safety features on a lathe? No. Now it takes 3x longer to troubleshoot a setup than it does to program. A complete waste of time and money.
sounds like you never used a new Mazatrol control or you'd know your comment is total BS ha ha ha
I can do this literally in the same time in Fanuc in classic G code with canned cycles.... I have a program "EVERYTHING" in my two lathes in work, when I need to make some parts that I don´t have a program for I just copy everything (I have all canned cycles pre defined, G70, G71, G72, G75, G76) I need to the front, change X, Z, S, F, Q, etc. and get a program... in 10 minutes, without having an issue with getting in all correctly from the beginning..
the T plus has the actual TOOL showing during tool path graphics? what year is your control ?

during graphics /check part shape you only see a red triangle whereas in Okuma (IGF) you have the actual tool
@@christophercolumbus8944 The TPlus showed the tool as described in tool data. I think the TPlus came out around 1995. Not really sure.
