- So I got the absolute privilege to watch this @MazakCorporation make this really nice part when I visited the @eCERATIZIT Technical centre in Sheffield.
This was programmed by Adrian Smith from Openmind using Hypermill.
Using all @eCERATIZIT tooling to make such a piece! I’d like to say art !
The music at the start is just trying to cover our talking 😂

Good to see this part lives on. Was a demo piece for Mazak from 2011. Imagine what hyperMILL can do now ;-)

Good to see this technology I'm living in Iran and programmer of power mill and the last technology of Iran is 5 axis CNC machine I hope this machines and their science will come to Iran😔😔😔

Peter Stanton at Edge Precision documented his build of a gopro case that he uses in his machines; it works very well indeed.
You also only need to buy a roto cam that works better because it has a rotation glas on the cam

Why not just turn the face at the begining? Goes faster, you're using a turning tool after anyway.
This whole par was just to demonstrate the machine but also ceratizit tooling.

You need one of those magnetic glass cleaners like you get on fish tanks so you can wipe the glass..!!
Dyeing the coolant dark red is also a must
That would of made life alot easier.
Unfortunately dont work. Machine tools have double glass, plastic and glass ,... magnetic cleaners don t work😢

I work on an old Mazak 200Y, Mazatrol 640MT controls. The tool holders are different for me than the HSK-63 holders. What are they in this video?
The deburring of the barrel and the shape of the claw, how is that programmed, workshop control, or ISO?

Im not 100% sure on this video but i always used pennine lubricants X777 !
this is how i like mill turn most.
I Love this machine !!
I always bring my tool into the bore and start the HP coolant before feeing into the cut, also a small dwell on the large machines ensures the coolant is at full pressure before engaging the tool. I cant stand seeing the HP coolant just BLAST the tool changer door and people wonder why they have tool changing hang ups.
