cool to see Panther Hobbies & Trains.... one of the few hobby shops that has "survived the ages" and one which I visited many times in my younger days.... thanks for sharing.
Cool. You can give a second chance and possible a better life to those cars. Impossible to keep a new one in pristine condition if you are gonna run them. Great idea of buying used cars. 👍 and nice store too.
Hi Massimo, Great video. I like the fact that you are making videos where the viewer is taken to a hobby shop. Its different from the standard videos. That is a cool shop. That Porsche 917 is a great buy .
Very cool hobby shop you have to go to Massimo, thanks for taking us along! By contrast, my local hobby shop has only one 1/32 scale slot car available lol. Nice cars you picked up too! Love both of them. You can never go wrong with a Porsche 917K, and I really like the black on that Ferrari 458! Cool stuff!!
Im in a town of 120,000 in the city, maybe 50,000 in the outlying area, there isnt one slot car or slot car part in any shop around here. Ive put queries out on CL, and so far no response. Maybe I have the one and only slot car track running here......in Nor Cal.
Thanks for coming along with me Dave! Glad you enjoyed it. Ah lol that’s not cool 😩 Yeah I love the 917ks in both scales, the Ferrari livery is nice, something different. Cheers my friend, Merry Christmas
Bro first of all love your channel. Thanks for all the awesome videos. I’m from chicago and just ordered some hard to find stuff from that shop. Ed and Alex were fantastic. Again thank you if it was not for this video probably never would’ve found it!!!!!
Hi brother, thank you very much! That’s amazing I’m glad you found some things you needed and supported theses guys, they’re honestly awesome! Cheers brother!
What incredible finds (and on SALE????!!!!) from an incredible store! Did you see if they had any room in the storage area so that I could set up a bed and LIVE THERE, Lol! Enjoy those beautiful cars!
Wow, Mo! Nice grab! Congrats on that. The store has a lot of Carrera stuff. Awesome. I wished we had a store like this here in Bremen. Sadly we don`t. There is only one store left, way in the north of Bremen and he has just a little bit of Carrera. He mainly sells Modell Kits and Trains and what not. By the way, I got a recipe for you, to make your own glue. Check this out. I know you love Pasta, right? What do you do with the boiled Pasta water? Do you poor it into the sink? Oh, porca miseria! Don`t do it! This is, what you do with it: Take 0,2 Liter of the Pasta Water and mix it with 60 Gramms of Flour. Stir it up and cook it. Afterwards, let the thick mass cool off. Than put it into an air-tight glas, or tube You can let children use it, too. It is not harmful to them. ;-) Try it out, it works and is nearly for free, because you should have Flour and Salt in your kitchen! There are so many things and recipees I got, by using the Pasta water. Believe me, it is a waiste to poor the Pasta water into the kitchen sink. 🙂
Mr. Bo! Thanks brother. Yeah I remember you telling me there isn’t much of a selection there. That’s unfortunate 👎🏼 Oh wow I have lots of pasta water to try that with haha! That’s such a cool idea, I’m going to give it a go! Thanks for sharing brother!
@@MPSlotCar Always a pleasure! It will probably not be as good as super glue, but for wood parts it should do the job. If not, use wood glue instead. But use wood glue, that does not switch the color, like Titbond does, after drying. It should change to white, or transparent. Wood glue, you can produce yourself, too. But not with Pata water 🙂 You may google that, how to ;-)
I drive from Montreal to Panther cause of the selection and those guys are always awesome to talk to. Ray has some great stories of back in the day. Great vid and congrats on those times. Your track is looking amazing.
Holy that’s a drive! I complain about the 45-50 min drive it is for me lol. They really are a fun bunch there, always chat it up, very friendly and yeah lots of stories lol. Cheers brother ✌🏼🏁
What a wonderful model shop .it would be a dream for me to have a shop like that in Latvia .we dont even have one in the entire country 😒. I'm liking those 124 cars more and more and can certainly see some on my track next year .thanks for posting massimo 🤗
@@MPSlotCar impossible to find a shop so far ...nothing and I'm nearly 3 and a half hours from the city ,some day I might drive to all the toy stores and see if I can find something 🙃
Bought my first NINCO slot car set there in 1999..Was there last Friday for the first time in 15 years.Felt like a kid in a candy store.Need to go back when i have more time to shop.Che bella Ferrari !
Oh nice! Haha I use to go more often, it has to have been a year-ish since I’ve been. Everything time I go, same thing…kid in a candy store. Only now I don’t have to ask: “can I get this can I get that?” Well actually I guess kinda, still have to ask the wallet 😅
Awesome hobby shop there, Massimo!! I agree with Dave_S below, only a handful of 1/32 scale cars at my closest hobby shop and definitely no 1/24s...😭 Wish there were more shops out there like this, especially with that much selection of track pieces, wow! Great video man and great cars! 👋🤘
Thanks brother, yeah I wish there were more hobbies shops that offer slot car items worldwide. Hopefully the hobby continues to grow and maybe one day it will be like that 🤞🏼
Nice find! 917K's are always good runners. Oddly I got 2 917K's in 1/32 from Ali Express..............both run like scalded apes.....for about 10 laps or so. Then they slow down, to the point where they either stop or just about stop. Both? WTH? If I pull em off the track, set it back on track, usually the car will take off again as fast as ever....Sometimes it will run longer after that. Like maybe 30 laps, then it slows down. The motor doesnt feel hot. So I suppose both came with bad chips? I wonder if anyone else has had this happen? 2 Cheetahs I got from Germany, both had the chips die quickly, both have rattly slow motors. Said to be new and look new.
Thanks Brad! Woh really? Maybe it’s an issue with a batch of chips?🤔 That’s so odd. I’ve had about 3 Carrera cars crap out on me. 2 of them were new and didn’t even last the duration of a review video 😤. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw/maybe QC were off the days the these cars left the factory 🤷🏻♂️
Catching up on vids Mass. this is great. Question. When you built your track did you put the track on foam board or directly to plywood? Thanks. Great vid

Haha same, I don’t think I’ve ever left empty handed 😂
