Hello fam, Make sure post notifications are on so you don’t miss the finally part of my cruise series that will drop in a few days! It’s epic!!!! I will be giving you guys a Subaru update amongst other things real soon. I will also do a Q&A video. If you have any questions that you would like me to answer during that video, drop it in the comment section of this video. Also, how I film this Alaskan cruise reflects the kind of person I am. I’m a loner and I’ve always been that and I’m in Introvert . I don’t do cruise ship activities so you wont see any of that in my videos but if you want to know what the Cruise activities are and a full tour just UA-cam it. PS: I didn’t share my food on this trip because I had to make sure it was good first. I can’t have my fam eating bad food. I’ll be sharing my food if I ever decide to do another cruise in the future 😉.
Can you even believe you are there? Wasn't all that long ago that you were just living your life in Michigan, working your tail off at a job. And now just look at you and where you are! Amazing! Thanks for sharing this beautiful journey with us all.
Love your channel, Nomi. You must have been hungry this morning....didn't even share the cornbeef hash and eggs...😂. I usually take a bite when you offer😅😊
Thanks for sharing Nomi! My mom & cousin were on the same cruise. They stayed in a suite, 11th deck. Happy to know EVERYONE made it back safely. She expressed they had an awesome time. I was hoping to see them in your videos😂. Welcome back and looking forward to your next adventure🌺
Alaska was and is the most magical trip I’ve ever experienced. I dreamed of it for years and when I finally stepped on that cruise ship I cried tears of joy. It rained every day and I didn’t even care because I was so grateful for the experience. Everyone needs to go once. I’m definitely going back.
My client went on an Alaskan cruise last year. It was her retirement gift to herself 🎉 She expressed the same sentiments as you. She's never been emotional about anything for the past 7 yrs I've known her. However, when she talked about that cruise, tears were welling in her eyes. I wanna go too!
You have said it just right. Alaska is “out of this world” ironically. We’ve booked for our second round. Couldn’t get enough of such fresh atmosphere. We loved it there! 🙏🏾
So much wonder in your voice when you see new things!!!! You make everything interesting. If I ever go on a cruise, I will follow your example and take the stairs. Great excercise.
That National Geographic boat is a cruise as well!! Not cheap but worth the experience!! Less people, better experiences and you still get top notch treatment like on Princess!! Highly recommend and they’re all over the world!!
All I can say is WOW!!!! Thank you so much it's just beautiful. I've never had a desire to go on a cruise but after seeing this Alaska cruise I think I've changed my mind.
I took the 13 night turnaround cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Italy, You will LOVE IT!!!!!! I hope your cruise stops at Palma de Majorca in Spain- beautiful! I was a little nervous at first because you are in international waters but the crew does a great job of entertaining you and helping you have a good time- enjoy ! I would do it all over again in heartbeat ❤
I agree me too I've been too many cruises and I want to do a solo but I get afraid being by myself but seeing this episode I think I'm going to grab one and try it a solo Cruise for 2025
I went on an Alaskan cruise but honestly I am from BC and didn’t find it super impressive. We are spoilt in Vancouver with Whistler mountain, waterfalls, hikes that will take your breath away. Then you can drive to the interior and see the most beautiful mountains and lakes.
As an Alaskan, I have to say that Juneau is s great place to visit and visit only. As a tourist they love you and treat you like gold BUT if you’re thinking of moving there, don’t tell anyone. I took the ferry from Bellingham in 1998 with intentions of living in Juneau, I had lived in Alaska back in the 80’s as well and wanted to try Juneau out. The locals treated me great until I told them I was moving there…oh boy. BIG mistake. They got mean and flat out told me “Don’t move here! Don’t you dare move here and take one of our jobs away from us! You’d better just move on, we don’t want you here. Go home!” I’m not exaggerating either. It was ugly and it was EVERYONE I talked too. I stayed one night and caught the next ferry to Skagway and drove into Anchorage. Still in Anchorage today. It’s definitely worth visiting but don’t try to stay, lol!
I know what you mean! A harsh environment, isolated....They want to know that a newbie isn't going to be a liability. Plus the jobs thing--I think the cruises are probably the biggest employer in a place like that.
Beautyful landscape ❤ thank you for taking us along! I don't think that there are algeaes on trees and stones in the woods but moss ?? Take care and enjoy!
I'm living vicariously through you. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. You are traveling to places I would love to go. If National Geographic hired you, they would be lucky.❤
Thank you for sharing this journey with us, I have mobility issues and can’t move over different distances and different terrain so I am extremely grateful for you sharing this experience with me 👊🏾.
I am a bit surprised that ships are cruising so early to Alaska. I thought they didn't start cruising the passages until May when they know the temps have warmed. Alaska is simply gorgeous. When I was in Juneau I took the tram to the top of the mountain - the view from there is simply spectacular. Thanks for sharing Nomi. Blessings to you 🙏🙏🙏
Glad you enjoyed Alaska. A cruise is a great introduction to the state. Because you see things from a different perspective. The inside passage is beautiful. We take things for granted at times. Glad you're not one to realize this. Enjoy our travels.
I had the same reaction as you the first time i cruised to Alaska - takes your breath away! You are so right - it doesn't get any better than this. Mother Nature at her best!
Went to Alaska via Seattle and took Princess Discovery also. Went to Ketchikan to the Forest training camp where they train dogs for sled riding. We got a ride on a huge golf cart that seats 8 people and 14 dogs took us on a fast tour thru the forest. They can fly like the wind. 200.00 but worth it. We bonded with the dogs and their puppies. Loved it. They are called musher dogs and every year they have dog races.
Great video, Nomadic Introvert: I'm glad you're enjoying Juno, including your Alaskan Cruise. Before I booked my Alaskan Cruise, for last year pre cancelation stage. I price checked the onboard excursions in comparison to solo excursions. The pricing was the same either way, the difference with booking an onboard excursion verses a solo excursion. The onboard excursions tended to offer more for my money, with amenities such as lunch and a guarantee the ship would wait, if anything happened to the transportation. Whereas the solo excursion may or may not offer a lunch, including being stuck for the bill to try to get to the next port, if anything happened to the transportation while on the solo excursion. While I'm glad that you are enjoying your meal. If I was taking a cruise in Alaska, I would tend to wait until I went back to the ship before having a meal, everything there is extremely pricey.-Happy trails
That is true. While I was in Juneau, they were yelling out that they were giving discounts on the excursions there. But what you said is completely true as well. If you book on board and the excursion is canceled you get your money back and there’s a lot of amenities.
Did that hike in the snow with my daughter. The lake was frozen over and it wS beautiful indeed. When I lived there, we still couldn't cover all of the trails. Sooo many❤❤❤❤
This trip is sooooo much fun! I can’t believe how beautiful Alaska is when you were hiking that glacier trail. And then when you added the music for the waterfall, I got chills it was so majestic. If I ever get a chance to cruise Alaska, I will do it! Thank you so much for taking us with you!
It's such a beautiful place and with you showing the peaceful part of Alaska, it kinda makes you forget about all the terrible things that are going on around the world, thanks for taking us away from the chaos for a moment.
You should go to Vancouver Island as they have a rain forest. Tofino , Port Renfrew are my favourite places to go to when I see my sister . Legit places out there took my breath away!
I was on that same ship in January! You have picked a good one, the food, entertainment and staff. Love that you share with us on the daily. Safe travels God Bless

Hey NoMi! So glad you're having an awesome time on your trip. Thanks again for your service and this channel. No idea when I might be getting up to Alaska, but one day, I sure would like to. My late dad used to cruise there every year, and it always made him very happy. Bright blessings. 💖
