I think Baiken calls May a "shorty short" to emphasis their Japanese heritage. To Baiken May can be viewed as the closet thing to family seeing as the Japanese were virtually wiped out. So in a sense May is Baiken's "little sister", her "chibisuke".

it actually does make some sense that Baiken would call Potemkin useless when we consider that Gabriel is the only person that Slayer's ever considered a rival.
potemkin without limiters can beat the shit out of basically every single character in the franchise, the act of clapping his hands knocked down a battalion of gears. There's a reason to why he's Gabriel's right-hand man, and why Gabriel trusts him.

I feel that Baiken taking a jab at May is because May is the only other women in the cast who is shorter than Baiken. And she also takes one at Millia because they both have long hair, so of course Baiken think's hers is better.
I just love these kinds of videos. I love basically every single character, so hearing them be the announcers let’s them show even more personality than they already do normally.

Great video and series, really sucks that translation videos need to be made at all. At least 650 character-unique voice lines in the character select screen alone and yet arcsys will charge half the price of the base game for system voices without any proper subtitles.
