it's a no brainer. steve's statement means there are 3 options: the body was cleaned by the janitor (which is not the case since junk's body appeared on the screen in the beginning of the meeting), the body was transported (which was disproved by hafu and kimi's claims, the transporter wouldn't have enough time to transport twice due to the cooldown), or the body was dragged away from the crime scene. well, there's option 4: steve lied (unlikely) or unreliable (likely). so it's simply about whether you believe his testimony or not lol. the crewmates used process of elimination and deduced there's an undertaker in the game. voi la.

This game proves that Steve has zero short-term memory (he tried to hit the button twice and didn't even realize) while Hafu has excellent short term-memory (she remembered that there was an Undertaker from the first round).
Also, the game loves Detective Steve!
I think he should get checked out. You should *absolutely* have longer short-term-memory retention than what Steve consistently shows.

Poor Dumbdog haha, he was so close from a snitch W. I don't think 5up could have killed him in time either because he was running away through specimen and 5up wasn't in a position to snipe vent kill.
20:57 to be fair, I think DumbDog should have booked it straight into specimen - instead of going left a bit towards the entrance to labs. If 5up decided to vent in, he could have killed DumbDog from bathroom.
5up didn’t take the most efficient path, so it wouldn’t have mattered. But had there been no arsonist and 5up immediately vented into MedBay, dumbDogs pathing would have been sloppy

I think so too, and since there is still an “arsonist” around the rest of the crew would try to figure that out. However it gets trickier because 5up can’t kill bc a single kill would out that there is still an imposter. And if that’s the case it proves his lie of snitch false. So it goes down to getting Steve out as “the arsonist” at 5, then either going on a killing spree or trying to talk it out at 4 and vote another out and winning the game. It’s a bold move and a lot of things would have to work out at the end. But it might’ve been his best shot after being called out in several rounds.

yeah they're playing more to just hang out than to win which is great, people are getting less salty at lucky calls or whatever
Why is Scott surprised that he got voted there? He himself cleared Gumi, Gumi soft cleared Hafu on two rounds, Hafu cleared Ovilee, and Ovilee cleared Steve. At that point it was between him and 5UP. It was 50-50 between him and 5up; obviously 5up voted for him, while Hafu and Ovilee followed Gumi's vote on him too. He was the logical choice for arsonist since he was next to Gumi as well as a dead body while claiming that someone exploded next to him while Gumi rejected that. I am confused by his confusion cuz he's smarter than to be confused there, and I'm rattled because Dumbdog entertained his silly confusion.

i think the logic in accusing smajor as arsonist is that you have to be near one of your targets to burn them. and with everyone else not near anyone, feel that the self report was a sabotage to himself

im glad gumi called scott as arsonist...if its not steve/ovilee, and hafu/5up were in spec a whole round, and scotts reporting the arsonist kill right in front of her, he is a high suspect since he's right next to the person to ignite and doing in front of someone is reason for a self-report. I'm genuinely confused as to why 5up/hafu didnt sus him right away.

actually, he does this a lot! its his style of impostor. he focuses more on talking well in the meetings than on being in a good location during the round, so he regularly uses his partner for a clear/will offer a clear to his partner if he thinks they'll need it

Well, scott is the only person that was seen near a body, and 5up is already being sussed from previous rounds, and all other crew are clear. She is sure there is an arsonist, but she is more sure 5up will be voted out in the next round so scott is the best vote.

All these viewers forget that among us is 50% deduction and 50% persuasion, because y'all just backseat the deductions without having to think about the persuasion part.

That is not true. Not entirely true per say , I feel like he does get more sus ,because he is 5up , but also a lot of his fans watch only his perspective and think he always does good kills and gets sussed for no reason. You said he did inanely well and got sus for no reason , but let's take other ppl's perspective for example.
1) Steve buttons and reveals there might be an undertaker and the kill happened next to lab. --> He has no reason to do that if he is imposter --> this makes him a little less likely to be impostor if he is right.
2) 5up's alibi is Koji.
3) Koji gets shot by Ellum and Ellum gets assassinated -> confirming he was indeed sheriff.
4) Hafu spends a few rounds around Ovilee and trusts her --> Ovilee backing up Steve , saying he could've killed her multiple times makes Steve extra clear , as well as Ovilee , because if she was impostor , she would've also killed Steve those times.
5) DumbDog always having an alibi and saying exactly when DK died and that he was medic. --> Impostors don't reveal that kind of info ,because they always want you to think an impostor could be dead , so him saying a crewmate died is a very crew thing , he has 0 reason to reveal that info if he was impostor.
6) Kimi is obviously clear all game , even Janet cannot put sus on her , even though she was her exe.
7) Janet being in specimen 3 rounds confirmed by other ppl.
So 5up's alibi for 1st kill is basically Koji , who is confirmed bad. And for the DK kill 5up deflects with info about being teleported , but no one speaks up. He was indeed teleported ,but no one said anything.. So his 2nd alibi is also not good , just something that no one can confirm.
If Scott ignited while Hafu and 5up were in spec together , I feel like that would've been good for him , but it didn't happen.. It's hard being solo impostor , because you can't build trust with other crew ,because no one is dying. Anyway he did well , considering his partner got taken out round 2.

I got REALLY curious about the Gumi thing and decided to check out "her perspective." It's called "RAHHH! fundraiser" exactly at 24th minute and 5th second.
But anyways, Gumi did see kimmi's body standing and lied about it. The only way out of this one for her is that she has "a bad eyesight and didn't SEE IT," but I obviously won't buy that with her history of... "seeing things wrong and using that against them and they DO happen to be bad roles."

Then she said "I think Scott may be arso because he came from the area of Janet's body." Then on the next round she said "The reason I thought Scott was arso was because he came from the area of Janet's body." What is the issue? She missaw the Kimi kill, but the Janet evidence was what she used.

I had to watch it multiple times to even notice Kimi at all because she's only visible for a few frames. I guess the fact that Gumi was investigator and was focused on the footprints isn't a factor in her not seeing it? she had to be lying about never seeing Kimi? You never even see Kimi's footprints at all on her screen. This is a really dumb "gotcha"

Sometimes when she just KNOWS what role someone is like that seemingly out of nowhere, I feel she actually has a good reason to assume someone is some role, but sometimes it does look like she just reads chat and is cheating, and I agree this is an example of the latter.

Initially I thought she just realized that the arsonist can only ignite if theyre on a doused person, however no one seemed to even bring that up? And her explination didnt make sense to me.
I know you don't care about the reason and only want to spread rumours, but Gumi's accusation made perfect sense if you listen to what she says. She saw Scott come from Janet and report Kimi, so he either killed Janet or Kimi (or was mega framed).
The reason dead chat was perplexed was because 4 people voted him before he had a chance to defend himself, which is annoying but not Gumi's fault at all.

The funny thing is you can go back to any vod when Hafu and 5up were tryharding (in 2020) and see that they used to do the same thing. They'd only briefly explain the accusation but say it very confidently and get the impostor voted out.
