  • A number of you asked me for this video so here it is. Kwacoco Bible recipe is the very first recipe I ever posted on my blog so I'm a little emotional here considering how far I've come. Thank you all for always watching!

    I just want to say you are heaven sent. So talented. I’m still learning how to make more traditional Cameroonian food and I’ve been learning by watching your videos. I’ve done your African pancake recipe twice now and my family loved it. Thank you SO much. God bless you my dear. ❤️❤️

    Well done dear , this is well done except for the fact that the red oil doesn't need to be heated before putting on. My humble opinion from the natives in Buea ,they do enjoy natural red oil.

    • @PreciousKitchen
      @PreciousKitchen  7 років тому

      Hi Cynthia, I think it was too watery. Next time reduce the water you add or don't add water at all.

    • @PreciousKitchen
      @PreciousKitchen  4 роки тому

      Check Asian stores. If there are Asian stores around you , I think you will find the cocoyams and banana leaves. Here in the US, macabo coco is labeled as "taro" and banana leaves are sold frozen. I get both from Asian stores. Please let me know if you find them.

      Gis T. that's why I'm here - to make you do things in America 😂😂
      Hunt Asian stores for banana leaves. You may want to ask one of the workers there to help you find it. If no luck, just go with aluminum foil.

    • @haouamartin2860
      @haouamartin2860 4 роки тому +1

      @@karotanebi3970 ce n'est pas du manioc !
      C'est une variante du taro ,qu'on trouve généralement dans les magasins Chinois
      C'est un tubercule de la même famille que le taro ,d'ailleurs les 2 plantes sont identiques.
      Au Cameroun ,l'un est appelé taro ,et l'autre ,Macabo !
      Dans cette recette, il s'agit du macabo.
      J'en ai jamais vu en France.
      A la cuisson, la consistance du macabo se rapproche à celle de l'igname ! Tandis que le taro est assez mou et gluant !
      Ces 2 légumes n'ont rien à voir avec le manioc .ni la plante, ni le tubercule.
      J'espère vous avoir aidé à y voir clair !
