- Trying out a new pomade, shave creme and soap from Suavecito, a local grooming store here in Orange County, California. My first visit to the store where I got to purchase some cool premium products that I will be using in today's video review.

Does the Whiskey Bar shave cream have a "cooling" property to it?
@@ABHORRANCE831 I know the aftershave splash has a nice touch f menthol, nothing heavy. The shave soap I can't remember. I don't have the soap handy right now, my son loved it so much, he took it to college with him. I think it's just a non-menthol shave soap, but to me, it smells fantastic.

Great episode, Ken! I have Suavecito's Bay Rum aftershave. I don't have enough hair on my head to use pomade, but I appreciate them nonetheless. The cream looks like an emollient rich, luxurious lather. I can't wait to try.

Excellent video, I'm from Las Vegas and have made the trip to their home store twice, always worth it! I tried their first foray into shave cream, but didn't like the lather, looks like they've made some great improvements since then!

Great video Ken, I have the Suavecito vanishing cream and i love it. I wasn't familiar with the shave cream and aftershave, I am definitely going to be ordering some. That straight on their site looks pretty nice too. Keep up the great work. If you ever have a chance check out an aftershave balm by JS Sloane. It is a balm with menthol and alcohol and is very very fresh. it is a great product, one of my top 2 or 3 aftershaves. Thanks again!

I really recommend looking into "home brew" pomades. Some great companies I recommend are Ace Authentic, Lockhart's, and Big Slick. They all make pomades in a matte finish that last a long time.
This dry look of pomade is much better than wet hair. I agree with you. Nice hair -style. Awesome and some badass.)) Cream in metal tube is very classic stuff.) Very good. Fantastic store.

I rub creams into my face and head and then face/head lather. Seem to get much better results than bowl lathering. Great looking store, nothing like that near me. I used OSP spice road cream with my new RazoRock 400 synthetic brush and a 70'clock yellow(sharpedge) in my Futur on 2. Feeling great. Love this hobby soooo much. Ken, next time you stop into Suavecito, pick up some of their postshave balm. I use the tea tree version because it doesn't contain added fragrance to compete with my aftershave. It's affordable and effective. It goes on a little oily, but absorbs in minutes, leaving my face feeling smooth.

I have a few oil based pomades but it's a pain in the butt to wash out. I tried a matte clay and it gives me the style I like without needing 3 showers to wash out 👍

Ken...I am curious about the Sandalwood scent. Can you let us know how it compares to Proraso, Art of Shaving or Taylor of Old Bond? Thanks....Rick

Hi Ken can you smell the cedar in the scent? I like a strong long lasting scent.And also does the clove one smell like clove a lot? that would be a nice strong scent ,please let me know before I order Also nice video!
honest D this is more of a mild scent. I can't detect it after several minutes but my wife says it's still there. I smell more of s blend of scents as opposed to one specific cedar. Hope that helps a bit.
Does the shaving cream have a cooling/soothing menthol type of sensation?
I shave to use hair gel because my hair is quite thick.I've tried their pomade and I really like it but it's too expensive here in the U.K.The true test of a pomade is on a windy day.

The last women that told me to slick my hair back was my mother...lol..poor boy...victim of the mother daughter tag team...lol...Two places where my wife and daughter..(yea I have one)...are not allowed to go unless I ask them.....What I drive..and what I shave with....they learned early

be careful of that elvis hair look stuff dude , get that crap on ya forehead and its zit city all over again .... but i guess if wifeys happy you doing the compromise , the mail man can forgo the mine field outside your mail box - notice your using the wifes razor .. i like that razor .. it reflects off your skin . :O) - try this combination , s1 slant - feather blade - Saponificio Varesino tundra artica soap - Tundra Artica After Shave Lotion - .... you wont be disappointed.... take care buddy . .

They should never be political. I always try to be neutral 👍👍
