Note to anyone trying to build, it is recommended to put the graphics card in last(as in plug in everything else first) because having it in makes it more difficult to reach some headers
So true, while building my pc i couldn't fit my hand under the graphics card to plug in some of those cables from the pc case. Took me maybe a minute at most to remove the graphics card, and it became so easy to plug in everything. Saved so much time.

pshh to build a computer in the current market you need to be loaded or have a good job living with mommy. For a decent computer now it costs a fortune. One that would cost 1000-1500 last year is going for easily double if not almost triple that price.

I feel the same way
As far as cable management goes, its usually easier to run all the plugs from the motherboard to the psu just so you got a better idea of where you should put them through. Its not a big deal but it does make things a little easier.

I think that it would be beneficial to mention that custom PCs require manual installation of their drivers: Motherboard, LAN, Sounds, etc. Might be important to mention.
I'm thinking of building a fresh start of a PC build and that's one thing I'm worried about on booting up the computer and nothing works? Would install drivers be done going online or would this be more in files and transfer kinda stuff

Hey frank, what was that screw driver you were using in the video for your setup?
a similar video like this from Austin Evans was posted in 2012 and it really helped. Glad to see video like this being made.
pc building can look really difficult and i really needed my hand held through it.
How because Austin’s first video was 2 years ago?
This is so satisfying to watch it build 🤩
Thanks a bunch just made a beast of a gaming pc!
what screwdriver are you using because it seems to have a nice amount of power
When I can afford everything im just scared for it to explode or do anything bad idk that much about pc so I will be learning even more
Really helpful for my next setup :)
Congrats on being the one I watched to get my first PC setup!
You built a pc with this tutorial and if so did it work?
I hope y'all find an video explaining how to get pc parts in 2021...
This is probably the first year where I recommend a pre built lol. Just on the basis you likely save money on a prebuilt and save time looking for in stock parts. In previous years prebuilts were a little over priced but I think there are some really good options out there. I recommended my friends the NZXT prebuilts. This is tough tho I hope things go back to the way they were.
What about now?
@@bekindtoothers.1397 same thing as then
Problem with a prebuilt is you need that cash upfront. I’m shitty at holding money so buying parts little by little is how I’ve been able to almost finish my build. Just need the monitor now and I’m Gucci
I’m building my PC right now and I wish I would have just gotten a pre-built one lmao this has been an annoying process
I ordered all my parts and it all came to about $1800. Went to Best Buy to get thermal paste and looked at their pre-builts, and seen basically the same build I was doing maybe even slightly better for $1400 on Black Friday sales.... oh well lol at least I'll learn some things building it myself
It's so satisfying watching this
This just calmed me down by 90 percent because I’m buying pc parts for me pc thinking I would struggle a lot but when I saw you it looked way simpler I’m way less stressed keep it up 😁😀
how did it go homie almost getting into my first build
@@DesireProspers putting the parts in was easy but plugging them in was a lil complicated but it was so worth it at the end

This guy get to the point fast and very simple
please link your electric screwdriver 😂 i need it
you should make a video on how to get a gpu in 2021 rather than this as pc building has been similar for years
Just swapped out my case today for the White version of the Lian Li Lancool 2 mesh, superb case.
Just got my pc at micro center this is helpful
Congrats if you’re early ): also can anyone recommend parts to get for a custom keyboard?
wooden case : GK61 wooden (pcb + wooden case combo)
metal case : whatever u want on kbdfans
keycaps : AKKO world tour Tokyo
Use banggood cus it’s cheaper and better :)
Gmmk pro is a pretty solid choice to get into the hobby. Just buy keycaps, switches, new stabs, switch opener, and lube. After than you we'll have a pretty solid board. Or try and get a nk95 and lube that and stuff and it will also be pretty good. Or go on to kbdfans and add all the parts the have into a cart.
I second a gmmk pro if its in your budget. Then banggood or aliexpress keycaps, and whatever switches you want. Glorious pandas are a good tactile, gateron yellows are a good linear
the geekhack groupbuy section is a good place to start
Idk man but that GMMK is SWEET!
It's been 10 years since I built my last PC, almost nothing has changed but the power and the amount of hardware stuffed onto the exact same parts. I've just started to order things for the build now and these videos really help refresh my memory. Shame all the Crypto losers are buying every GPU in existence but when they run up their mums electric bill and she grounds them it will all settle down.
Thank You so Much For This Guide❤️
OMG he is a legend I didn't know how to build to a pc when I watched this video I got the idea man he is a truly amazing thanks man
Thanks for that hardware list,Frank! But...You left out the screwdriver.
With that built-in light,I really want to add it to my collection.
He covered it in a previous video.

If you're considering building this list, a Noctua NH-D15 in black is cheaper and runs quieter than the AIO. Just saying!
