Nice jop.. big thumbs up, I want to make he same exact thing to my window AC .... is it efficient ? ... how much water does it take ?

It's not bad and it only takes a small amount of water because I am using the water in a closed loop so it won't evaporate for a long time. But now and then I flush it so it has clean water.

Hi, nice looking Maschine. But what's the Goal here? - Did not realy get what you are cooling with that water? XD

Its a little air conditioning system that the compressor is cooled by water not air. The goal was to teach my self and others basic refrigeration and to see if 2,400 btu with the help of my window air conditioner could bring my room down to 59F.

@@67tr876 Ok, water has a better capacity to take/receive more heat, but it seems like you cooling the collector and not the compressor directly and an other strange thing what disturbs me is, the contact between your water loop and the collector. Its seems like their is a bigger gap between them, so finally you cooling that air around the collector?!
And the water is cooled by condenser with a fan outside? Its feel like you double the way for the fan to cooling your system.
The only reason I see is, you don't want to put your collector and compressor outside to cool them by fresh air, cause in summer the efficiency will drop a bit? - In that case you will win some minutes of colder temperature with water, cause your water still cooled by "outside" air. XD
