Cover #137. Another favorite from System of a Down, an absolutely fantastic track. This one has been suggested by you guys a bunch of times, so it's about time! You'll find a detailed transcription of the drum parts below.
John plays a very unique groove in this song, especially with the way he incorporates the groove into it. I like to think of the toms as a part of the groove instead of as a fill, that's how I interpret it all. It's a rather simple partially displaced groove but that doesn't mean it's easy to play by any means. I feel it's very important to making sure you've got the pulse going on in your body in order to really make it sit right. Some really great ideas in this song!

They're absolutely fantastic! Very full of character. They definitely fit into various genres in very interesting ways! I would however not solely judge based on my covers as there's often the original cymbal behind it! But I love them. If you check out my Pearl Jam cover of Even Flow for instance, there you've got ONLY my drums!

Do you use click while playing ? I couldnt put proper click to song :( 80 bpm doesnt fit the song

I don't think this was originally recorded with a click, and hence is very difficult to put to a click track. 80 is closest/the average/etc.
