Thanks Gary for the super informative tutorial....I just created a hummingbird emoji...is there a way to make an emoji into 3 different sizes? I would like it to look bigger..thanks. Norm
Depend on where you are using it. In Messages it just appears at "emoji size" inline with the other characters. Though the Messages app will display it larger if you don't have anything else in the message except the emoji. That's not new, that is just how they work in Messages.
Hi Gary, are all these features in the video open to all devices that run iOS 18.2 and all countries or is there a limitations on device models and geographical areas...perhaps with a rolldown over a period of time? May be I should have asked Gemini you say? lol
Great video on iOS18.2. I just updated my photo to iOS 18.2 but had a could not fine the Image Playground like you used in the Apple App store. What is the specific name of the Image Playground app you are using?
@macmost Thanks Garry - The video you made about MacOS 15.2 was that beta release because i see no updates on MacOS 15.1 (i am not on beta release & want to stay with public release rollout)
Do you mean EU for the iPhone? Yes. Apple has said so. Reports are some features coming in maybe April. But if you mean the UK for "UK English," then this update, 15.2 does it. If you mean on macOS, then you may already have it, depending on your language settings. See support.apple.com/121115
Depends how you define "Europe" - it's available in the UK today (11 December) and evidently, is coming to countries in the EU "later", as yet an undefined date.
Thanks for the video and discussing the new features. This seems like a groundbreaking update. Yes, we’ve had access to ChatGPT for some time but now Apple has integrated it into its OS and applications which makes it extremely easy to try in actual everyday use cases (not having to go out to a separate app or website). Similarly, the integration with Siri is another major step forward in this direction. I am a little suspicious of the Image Wand’s drawing detection, however-you had to tell it you drew a teacup, which I thought was a fine rendition 😊
when is 18.2 coming out?
Today
Probably after 6pm
i am installing now
It’s out mate.
As with a lot of these updates it’s not available in my region. I’ll pop back when it is..
nice. thanks.
Which iPhone model is the minimum for all the gen AI features?
I put a link right at the start of the video. Here it is again: support.apple.com/121115
Me watching the video as an Iphone SE user in Europe: 🙃🙃🙃

Don’t forget the iPad exists!
At 10:11 you mentioned iOS 15.2, but I assume you meant macOS 15.2. Anyway, a good update video from you, as always. Thanks.
Thanks. I've fired those responsible for the mistake.
@@macmost 😂 Come back, Gary! We miss you!

It is "Image Playground." That's the app. Are you sure your iPhone has Apple Intelligence and that you are set to a language that supports it?
👋 Is Apple Intelligence in beta or Public release rollout for Mac ???
Why is it asking to join if it's a public release?
Both: "Public Beta." They are simply calling it a beta so people understand the feature is in rapid development and not "finished."
@macmost Thanks Garry

@@garrysingh4484 Both macOS 15.2 and iOS 18.2 come out today.

I’ve just downloaded iOS 18.2 this evening here in the UK
Great video. I hope this comes out soon. I just check my phone and my iOS 18.1.1 is up to date. :/
Today.
Wow, so Apple OS can't support iPhones bought just a couple years ago
Yes, according to Apple they lack the processing power to do it.
Very useful and informative video tutorial today! Thank you, Gary! ❤️👏🏻

What’s the meaning behind the name of your channel? Macmost? Wtf. Cause it rhymes?
means Metha 😂
Genmoji wants monthly cash to work in UK!!
Huh? There's nothing like that. Explain.
Mostly useless staffs
What is useless to you may one useful to someone else. I'll bet there are things you find useful on your iPhone that other people never ever use.
@@macmost 🙂
It is useless unless you have a iPhone 15/16
Might help your spelling skills
