Thank you so much for sharing all your beautiful art and great tips 🙏 Thanks for giving us so much of your time 🙏 I love your art and all those beautiful natural earthy soft colors 😁💝
So beautiful. I really enjoy how you do your sketchbooks and how neat they are but they example of the color mixing along with a painting example is really pretty.💜💜💜
Your attention to detail is wonderful , never heard of lost and found edges before but they are fascinating .Your passion is infectious . You are my new obsession =)
Now that you know about lost and found, you will start to notice them in nature, in artwork and all around you. They are a beautiful awakening for your artistic eye! You made me laugh out loud with your obsession comment, thanks for that!
I found your channel today and am hooked! I’ve already watched a few videos and feel a major binge coming on. 😁 I love your style and the way you swatch/mix colors. I may have to go back and redo my swatching. Definitely subscribing and looking forward to more videos. Thank you so much for sharing! ❤
Stunning! I recently signed up for your cultivated color course. I am not into drawing at all at the moment (or ever 🤫)…so I am tweaking my pages a bit. I have taken color mixing courses before but this time things are clicking that haven’t clicked before. I am realizing I have WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too many tubes of paint and get paralyzed by having too many choices. I really can create whatever hues, tints, and tones with so few colors. The only kicker is that I love granulating and color separating paints so much. Maybe I should be a “star” color that is a type of specialty paint like a Primatek and then use a limited color palette to create my other colors. Oh I am also doing all of the exercises on sheets of Fabriano watercolor paper…when finished, I plan to bring to FedEx and have them bind it for me. I struggle with working in journals. I like to create the journal after I have completed my artwork. I wonder if anyone else does this. 😊
I love the idea of having them bound afterwards, so good! I'm thrilled to hear it is clicking YEAH! Sometimes it takes a while and I have to say, you have to be ready for color theory/mixing as well. I too love granulating and it is a great way to add colors slowly or to select a few you absolutely adore and let it become your "neutral tint." I do that with Daniel Smith's Hematite Violet Genuine, I use it to shade everything. Experiment and see what gives you the best darks you can use in what you like to paint. Thank you for the support of my courses and UA-cam channel, I really appreciate it!

What absolutely exquisite work. I subscribed after the previous video I watched. Your subtle use of colour and texture is blowing me away.

Beautiful!
Thank you so much, you made me smile!
I like the way you set up the main colors and the mixed colors. It makes it easy to remember which is what.
I've been mixing like this for a couple of years now and find it so informative at a glance. Glad you liked it!
Gorgeous leaves and amazing colours...thank you for sharing yet another great video.
Ahhh, you are too kind and very welcome, thanks for watching!

Just gorgeous! 🐨👍

Your comment made me laugh. I'm a little more "left brained" than "right brained" so organization comes first for me LOL Glad you enjoyed it!
Loving your work!!
Ahhh, thank you so much for that compliment!
I’ve learned so much about your process of color mixing and organizing your palette. Thank you!
You are welcome and hope it gives you the freedom to organize as you see fit. One size does not fit all, especially when organizing colors.
Hi, Kelly. Is the splashing done to give the color more texture and interest?
Yes. I use the splashing for texture first. I also like seeing the varied tones on the paper from the splashing as well.
