I love the moment the trucks are in pursuit of the pickup truck. It's cool seeing them coordinate with each other on what to do next, and when all the trucks arrive and help 61 block him in, it was an awesome moment.

I thought the same thing. Then you see the episode and figure it out: the truck driver committed grand larceny (he stole their tools needed for rescues and used them to commit robberies at ATMs and other areas), and that's why they had to make sure he didn't get away. It was actually an intense moment!
@@reginahay4998 The Firehouse is at 1360 S Blue Island Ave, Chicago, IL 60608. Granted, I was in my early teens, and also in the UK, so I wasn't able to watch too many episodes, but still, like the first few seasons of 'L&O', and 'Homicide: Life on the Streets', somethings just stick with you ...
I wish the scene where they return to the firehouse and Gallo holds up the jaws and proudly asks, “Whose tools?” and the others say, “Our tools.” was added in.
Chicago Fire:First, thanks for posting this particular video. Along with your several other ones. Each one together. Each one amazing. In line with that,I have this insightful and responsive question. What specific episode is this particular highlight clip from? Just wondering and curious, that's all. Once again, thanks for posting and sharing all your awesome videos.
Anyone wondering what happened in the episode and why they were chasing a truck I'll tell y'all. It starts with the cliff hanger that was in the last video, the man attacks severide with the flare and the whole place catches fire while a big metal thing falls on the man that attacked Severide. Severide helps the man get unstuck and they are about to run up flaming stairs when Seager (Or whatever she is) comes running in and puts out the fire. The man gets arrested and it goes back to station 51, followed by amotor vehicle crash with one street racer and one mail woman in a mail truck, there are letters all over the ground and the street racing vehicle is on fire while Casey and Gallo are trying to get the person out, stuff gets real when they realise the car is going to blow up. They get him safely out of the vehicle meanwhile Foster and Brett are taking care of the mailwoman and they need to intubate her but with a different tactic because of so much chin trauma. Foster is doubting Brett's ability to perform it so she wants to do it and Brett says she will and does it. After they get to the station Kidd realises that the Cutters are missing while Gallo says he 100% put them back so Casey calls Station 20 that was on the call with them. Truck 81 gets a call for police assistance for an ATM robbery because an old man was chained to a bike rail. All signs at the ATM point that it was done with the cutters so they get a picture of the man and Gallo tells Casey he has a couple of friends that are modifying vehicles so they visit a place and the guy in the place shows them a picture of his vehicle (The red truck). Kidd sees that Foster turns around when she says Brett in the station so she calls her over and gets them in the laundry room and tells them that they need eachother in the station but before she could finish they got a call. So while they were en route to the call, Station 20 is closer so main says E-51, Truck 81, Squad 3 and A-61 need to return to station. While returning they spot the red truck and the pursuit begins. You can see what happens in the video, Mouch also found a letter at the crash that was stuck to his boot. He tries to get the adress but the mail office isnt accepting the letter. Ritter manages to find an adress by placing a papper over the letter and starts coloring the paper with a pencil. He later went to the adress returning the letter when a woman opened the door and asks who is he. He introduces himself and says he found the letter on his boot after a call. She says her husband must've written it right before an attack which he later died in (He was a soilder). Also forgot to mention that meanwhile Severide got transfered back to Station 51.

Where was the 21st? I can already hear Voight, Atwater, Ruzek, Burgess, and even Halstead from his hospital bed, telling Firehouse 51 not to do this. All of their sense took a holiday.
(morgan freeman voice) here we see an aggressive tuned pickup truck having been corned by a ford ambulance, most of the time the truck could easly out manuver the larger ambulance, but unfortunetly for the truck the ambulance had already called out to it's herd and the trucks escape routes are quickly cut off by the imovable bulk of the firetrucks, it is with great sorrow that the pickup truck has to accept defeat
In my city (Sunnyvale, CA), firefighters are also cross-trained as sworn police officers, so firefighters would have pistols and AR-15s pointed at the suspect vehicle. That's called a dual-trained public safety department!
Well, Italian Firefighters (Corpo dei Vigili del Fuoco) also has the Judicial Police status, even if the only officers that are perimtted to carry a Personal Defence weapon are the members of the Office of Fire Investigations (Nucleo Investigazione Antincendi, NIA abbreviated), for obvious reasons. They also work very closely with the State Trooper (here they are called Polizia di Stato) and with the Carabinieri tho, so they haven't the need to carry their PDW whenever they are called to a scene as Police or Carabinieri are already at the scene before.
