Firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, etc.. deserve a lot of respect, in which it is a shame that they don't get. People shooting at them, starting fires, shooting right in front of them, etc. I can't believe that we have these people to take care of us, to protect us, to be our heroes.. etc. Thank you. LET'S GIVE IT UP FOA THEM!
They unfortunately don't get paid enough for what they do. Stupid sports stars get paid ridiculous amounts for not putting their lives on the line. They should pay the first responders what sports figures get paid then pay the sports figures what the first responders now get paid.

@@joemckim1183 No thats the odd thing it is an active firehouse. I go by it sometimes. As I mentioned I was there this past month and there were signs all over the neighborhood letting people in the area know when the studios would be filming there and where they can park and not park during those times

Chicago fire med and PD has been through so much and they put it all behind them and focus on the city of Chicago so that’s what I like about these shows.😃

@@amandanies3174 I actually learned this year that a neighbor of mine has been an extra a ton on these NBC shows and many other shows and movies done in Chicago. he loves doing them. ANd he says the food is beyond incredible and you get to meet the cast many times and see how things are done either at the studio or on location. he has a blast and keeps trying to get me to try out. But he says they do keep you there for hours and I cant do it with my work schedule

It was a part of thr storyline for him to leave but the door is still there for him to return
