@Kit.Chronicles yeah I noticed I couldn’t comment on your post anymore! Maybe if you delete the UA-cam link you can talk to the mods. It’s a shame because your work is quality and makes the subreddit a better place!
I really liked the format of the video. The model of the carriage turned out to be realistic. Continue making videos and delighting the viewers of your channel!
Excellent video! I have this same kit, because I love grimy, rusty and faded railway colours. Your video will help me a lot. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks! This build was so much fun and it's a quick build. Be careful when you want to put on those small red and white details you can see on my build and in the manual. If you don't clean up the mold lines on those small openings, they break easily while gluing them on.
Hello ny fellow modeler! It's absolutely awesome to see somebody beside Mark of Sweden who make railroad models but you make it in larger scale. For me as a car model builder and person who loves trains and railroad technics Im excited for new video. Like and subscribe! Greetings from Czech republic.
Thank you! Before I started working on the last diorama I didn't really know anything about railroad stuff. I saw the "Kesselwagen" Kit at my local hobbyshop and it just looked so cool and seemed like a great opportunity for some nice weathering. Had so much fun working on that. Hope you will enjoy the next videos!
thank you for the video and welcome. very interesting and well done model. hope you also filmed the previous diorama and one day you will show it to us. liked and subscribed
Thank you so much! Sadly there is no video about the previous diorama I can show to you guys, since the idea to do videos came from all the positive feedback I got regarding that diorama. I am already working on the next project and many of the techniques I used for the last project will also play a key part in the next one. But I will add a link with high quality photos of the last diorama, so you will be able to take a closer look at all those small details.
Well done, more of the same thanks, really enjoyed the video I have a flatwagon by watching the vid I can learn how it's done properly to a professional level... 👍👍....
@@TonyKelly-p7x Thanks! Sadly, there isn't a video about the first one. The overwhelming amount of positive feedback about that diorama was one of the things that convinced me to start this channel. Going to upload some high-resolution photos tomorrow so you can take a closer look at that diorama. I am already working on the next diorama, and most of the techniques I used for this one will be part of that video as well. Also feel free to ask any questions you've got about that piece and I will be happy to answer them.
I really liked building something that isn't a tank. The diorama for this model will feature a building! Also, I'm quite sure that the next build after this project is finished will be tank.
Thank you! I do use a normal brush in some cases. That's a cheap synthetic brush. It's perfect for areas where I need more glue than the Tamiya brush can hold. For small details I stick to the Tamiya brush. Since plastic glue is solvent based the bristels also dont stick together so that brush is usable for a long time.
Thanks! Sadly there is no Kesselwagen video. After I finished that diorama everyone told me that I should make videos about my projects, before that I didnt record anything. But since so many of you guys asked about a video I might consider building that thing again so I can make a video about that :D
Thanks a lot! I guess the Carpet Monster is something every scale modeler fears. Luckily, my workbench is rather large, and my floor makes it easy to find parts that fly off. But I usually use a less dramatic way of cutting parts from the sprue when the camera isn't running. ;)
It does. There are two pieces of track each about 18cm long in those Kit's made my Sabre Models. They look nice and are easy to work with. There are little hooks between the sleepers that you can click together to get a curved track if you want. I used that for the "Kesselwagen".
Which diorama and model making communities are you involved in? I would like to join the same community as you. Is it a forum site or a discord community?
Great work. May I suggest not going too far with highlighting all the nuts & bolts etc. There's danger of becoming a polysyrene cartoonist if it's taken too far. See one of Uncle Nightshifts more recent videos if you don't believe me. 😉
Hello. I am thinking of opening a UA-cam channel soon. Your first video reached over 5000 viewers. How did you achieve this? This is a great achievement for your first video. I wonder which other communities did you share your video with besides UA-cam? What did you do to attract viewers from outside?
Hi! I am really blown away by the view count of my video! I love building models and I started this channel since friends in the modelling community told me that they would like to watch my process while building models. I don't really know how the UA-cam algorithm works, but somehow it showed my video to a lot of people. Wish you all the best for your channel and hope you will have a lot of success with it!
@@Kit.Chronicles I can't make a model as good as yours, but I want to try my luck on UA-cam. I'm jealous of your success :) You're very good and I think you should definitely continue on UA-cam and if possible, you should upload a video to UA-cam once a week. The UA-cam algorithm wants one video a week, if you do that, I think you'll progress well. You mentioned a model making community, which community is that? Can I join you?
You´re an master of modelverse!
Thanks a lot!
Amazing work. So glad you've decided to start sharing your process. Looking forward to following along.
Thanks so much!
Great videos! I saw one of your builds on Reddit and you let us know about your channel. I’m glad you did! Going to binge them all tonight!
Thanks a lot! Unfortunatly it seems that I am now banned on r/modelmakers for selfpromotion 😬 Glad you found this channel anyway 😁

Outstanding work. The weathering is absolutly great. I hope i will see you again by Kölbel
Thanks a lot! We will for sure meet there again, I cant think of a better place to look for my next modelkit.
It looks really great(the dio).
Great weathering and painting on the Plattformwagen too.!
Thanks a lot!
You have perfectly replicated the style of the most popular UA-camrs, you will definitely achieve success quickly.

Sehr schöne arbeit. Auch das kesselwagen dio. Top👌
Danke! Ich freue mich schon riesig den Rest vom Projekt hier zu zeigen.
Nicely done.

Good job. 👍

Excellent work! I've got a 1/48 Heinkel on the modelling table but have taken a break from it. Thinking it is time to get back to it!
Thanks! That sounds great, I'm currently working on my first plane kit for the next video. So far I really like it!
@@Kit.Chronicles Judging by the size of the train bed id say you are working on a fighter? You are quite welcome!
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 Exactly. Considering that there aren't that many plane kits in 1/35 scale the options are quite limited.
@@Kit.Chronicles The ones that are 1/35 are quite nice as far as cockpit detail goes.
Gorgeous! With so many details to enjoy, superb base and weathering!!👍👍
Thank you! Hope will like the next one as well!
I really enjoyed watching this come together! Great work!
Thanks a lot!

Superb weathering on the tankcar, looks like its a 45T G.L.W
Thanks a lot! According to the box, it's a German "Kesselwagen" (tank wagon) type "Deutz" used from 1941-1990.
Really amazing skills, well done on a very good inaugural video, very happy to sub and look forward to more vids already
Thanks for the kind words! Already working on the next project!
Amazing

Great video, but I was worried that you were going to lose parts the way that you were cutting them off the sprues
