thats was my thought bolt pistol needs a buff, it felt like a bad revolver. the bolt pistol should be destroying people on contact, and the boltgun also feels off. but it was nerfed a bunch of times for making one shot boss. nerfing our toys shouldn't be the option buff the agression system.

for the the proposed fixes no the Revolver should be better against soft unarmored enemies while the boltpistol which is firing these massive rounds should absolutely body carapace and flak.

It's kinda funny that strongest range weapons are autopistol (if you remember that times) and revolver while boltguns are just ok.

Its a useful video but Eugh, what is WITH people these days acting like everything is sciencified and knowledgified... 'I proved the skill works exactly as intended by doing what the skill says' and youre making it sound like youve discovered some sort of hidden secret. 'The ads should be backwards' No its like that because the devs actually udnerstand crosshairs and how they want their guns to work, not what you scrublords want i.e a reddot on everything and thigns to work that are intuitive for you rather than needing intuition to get the most out of. The crosshairs widen so you can land both fucknig barrels of your super fucking shotgun on a thingy's fat fucking face at close range more easily, not the other way around to make it like a revolver vs a sniper. Gave the video a second chance and you're acting like theres best in slot this Best in slot that. Its entirely subjective (I use Block efficency and Unarmoured on my god tier Vet shovel, for example) based on what you want and how you play. Taking Flak Maniac is obviously useful, Taking Unarmoured Unyielding is useful too especially if you deal with Flak/Maniac another way (Brainburst looking at you). Maximum reload speed styles on a Exec stance Vet simply blows things away. Yes it'll chonk your ammo, any gimmick usually does, but you can pretend youre a gunlugger for a while killnig the screen. Run N Gun gives you damage. If you don't udnerstand why you dont know what youre talknig about when discussing breakpoints with this existing I really cant help you my friends and I refer you to my opening gambit unintentionally. I have to stop, you guys simply don't know what your talking about and act like you do. How dare you blaspheme the almighty supershotgun I dont care, I'm bringing the house down. Youre all wrong and you need to sciencify breathing thgrough your mouths to make yourselfs feel good about something. Youre literally killnig skill and intuition in gaming lowering standards as you go. To be clear, I don't have a problem with the video I think its very good from an entertainment perspective I have a problem with how the infomation is disseminated.

My build can one shot all enemies but a carapace but it knocks down carapace completely and for them I have a chain saw

Maybe I missed it, but did you know about the double-aim trick? When you ADS and shoot, instead of waiting for the recoil to reset or trying to adjust your aim, just release ADS and instantly ADS again and it resets MUCH faster. Just do this between every shot. It still gets too inaccurate after several shots, but it's still much better overall. Works great with the regular Bolter, but with the bolt pistol, I noticed that the aim point snaps up and left if you don't shoot fast enough after re-ADSing, so you either have to aim and shoot before that happens or wait until after the snap and shoot, otherwise you'll miss a ton of shots. It's always up-left. But yeah, I agree, overall it's pretty underwhelming. If the bleed blessing applied to all enemies, it would be phenomenal, but as it stands, it's just okay. However it's still better than almost all the other options. I actually like the close-range explosion one, I use one of the power mauls with the +dmg vs staggered blessing, which pairs great with the Sharpshooter talent that increases weapon damage by 25% after switching weapons. (By the Emperor, I can't remember the names of any of these things anymore!)

Yeah on the charger charge is important to note that if you dont move he'll do a regular sttack abd destroy you. This is why i loved bringing shield generator as well. *edit to clarify the deployable shield generator not the backpack as this forces them to bounce on it as well among a myriad of other perks when fighting bugs

Yep, I had same thoughts exactly. Generally, it's an OK weapon that has great esthetics but somewhat bad aiming - especially in ADS. You can definitely use it and succeed on highest difficulties, but if we talk efficiency, I would take revolver over it every time in every situation.

The craftsmen behind the make of that revolver must be absolutely astounded to hear how much more effective their weapon is than bolt guns.

It feels so strange they put all this work into it and its effectively just an even more limited bolter. I want to love this game but they make it harder and harder every day. I would prefer this to be solved by making the more fantastical iconic weapons spectacular rather than just nerfing the more pedestrian meta ones but I know that won't happen.

I've managed to BUY a decent blue Hacker with Man-Stopper from the shop. Unheard of.

Fun little side note: Veterans exe stance works great with the hacker. The 25% dmg bonus and spread & recoil reduction are just *chefs kiss*. I did a doom guy build on veteran with it (just to simulate glory kill possibilities xP ) and it can 1shot fairly reliably non-elite shooters from 25-30m range and with luck even at 40m. This gives a nice tool against them since they are now much more accurate & deadly.

A double-barrel shotgun called Hacker just makes me want to play Cyberpunk.

Manstopper, 80% damage 25% carapace hacker + a spike shoval special can one to 2 tap crushers and maulers I tested this myself

Too bad the double barrel shotgun is a weak weapon, it suffers from video game shotgun syndrome, meaning the devs are scared to make it powerful, so you just end up with a mediocre or bad weapon. Like the effective range is way too short to deal with specials in 1shot (can't even kill poxbursters with both barrels lol), the damage looks good on paper, but doesn't seem to be enough and half the blessings are dog water. I think all the new weapons are mediocre apart from the Pickaxes which are a solid A or S tier depending on which one you use. Hopefully the devs will buff the new non-pickaxe weapons in the next update.

I feel like both barrels is a pretty bad blessing just because you lose so much value by firing both barrels and because the reload is not nearly as fast as "70% faster" should be. I think this is something similar to drg's double barrel where one of the mods increased the reload speed but not the delay time between the shot and the reload taking place. if anything that 70% feels like 20 or 30% at most to me

shotguns are trash in DT and the double barrel is no different.

i think it is subpar because the bolter was so overpowered at launch so the boltgun came pre nerfed. the boltgun really needs a buff. the primary reason the bolter was op was the full auto mag dumping
