The camerawork for Reprise 2 ruined it for me 😅 I'm sorry, but I literally visualized HER with her flashbacks when Eric picked her up from the shore. It's in the lyrics and they chose not to do that. They could've even shown something from the original version like the part where she looks to her sisters and father for her last goodbye before going to Ursula EDIT: I meant from the original adaptations before Disney. She was hesitating to go but she felt trapped.
