I would like to see you do maintenance on the clipper head. How do you take it off, clean and oil it and then replace it. Thank you.
These are very similar to human clippers on the end. For most of them the tops just come off and you can rinse the plastic piece and use a soft brush on the inside, which usually doesn’t have much fur. I haven’t had to oil any yet.
The hose needs to be much larger for long hair dogs. I got the first one you mentioned and my Samoyed/huskies hair was stuck in the hose and the whole thing stopped working!! Could not get the hair out and had to send it back. There needs to be a vacuum with a very wide hose for the machine to work effectively for long hair shedding dogs. I will keep looking and also ask my groomer what she uses, or suggests for me. Thank you for listening.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for the comment. Interesting, I do own this one and use it in my mini- Australia Shepard- she’s more of a medium size dog. We haven’t had any issues with clogging or anything like that. I guess as you get larger with the dog you’ll need more of the premium type options.

I think it’s the way the hair builds at the top and doesn’t even go in well and then I was trying to get it actually going down the hose and it stuck! So I think the issue is in the brushing head that has a smaller hole and things are flowing well!! I hear there are ones with bigger brushing holes and that’s probably what I need too because as I was brushing barely anything was going in the machine!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
