Hello, your video is amazingly high-quality! Additionally, your workflow for printing, processing, and painting models is incredibly well-organized, and you handle the technique with great skill. We're very grateful that you chose our models for your video. You can't imagine how pleasant it is to see our models in the hands of a professional like you. If you're okay with it, we'd love to feature your video on our website and share the link with our followers on social media.
Woah! yeah that would be fantastic, very high praise. I think of myself as more of a average hobby guy, never thought of being called professional haha. Thank you champion, your models are fantastic and had to showcase them when I seen them. Will be printing more when I get time. Yeah, that would be awesome to have my video showcased on your website and an honor 🙌🙌
Red makers you absolutely rock. Is there a possibility that you could add a normal leg option to your STLs with bionic legs? Death Division etc. I think it would be better to use the bionics sparingly to simulate amputations. Don’t get me wrong the legs are cool and I would like to see the odd bionic arm incorporated as well. For me it would be incredibly helpful to get the option of normal legs especially when we are trying to incorporate your amazing designs into pre existing army’s without bionic legs. And most importantly would save me having to cut off and replace the boots 😂
Yessss I love RedMakers’ files, I think the heavy weapons team shown off here are the grossest models I own. I wish they participated in the MMF sales!
I know what you mean @TrulyGenericAlias RedMakers are one of my go to now, it is a pitty they don't always jump on the sales. I would have a lot more of their stuff I can tell you that much XD
@@NatesMiniatures I'm just getting into WH40k, are the 3D models like these identical sculpts of the original models/units or are they alternate sculpts?
It really just depends on the LGS, I would say it is best if you find one ask but also know that supporting them with your hobby supplies is a good idea. But yeah, just have to ask and see because everyone of them is different and some even 3d print and sell their own stuff.
I am not sure if I captured it enough but there was one of the Heretic guardsmen that was grabbing the thralls face. It is like he is saying watch your friends get cut down.
These look really good. I have never done it but at 41 I finally have a bit of spare cash these days so thinking about minis. Not to play but just paint display.
Welcome to the hobby, nothing wrong with getting some minis to paint up. Maybe even enter in a painting comp in the future? it would be nice to win, but you get to hang around a bunch of pro painters and ask questions and feed back.
Red Makers Krieg/Guard STL’s are so good, I just wish they gave you the option to have normal legs. I can’t get with the bionic legs at least not on all of the troops, one leg here and there would be cool and maybe the odd arm. I’d literally buy all their STL’s if they implemented this.

If you're looking for uniquely different models then yeah they're great. If you want 1:1 models then there are a ton of great looking options if you're willing to look around a little, and they're usually free.
Always great to see another video my man! I am sad that not all the hey gears machines do a fancy dance, but one day technology will improve and my dream of a fully autonomous dancing 3D printer will be realised! That said, I did appreciate the bit of you dancing for us, 10/10 xD As for making the right choice regarding what you chose to print? Well, its not a life sized Pidgeot, but I guess you did ok. PS: I too love to say bucket :P
Hello, I'm new to this, important question, why not assemble the miniature in the 3D program and then print the complete figure? Or is there something I don't know about printing them in parts? I'm obviously talking about small miniatures like space marines. Greetings from the Dominican Republic
You can 100% do that if that is what you want to do and then re-support everything then you are good to go. I was personally ok with gluing it altogether so it did not cross my mind. But there is nothing stopping you combining the whole miniature before printing. Thanks for commenting 👍👍
I dream to get a Heygear printer. My basement workspace is damp and cold, specially in winter. I have to change my FDM printing when printing in winter. Lol
Is there some reason why I only see resin 3D printers used for printing Warhammer figures in UA-cam videos? Can my non-resin 3D printer work with these .stl files?
Hey @williewasahippie I can answer that for you. The simple answer is that Resin 3D printers are mainly used is because of the details it can capture. FDM printer that uses filament and melts the plastic layer by layer doesn't have the quality on small scale minis compared to the resin printer. FDM printers are best for tanks to terrain in the wargaming hobby space 🙌
I have found that the bucket washes really do not help that much. I stop using my washes and replaced them with a simple plastic bowl with isopropanol alcohol and soak minis models overnight is the best practice by far. Not only does it clean the models perfectly, but it also softens the point of contact on your supports that meet the model. They come off like butter and do not tug on the model like shown in your video.
I'd suggest Grimdark Future as a much easier to learn and better experience. It's enough 40K to scratch that itch without all of the "Feels bads" that come with 40K. Also has a Renegade Guard type faction.
Hey champion, I use the Sony ZV-E10. I record in 4k 25fps, the lens I used for a majority of the filming of the printing process is the Canon 50mm F1.8 using a speed booster. The painting section was the sony kit lens 16mm - 50mm, monitoring the video on a Freeworld monitor. Hope this helped ^_^
