- A new song for me, sorry I like to see the studio version of Babymetal first. This song has a different sound to it, I am guessing it would sound a bit different live.

'Divine Attack - Shingeki' was the first of five singles from the 10 track concept album 'THE OTHER ONE'.
At that point, BABYMETAL were still a duo.
The lyrics for this song, written by Su-Metal, remind me of ‘Road of Resistance’, but from a slightly different perspective.

That was just a "visualizer" but it felt like glory when it came out in late 2022, signifying the end of their hiatus.
"Divine attack" is a great song, well structured, elegant, with a smooth drive, cool drum & bass parts, nice orchestral touch, some heavy riffing and, of course Su-metal's amazing vocals. Not to mention that she is credited for the lyrics on this one for the first time. That's a really big achievement for her and (in her own words) a "dream" and "a final goal in life".

Good reaction. This song reminded Su-metal of one of her own favourites ('Road of Resistance') when she heard the demo tape, she liked it so much that said she wanted to write the lyrics for this one. That is exactly what happened and she has her first official writing credit for the lyrics.🦊
This was the first single released (late 2022) in advance of the album 'The Other One' (March 2023). This was the last album they released as a duo before they became the "new" BABYMETAL with Momometal as the third member in April 2023.
The live performance at PIA Arena in April 2023 is a good one.
