- Today we attempt the biggest Poke Bowl Challenge in Arizona! Yes, this giant Hawaiian Poke challenge is raw fish in the dessert! Filled with salmon poke, tuna poke, avocado, and toppings of my choice like spicy peppers, fresh vegetables, sauces and spices galore, I knew this was going to be a crazy Hawaiian food challenge (kind of like a sushi challenge or sashimi challenge). Today we are in Tucson Arizona at a place called Pure Poke And Prep for the Arizona food challenge called the "pure poke challenge" we had 60 minutes to eat the giant poke in order to get the $120 meal for free, otherwise we would be paying for this seafood challenge! Believe it or not, Arizona and Las Vegas sushi are held in very high regard despite their dessert locations and offering the best sushi and high quality sushi and poke in many forms! Hawaiian poke is a marinated raw fish :)

I do too....I have an extreme form of chronic migraine disorder caused by multiple brain injuries. I am disabled because of it and I had to change my diet. I can no longer have coffee, dairy, spicy or hot food, sweets, candy, soda, and more. I count my blessings that rarely I can have angle food cake with baries. Things I absolutely love but cannot have anymore are all forms of coffee, jalapenos, cheese cake, icing, cookies and many other things.
One of the many reasons that I like you and Beard is that you guys don’t need a cheering section. You do your thing and do it well.

@@TheMessiah1337 he's likely using the clock on the camera as atimer for himself and try to get the challenge started at a precise time, and he controls that by the "public" countdown. Its a pretty clever way to gain control over the startingpoint so he can keep track on how much time he has left.
I am not a raw fish eater, afraid of possibly getting parasites as from raw meats. I caught a parasite while on a cruise. Never again. Have to admit, it looks delicious. Because of 2 bouts of cancer my appetite was terrible and I have had trouble putting on weight. So I prepare my food, then sit down and watch you eat and eat along with you. I went from 96lbs to 99 lbs in this last week. I seem to eat more when I watch Joel eat. I love his vids and watching him gives me a little appetite. Don’t think Joel knows that his vids do more than entertain. It’s helped me a lot as far as increasing my appetite. Joel you’re a Blessing as well as a champion eater. One day when I am stronger, I will be looking for you to come to NY and when you do, I am going to treat you to a dinner well deserved! Bless you!!❤️🙏🏾☝🏾🥰

Poke in Hawaii is 90% pure fresh caught red tuna with a few garnishes and a bit of sauce. Can't compare to anything in Arizona or most places...only thing you need to be careful of is the mercury content. edit: yes! pure poke by the pound for the win!
