I thought they were actually making it Messier :D :P :P

Well Said !!😄🔭
@Nick Ferdinande 😂 Dont be sorry.
50 million light years...that means you are observing quite "old images"... Goosebumps..
Could you explain it ?
@@allaboutlife2837 the light needs 50 million light years to come to the earth this means we are looking always old images
lmao fr...That image of Messier 100 is 50 million years old.
@@allaboutlife2837 Light took 50 million years to reach earth, so we are looking at a 50 million years old picture of that galaxy. It can't be known how it is today(maybe) and there are some super telescopes like james webb who captured a photo of galaxies that don't even exist anymore! its just the light reaching us now.
Lol aww some people really are only using 15% of their brain.
It sucks that people I know dont get the same "feeling" I get when I see that picture.. it goes beyond our imagination, it's so mindblowingly incredible, can't describe it.
people are just not interested in astronomy
Same here brother
Love from india
I always feel overwhelmed when i watch this kind of videos
7:48 JAW DROPPING! So beautiful, I almost wept!
🔥🔥🔥
Yea.... It gives me goosebumps!!
Right? I got shivers
Utterly mind blowing to think that light travels so fast, it can do 7.5 laps around the earth PER SECOND, but yet even at that unfathomably fast speed it still takes the light 50 MILLION YEARS TO TRAVEL FROM THIS GALAXY TO OUR TELESCOPES!!!??? My goodness the distances are just too huge for our brains to understand!!?? Incredible!! Wes, Liverpool, UK.
The focal length...remarkable. The final image...incredible.
I wonder if someone/something is watching us from that galaxy to our galaxy just like you're doing 🤯 CRAZY WORK!!!
They will see Earth 50 million years ago
Nope.
Why??@@SometimesTurtle
@@SometimesTurtle as if you know
The music assigned to each part of this video couldn’t have been more perfect!! Trevor your production is next level, and the photo looks gorgeous.
😀
and all the "Dot's" around it, are Galaxy's too........that is mind blowing
It’s been so fun watching your channel cinematography progress over the years. This video seemed like a huge leap, with production quality out of this world. Clear skies!
8mins for a CGI picture??? 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder why he didn't zoom in and out???? 🤔🤣🤣🤣
I wanted to buy these devices to increase my Eemaan. Seeing that these are Ayat (Signs). It's not the eyes that grow blind, but the hearts inside the chests that grow blind.
Many people in their culture told me that atoms and gravity brought all of that into being by chance and random events. I told them, not even the primitive idolaters of the past believed that their inanimate idols created anything, are you implying that the particles inside such idols created this? Isn't that a far greater polytheism while you perceive not?
And then they told me that they would eventually vanish into non-existence as such particles. And thus I figured that truth had nothing to do with it, but that the matter was about not having desires, remote homes etc spoiled before their despair kicks in.
What was the purpose of seeing all of that, if it did not lead them to the right conclusion, that this world exists with absolute truth, justice and seriousness, and that the Creator of all of that is High above the shortcomings of indifference, injustice and vanishing into non-existence with the mosquitoes that you used to squash? And that none has the right to be praised and worshipped but the Unique Creator of all that you saw.

Also someone from there filming our Galaxy and thinking same as you are thinking, just imagine 💖💖
Thank you for sharing this man. Most of us could never afford such a crazy telescope (at least I can't) and you're giving us the chance to see some of these beautiful things as well.
@R P It's not easy man...!
Who cares if you can't
@@starboi9433 do you can
I am sure one day we will be the ones looking through the galaxies with the finest telescopes of our own!
one day you will leave this earth forever and head out for unknown place in universe, you will eventually see everything then, WITH OUT A SPACE SUIT
Flat earthers think they are just lights in the sky LOL
It’s so hard to wrap your head around the fact that this tiny bit of sky is the same size as our whole galaxy. 🤯🤯🤯
Well said.
And literally infinte number of such galaxies.
Mind blow-dried
Distance.. its tooo far
and so much more
Remarkable passion/devotion in your works!
Excellent astrophotography shots!

You are the best Trevor!!
Love from India 🙌❤
Hey Trevor! That was a brilliant end result on such a tiny little target! - The editing on this one was nuts, it must have taken as long, if not more time, than the capture itself!
Love your videos man.
@@philindeblanc Hey!, I'm sorry I wasn't more clear in my comment, I was referring to his video editing! But yes, the end results we astrophotographers share with people are almost invariably "processed" - the nature of it is such that if you didn't process the image and bring out the inherent data from the photo that there's almost nothing to see, think like undeveloped film photos :)
Regarding visual astronomy, what you see is dependant on how dark your skies are, and how large (aperture) your telescope is if you mean deep-sky targets, it's great fun but don't expect to see perfect clear galaxies etc, they are mostly faint and fuzzy to our puny eyes! 😅
I hope that helps you 👍
8mins for a CGI picture??? 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder why he didn't zoom in and out???? 🤔🤣🤣🤣
لاإله إلا الله
This telescope is every amateur astronomer's dream.
I often wonder what draws me to your videos. Is it the final picture? Is it the setup? The video editing? Nope, it's just 1 thing - your passion! It's the singular most important aspect and it shines brighter than the galaxy's you photograph. I salute your work.
Couldn't agree more

@@EnSabahNur-ir5mw buy a telescope and a camera and prove me wrong
@@EnSabahNur-ir5mw And I am saying take a picture of a galaxy and it will look somthing like that. Why do you think its an animated picture so I can try to explain yo you why its real.
Glossier and slicker than ever video (with the dog but not the host's better half this time), but bereft of any real content, except "look what I have photographed with even more expensive gear" (funded by UA-cam subscriptions and ads). Have come back in the last few months to watching this channel, but realise it has become like any other UA-cam influencer channel - with product placement - that the viewer lives vicariously through. I shall switch to the lesser known but more informative astrophotography channels ... of course each to their own, but I guess I prefer to learn a little and stay closer to astronomy as a hobby.
This video's production is on another level
It shows Trevor's progression in not just his astrophotography skills, but also his sense of drama, which adds incredibly much to the total display of his accomplishments. No amateur astronomer can shrug off the emotional impact of such displays, regardless what telescope and mount we own and how far our own experience has taken us hitherto.
that's 82728 gb Galaxy
Anyone else ever wonder how many alien species could be living on any of the planets in all the galaxies we can see in just one of these images? Absolutely mindblowing to think about
Somewhere between zero and a lot inclusive.
Yay! So happy to see you using the sct!!!! Celestron Sct gang forever!!!!!!!!
I can't imagine what it would be like to see that live. Thanks for showing people that can't afford expensive telescopes glimpses of the universe.
Beautiful results! So delighted to see you successfully imaging with the 11”. Congratulations!!
I find it astounding how everything (stars , planets ,galaxy's etc. ) are moving yet NOTHING has ever moved .

@@vijaymanipal8459 What? I don't understand what you're talking about
First time viewer to your channel… that was incredible! I have like many, a deep fascination with space.. the distances, and time truly blow my mind. We are seeing this galaxy as it looked 50,000,000 years ago… Again, mind blown 🤯
I think I’ll watch some more 👏🏼😊
@astrobackyard Something that may help with pixel scaling is binning. Try binning 2x2 and youre pixel size will double so your sampling will be better and faster. You'll get 3x more signal and if you drizzle in processing you won't lose any res either!
Watching this video I felt as if I had been taking that amazing picture myself. I got very excited. Thanks for the video. People who love astronomy appreciate all this very much..
Saludos desde la mitad del mundo!

Wow! Absolutely amazing image, Trevor! And the production value of your video was also top-notch. You are the man!
It’s so annoying have a genuine passion for astronomy but not being able to afford a high end telescope like that
Galactic astronomy is a whole new level of astrophotography!🌌✨
This is my fav. Utube channel... Hope i will start my own astrophotography channel one day
DUDE 👏 the music, the videography, and the audio is on POINT
Another galaxy I saw, omg 😲. I have a canon sx 50 hs, with whom i normally zoom at moon, i have spotted jupiter with it's four visible satellites. But never ever spotted another galaxy. This is simply speechless. I would very much like to watch more & more videos like this. Instantly subscribed. Keep uploading & exploring our universe. I also love what you do.
& another thing, your editing, background music, everything is fantastic.
50 milllion light years away. Still able to capture. 😲😲😲

@astrobackyard on Easter holiday now so I'll hopefully be posting more on my astro channel!!!!!
I bet some one from that galaxy is taking photos of our Milky way galaxy ✌️
Thanks, Always love watching your shows!! :-) I plugged in my mount last night and had reverse polarity on the power input so I fried my board ,...so I am out of the game a week or two. It's nice to watch someone who has been through a bunch of struggles and still enjoys his hobby.

Wow, what a super cool video! Certainly the coolest thing to make my day...
Thank you for posting this.
Nice job, Trevor. I'm basically on the same rig as you (HD11 0.7 294mc and EQ8R-PRO, but doing an OAG). Capturing galaxies with this is so fun! Already grabbed Sombrero and Sunflower, and can't wait to get more. Clear skies and look forward to see what you get next!!!

What a beautiful sight
Incredible shot. The other galaxies around the target added to the shot so much in my opinion.
Can you see that image through your eye piece or just through the computer screen?
Sorry if it’s a dumb question, i am new to this.
Both
@@Snailstolemysoul The guy who made the video answered this question from another user. Through the eye piece, it appears a "faint smudge". What you see on the screen is done by computer enhancements and I'd go as far as to say that it's not even real. The extra detail provided is done through image manipulation and can be done in real time, especially if your telescope and computer are hooked up the internet, using specific software to locate/track the stars. So whatever you're looking at, the SCREEN would display the established lore, whereas you would only see a faint smudge.
@@space_audits Correct, i also do astrophotography.
Astounding image! I love your documenting of the whole process!
With the number of galaxies that we have i’ll be so disappointed if living things only exist on earth. I believe there’s some form of life out there in the galaxies.
Well done sir, well done!!! 50 million Light Years is an easy task with that beauty! Galaxies are the best at showing the Vastness of space. It's awesome that its unfathomable, something we cannot wrap are minds around...but just a little....
That telescope is so cool 🤩
7:54 is that real?
yes
No lol
This blue dryer galaxy is amazing!
So insane!!! So.... damn... insane!!! There could be a planet with life waaaaaaaaay over there... looking back at our galaxy wondering the same thing. Galaxies are so strangely awesome!
Very possible so long as they survived for the 50 million years it took for that light to get to earth.
Nice bro you did great 👍👏😊

scientist 2: blow dryer 👍
How big is your telescope? Mine is a 200mm diameter with f/6 ratio.
It blows my mind to think that there is most definitely, a HUGE chance, of life thriving in that galaxy just as we are. Makes you wonder… is someone looking back at us? I love space 😭

Astrophotography has always been a lifelong passion of mine... and even decades into doing this I get the same emotions I got when i produced my first images 🥲
Just imagine that. Those smoke dust in that galaxy are stars.
You make me want to empty my bank account and start but man there is so much to learn to get to your level.
You don’t have to do that. Just start small and enjoy the journey and the people you meet. I must admit, I’m a gear junkie and love tinkering with cool toys. I always wonder, what would Charles Messier think if he could have had access to this stuff.
The background music at the start is so cool and astonishing.
There are so many lights in my area which disturb my view
