@@marleycymon3512 he appeared to her house for a visit without telling her beforehand, something that is NOT common for the era. Especially bc they aren’t related and were exes. He then hit her with the “you dont look happy” when he didn’t even speak to her all afternoon but rather spoke about his travels and with her husband. There are many reasons as to why Mariana was rightfully irritated with him and she does not owe him to speak to him softly. She hd apologized to him before. She doesn’t need to treat him like glass for the rest of her life because of what she did. She apologized, stood her ground last time, and has moved on. To bring it back to “what she did to him” is unnecessary. Whether he forgives her or not is up to him, but she has spoken to him about it already.
Ok but he wasn't there to confess his love or whatsoever he just wanted to apologize and it was a sweet gesture considering it wasn't him who betrayed her so there was no need to be rude to him

He tried to hit her with the “you are not like other girls, other girls are not a smart” and she hit back with a “is because girls often don’t have the same opportunities and are socialized to care for other things” like the QUEEN she is.

It does show who Anthony is; he goes by the rules. He's been courting the diamond so the diamond he shall have.
And he and Kate might both have feelings, they are denying it, within themselves and towards each other. Anthony definitely does not believe Kate likes him, or ignores it. He wants marriage without love, so that's what he's aiming for.

I just absolutely adore Kate and Anthony together! I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people with so much chemistry/sexual tension between them. I love how in the background you can hear a heartbeat when they get super close to each other. It really adds to the tension between them and the fact that they can’t stay away from each other.

Unfortunately, they don't show Kates's backstory so her motivations are misunderstood. Lady Mary is absent from the show cause she wasn't much of a presence after her husband died. Kate was 18 I think or younger when her father died & as a result, became orphaned as Lady Mary isn't her bio mum. Lady Mary became depressed so kate a child herself had to take on the responsibilities of the household and raising Edwina. I think she has given up so much to ensure their survival she has forgotten about herself. She doesn't know how to put herself first or deal with these emotions. Like Anthony, she has been on her own for a long time with her feelings without anyone to confide in. Lady Mary & Edwina mean well but they have forgotten about Kate as a person in a way.

@@lorettabes4553 You're right, but I think it would have been nice if they had shown some of it though, and edited out some of the stuff with the Featheringtons. You got hints of it through her conversations with Anthony, but it would have been nice to see a moment between Kate and Lady Mary in the past that would have shown us why Kate took that burden on herself.
The show also cut her trauma of seeing her mother die during a monsoon when she was a kid. She buried the memory but still had panic attacks during violent storms, which is why she was in the library to begin with. In the book, she hid under a table and Anthony talked her down. It’s one of my favorite scenes, so I was really sad when they cut it out of the show.
The excitement y'all had at 27:57 was absolutely adorable lmao SAME. It's so fun watching three guys get so into this show.

okay, this may be controversial again, but i firmly believe that marina had every right to do what she did. i like collin, but what was he thinking coming over to this married woman’s house, basically trying to rekindle something. i get that he was cheated and lied to, and marina was definitely wrong, no matter the circumstances. but he was the one who said that he wanted to leave her at the end of season one, and now, after marina is finally settled and seems to be happy, he invited himself over to her home and has the audacity to tell her that he doesn’t think she’s happy? like who does he think he is? i’m sorry, but collin really lost major points with me this episode. marina has finally moved on, from Collin, and from the mindset she was in where she basically wanted to off herself, and no matter how she tricked and deceived him last season, collin still had no right to basically come back begging for her after he left her last season, ESPECIALLY now that she’s married and has children
You speaking FACTS. Any women who hates on Marina is a hypocrite because I highly doubt anyone would have done anything other than what she did. All she wanted was for her and her child to be safe, and have a husband who was kind even if she didn’t love him. She’s such a tragic character and I wish people were at least kind to her.

Yes people tell shit to Marina for being blunt or Daphne doing the same to Anthony in the later epsiode. But they needed someone to be blunt with them because they cannot take a hint and there is no point in sugar coating it.

In the books they always mention how unhinged and how much of a menace hyacinth is and I can’t wait for her to be a more prominent character in the show, I haven’t read hers or Gregory’s books so I’m pretty intrigued what the shows gonna do.

Kate and Edwina's father was originally from India, but he worked as a clerk in London as a young man. He got married and they had Kate, but Kate's mother died. Edwina's mother met him, and they married, but because she married "down" (she was from a noble family and he was not), it was a scandal, so they ran away to India to live outside of society, and he got the job working for the "royal" family as Kate described. He died a few years before the family came to London to try to get Edwina matched and married. BTW, "vex" means irritate or anger. "You vex me!" basically means "you get under my skin!" ;)

This entire season is about yearning boys so you will be waiting a while for a kiss. In this adaptation, kate's dad was a royal secretary with similar duties as a clerk. But the ladies were gossiping in the previous ep so not sure if they knew his true title. I believe he met lady Mary whilst visiting the UK from India and they fell in love and she ran off to India to be with him.
I can't wait to watch these reactions every day; it's truly enjoyable watching you three react to Bridgerton, thanks for putting in all the work of recording and editing all these!

In the book, Anthony never proposed to Edwina. The scene in the garden with the bee is when the two of them get caught and Anthony is forced to marry her otherwise their reputations would be destroyed. Anthony makes it a marriage of convenience and Kate is super miserable in the beginning. The show took the drama from 0 to 100. Makes me feel really bad for Edwina. 😅
I kind of understand why they changed the marriage plot line of this season/book because it's LITERALLY what happened in the first season. They got caught and it was a marriage of convenience to save Daphne's honour.... So I'm glad they changed it to not just be a repeat of season ones conflict cause it's not very good writing otherwise. Lmao.
@@AnxietyRat I can see why they didnt want to do an exact repeat of S1. Thats a valid point. However I just cringe that Anthony & Edwina’s engagement went so far. Had the confrontation between Ant and Kate happened the night before the wedding wouldve been a bit better in my opinion. I do think S2 is better than S1. I only wished that Lady Whisledown’s identity was kept a mystery til S3. In the books the payoff is so worth it.
@@Rckitty I mean the author of the book said that they couldn't keep the identity of whistledown secret because people could just Google the answer so there was no point in trying to keep it secret past season 1. The author was talking about it in an interview that she did so clearly she was okay with the change and understood why it needed to happen in the adaptation. Having a season's long secret that is based off a source material...doesn't work. If the books didn't exist they probably could have drawn out the secret identity past season 1, for sure.
@@AnxietyRat Yeah, Simon and Daphne were caught and had to get married but it quickly became a regular marriage. Also, Anthony immediately agreed to marry Kate. He had been dreaming about her fairly early into knowing her, although he thought Edwina would be easier because he wouldn't fall in love with her. He did not need to fight any duels to marry Kate; he just agreed--in fact, it was his idea. There will be no scandal because we will marry. So it was a variant on the same theme but not totally the same. And it isn't like all eight were going to be this way. There is one I wish hadn't been, definitely.
Edwina was never really interested in Anthony in the book. She was interested in almost the opposite type of guy and could always tell he and Kate belonged together.
Still, I enjoyed this season; it was a very different story, though.
Honey don’t feel bad for Edwina…..both Anthony and Kaye kept telling her that marrying Anthony wouldn’t be a love match and she wouldn’t listen, then she decided to make them spend a day with each other. I mean what did Edwina think would end up happening?
The Featherington storyline (minus Pen) is my only complaint about this season… it took up way too much screen time, which I would have rather had more Kate and Anthony scenes!
I think I am completely in the minority saying I enjoyed it. Especially how Lady Featherington's true character is revealed in the last episode.

What zuf said about Kate looking more beautiful is what list of us started relizing at this time on the show, and rewatching with you I notice it even more that until this episode they dressed Kate in a very strict way with a strict hair and almost no make up look since episode 1 they made her loon less attractive in the first episodes of the seasob while they made edwina stand more with the beautiful feminine gowns all to make edwina shine as the diamond of the season and now they are making Kate shine as well, did you notice how they were only dressing her with boring dark blue gowns mostly while edwina was having the bright shiny dresses, bright make up and look? It was all on purpose and since the 2 or 3 previous episodes they started dressing Kate with beautiful dresses gowns as well and they finaly put a brighter eye make up from episode 4 Kate beauty stands out more than edwina because hse is becoming the main and I love how they did that they literaly made bith actresses shine equally at diferent times they both had their shine time. Between it's really difficult to make the actress playing Kate less attractive she has such unic hypnotic beauty to her, she is even more gorgeous in real life you need to check the interview of edwina, Kate and Penelope, Kate was gorgeous stunning and she looks best with her hair down she has gorgeous hair I mean they were all 3 beautiful, check their interview about the season 2 when you have time, I love zuf's reactions he makes me laugh every time he always says and does the funniest things 😂 while rob and brace look like my young brothers and are as entertaining to watch as zuf it's always a pleasur to watch watch shows along with you on your Chanel and hear your thoughts as well as to see your existment and restons on each scenes keep going it's great to see young friends having such good rule together doing reaction videos to good stuff and having fun watching shows together while sharing your thoughts and levaing place for ecah other to express you're well behaved and chill 👍

I’m a huge Bridgerton fan, and it’s been interesting to get the males perspective on each season. This love story is a roller coaster ride for sure! The actress playing Penelope is Irish from Galway. She puts on an upper class English accent here and a good Dublin accent to the printers. I actually thought she was from Dublin it's so good.

Because you seem to like Bridgerton a lot you could put Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 version with Keira Knightley) on your watch list. It's one of the best Jane Austen films out there.

I thought the wait for a kiss in season 1 was bad!!! Season 2 about KILLED me!! It’s so much better!!
but the kiss was not for me, it was disappointing, not what i was expecting after all the wait and heat. a very weird circumstance and then the ep ends and the next one starts like what???? there were so many more interesting moments they could use. being honest the first kiss wasn't good in any of the seasons, at least Simon's and Daphne one has a more interesting setting and context, more exciting one. but other than that i found the acting weird, Simon was like a vampire in her neck. And Kanthony glued their mouths and didn't move, just the camera going around.

Johnny Bailey (Anthony) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) worked together on one of her previous to Flebag projects, called Crashing. It's a very odd, strange, short bingable show.
It feels like what Phoebe needed to make in order to reach Fleabag.
I watched it and I actually loved it, specifically Johnny's portrayal of his character. He is weirdly brilliant there (and everywhere else let's be honest that's one great actor).
Phoebe's character is called Lulu and feels like the predecessor to Fleabag, which is why I said it has a similar feel. But Johnny's character is soooooo very different. The range is insane 😂

He went to Greece, swore off women, he clearly wasn't over her yet. Marina has a good life now, with 2 kids, she doesn't need him to come sweep her away. He's young, and needed to hear her words so he can move on.

Brandon Lee tragically got shot on the set of the movie due to a prop gun with a piece of left over blank bullet residue, the crew thought Brandon was playing joke when scene was over and when he was laying on the floor he wasn’t moving but when they got closer they saw it was serious and rushed Brandon Lee to the hospital, the doctors did everything they could but it was too late Brandon Lee passed away at the age of 28.
Some scenes aren’t Brandon it’s his body double Chad Stahelski, Chad is the director of the John Wick franchise. The director of The Crow Alex Proyas had too cut and add new scenes for the movie because of happened to Brandon. They also CGI Brandon Lee face on too Chad face and the makeup artist made a face mask of Brandon face for chad to wear. All scenes were they don’t show Brandon Lee face it’s Chad
Brandon was supposed get married to his fiancée Eliza Hutton after The Crow finished filming.
After Brandon was supposed to get married Brandon was going to a sign a two-year deal to continue The Crow storyline. The Crow is comic book/graphic novel created by James O'Barr.
Before entering the Marines, O'Barr's fiancée Beverly had been killed by a drunk driver.
While living in Berlin in 1981, O'Barr began work on his comic The Crow as a means of dealing with his personal tragedy.
O'Barr was further inspired by a Detroit newspaper account of the murder of a young couple over a $20 engagement ring.
In The Crow, the protagonist, Eric and his fiancée Shelly are murdered by a gang of criminals. Eric then returns from the dead guided by a supernatural crow, to hunt their killers.
After his discharge from the Marines O'Barr continued his painting and illustration as well as doing various odd jobs.
The Crow sat on a shelf for seven years but at last he found a publisher with Gary Reed of Caliber Press.
The first miniseries was published in 1989. The Crow has since sold more than 750,000 copies worldwide.

You guys are clueles, for example in the library scene you can talk how he stays on the doors almost ashamed to see her at that time of night in her nightgown but eventually after hesitating he decides to go inside the room and that presents that he’s open to whatever comes next with her, because at the end he is utterly and magnetically driven to her…and yet you choose to that kind of things: “weird bruh”
i read the books after i watched season two........ im so weirded out rn that sir philip crane made an appearance. they took a character from the books that is specific to one book, and added him to the story early and bizarrely. it is almost as if they didnt know if they would be granted making all books film and threw random darts at the board.
