I want to start by saying that none of this Justifies Jaime's actions. I think what we see from him in this season is the culmination of a lifetime of well hidden trauma. His whole life has been in service to everyone else. He served his family, his king, the realm, Cersei, everyone. But he's never been asked what he wants or how he feels. He's the golden child and has had to live up to that his whole life. Not even Cersei gives a shit about his desires or needs, even she simply sees him as a tool to acquire her goals. After losing a hand and nearly his life, I think perspective has hit Jaime sidelong. From a very skewed and hurt perspective, his actions now are about seizing some sort of control for himself and trying to serve his own needs above others for once. Now, he's gone about it in about the worst ways possible, but at the same time the world has been doing the same to him. I like game of thrones because the characters are based in reality, despite the insanity. Most of what they do or the choices they make, are based on their personal experience and skewed world view. Just like real life. Too many shows and books have the characters act for the sake of the plot and nothing else. Say what you will about George R.R. But he knows how to write a character from a psychological point of view.

@shadypelican Cersei was certainly not the better player. Imo, her "winning" was hilariously bad writing indicative of the show starting its fall from grace. Realistically, her openly murdering the popular Queen, the Hand of the King (who also happened to be the head of House Lannister), the Lord Paramount of the Reach, and the High Septon along with hundreds of nobles and clerics, while simultaneously destroying the holiest site in the faith, all this while being widely disdained already, would've gotten her lynched. She'd have never got away with declaring herself Queen while lacking any claim under such circumstances. She p*ssed off basically every region of Westeros, and thus lined up all the armies against her (she had nobody loyal to her bar Jaime and Qyburn... even the Boltons were openly moving against her by taking Sansa) and was ceaselessly wreckless. Cersei makes decisions on emotional impulse, often out of spite or jealousy. These decisions often backfire (arming the faith militant, or example). She's arrogant and imagines herself of superior intellect. I feel the scene she has with Tywin sums it up nicely. She suggests she is the Lannister child who has best paid attention to him and would carry on his legacy, insinuates he's overlooked her because she's a woman, and then complains about Margaery having influence over Joffrey. Tywin essentially replies that he's glad Margaery can control Joffrey, and wishes Cersei were able to, before telling her his distrust for her has nothing to do with her gender and that its because "you're not as smart as you think you are." Tywin was right. Much as he despised Tyrion, he knew Cersei wasn't to be trusted running things in King's Landing and so sent Tyrion to babysit as acting hand in his stead (Cersei knew that's what Tywin was doing, too, and thus had a tantrum when Varys confirmed it). Cersei was, frankly, too self-centered, spiteful, impulsive, and arrogant to succeed at the game of thrones in the long run. She was awful at making others want to support her, and usually made no effort to do so. By S8 (if we want to include the latter seasons) we have her refusing to support Dany and Co. against the White Walkers, despite knowing they're real, and thus risking the fate of all of humanity, on a gamble that the battle would weaken Dany. Cersei armed the faith militant to be rid of Margaery without considering that her own list of sins would be FAR more grievous in the eyes of fundamentalists, and was then humiliated by them and forced to take a walk of shame. Margaery never took a walk of shame, instead she duped the High Sparrow into thinking her faithful. I hear most of the stuff filmed in westeros is in Ireland, but some of it is in some other countries. Most of the stuff near the wall is elsewhere, but the warmer parts of westeros, I believe was Ireland
Feeling confused over Jamie is normal. He is one of the most conflicting characters on the show and most relatable because he's so human. He has good and bad qualities. Very few people in the word are like Ned Stark.
I think craster had an agreement with the nightking and the whitewalkers that they leave him alone as long as he keeps providing baby’s for their army. Whitewalkers and especially the nightking aren’t just undead killing machines they are actually smart and calculating so craster was useful to them. And the women at the keep knew that especially the older ones. So they probably saw no other way than to offer the baby up since they feared that otherwise the ww would attack them. As scary as the nightwatch deserters are, the ww are scarier. Also I believe that is the main reason why craster was the only one who didn’t join Mace Raiders march to the wall. He wasn’t just the stubborn old prick, refusing to give up his keep, he knew he would be relatively safe anyway the way he’s been handling things.
Kinda weird since it's never really been an issue before. For example, Mila Kunis was 14 and Aston Kutcher was 20, but they made out all the time in that 70s show.
There's also a brief close up on Olenna as she watches Tyrion bring the cup to Joffrey. Another thing I liked about that scene, all the foreshadowing was done really well. It was just the right level of subtle
23:45 to be fair, the women know that’s the only reason the white walkers leave them alone. If the hadn’t sacrificed the baby, they may have been attacked by the white walkers that night.
Totally random, but I've made a game of trying to hit the beat when the music comes back on in your intro 🤣 Also totally random: I like the way you curled your long strands inward and your bangs outward. Looks pretty
I don't know how Hannah comes up to the conclusion that Jaime is in love with Brienne when it's pretty clear that the adoration he has for her is platonic.
Good point. I know a lot of people like to say oh Dion didn't actually kill those kids so he's all good now. No he's still did kill some kids. It just wasn't the two kids we thought he killed
OMG, Hannah. You are like almost perfect, know what I mean? heh Don't worry about what others say, you reactions are fun. Just be yourself and don't worry about what other's think.
Jaime grape scene with Cerci never happened in the books. On books it was consensual. HBO just threw it in there for shock value, that’s why it seems out of nowhere.
Same for Dany and Drogo. If I recall correctly, she was low key into him in the books, even on their first night together. The weird grape/slave to romance arc they do in the show was so unnecessary.
@@ShastaMusicyeah it was much more complicated. Both scenes are. Dany and Drogo is still technically noncon in the books and in the beginning of the scene Dany is terrified of him. But it is still a tender scene by the end, nothing at all like the awful scene in the show. Same for Jamie and Cercei it's messed up in the books and Cercei does originally say no, but flips to something akin to "hurry up, do it now". There's a symbolic purpose to that scene in the books too. D&D don't seem to understand nuance in intimate situations, and this isn't me accusing anybody of anything but it does raise an eyebrow 🤷
@@ShastaMusic Dany and Drogo was still messed up in the books since she was 13 and shoving Drogo's fingers in her. The scene in the show was one of the few changes that made more sense
FUN FACT: Lady Olenna Tyrell actress Diana Rigg (RIP) in her younger days actually looked like she could be related to actress Natalie Dormer (granddaughter Margaery Tyrell). Check out a picture of her and see what you think.
It's not clear from the show, but Bran's power to warg into an animal is MUCH harder to do with a human host. The only reason he's able to get into Hodor's head is because Hodor's mind is damaged and he can't focus enough to resist, and Jojen, who knows a lot about this stuff, was still amazed that he managed it. In the book, there's a scene (not in the TV show so no spoilers) in which another skin-changer is in a desperate situation and tries to warg into a fully functional human. Even though this skin-changer is MUCH more experienced than Bran, the human manages to resist the control and kill themselves in absolute horror before the warg can get control of them. There is a HUGE taboo amongst the wildlings against warging into ANY human.

Sorry, I've just written a whole essay. You don't need to read all that. I kinda just get carried away with this stuff sometimes 😆
Been waiting🙂 thanks for the vid Hannah
Im watching this while on holiday at the city were they recorded some of the Meereen scenes. I can see the castle from the balcony.
taking out my braids and watching my girl Hannah, let’s go ❤❤
I’m a simple man. I see Hannah upload, I drop what I’m doing and tune in.
Hey Hannah, I've been bingeing your reactions to GOT. They're phenomenal. You may miss a "line" or two occasionally, but your cuts to your analysis and commentary is very entertaining. You've picked up or caught a TON of Easter eggs. Your media comprehension and 6th sense is fantastic when itching a "bad feeling". Great stuff.
I do hope you finish season 6 soon. 6 and 4 were by far my favorite.
Also, @justtrustash should convince you to cosplay as Poison Ivy (batman's villain).
King's Landing locations are in Croatia 🇭🇷
Ohhhh, watching this again... I cannot wait for you to see the badass Olenna truly is. ❤❤❤
The fact you are so self aware about what you say and how many times you say it makes me respect a love you so much lol.
Rewatch the red wedding and watch the interaction between Sansa and olenna and you see her take the stone from her necklace
That's not the Red Wedding. Red Wedding is when the Starks got wiped out
Purple wedding
Hey Hannah, Im so sorry to hear u've been ill, but glad ur feeling better. Thanx for sharing info on ur film "My Day". Just went and watched the trailer, I'll def be watchin'. 12:33 🌹I missed the “grow[ing] strong” reference my first time through
Always a good day when HANNAH drops a GoT vid!! 🎉
Cheers 🥂
Keep up the fabulous work 🤩
She's back!!!!
No idea how old he's supposed to be in the show but in the book Tommen is EIGHT!!
Aw so good Ash let you leave his channel for us 😊
It’s been a year now and hannah still didn’t finish game of thrones 😅
Has it only been a year?? I thought we were going at a one season a year pace 😂😅 😝 take ur time Hanna we just playing hahahah 😝 she prolly stressing seeing the comments teasing her lmao
Even if you did one a week, you wouldn’t finish it in a year. How many should she do a week?
Dont trust Hannah.
Fucking Hurry up Hannah.
She’s still making more progress than George Martin is on the next book 😂
Lets go Captain, shes so into it now
I just watched the intro of your Movie “My Day”. So far, It’s Aces!!! Love it and plan to watch the rest when I get home. Please let us know if you have any other movies please. ❤❤❤
Hannah say whatever you like. I love your reactions 😊
I loveeeee your reactions….always fun to watch…..you look amazing today
Oh woah I didn’t know you were an actress!!! I just out My Day on my watchlist!!! 🎉❤
I dont know if anyone mentioned Nana Tyrell used to be a bombshell. She played Emma Peel in the avengers tv show back in the 60s
04:44 It was a this moment... she got my like! Lov U Gal! You got got me on that
The actress that played Margaery didn't wanna kiss the actor playing Tommen because he was under age
Kinda weird since it's never really been an issue before. For example, Mila Kunis was 14 and Aston Kutcher was 20, but they made out all the time in that 70s show.
Loved the reaction as usual ❤️ 🤙
Watched My Day. It was just ok, but Hannah was legit convincing in her role. Worth a watch.
Oh my God! Another episode dropped!
Luv your reactions Hannah
Girl say less just paused and added “My Day” to my watchlist
Hannah please do more!
8:55 that's a good point 🤔
Don’t say woah, when ya gotta go! 😅👍
If you go back and watch for it, you can see Olenna take the poison from Sansa's necklace and put it in Joffrey's drink on camera
No you can't... they didn't even filmed those said things, why are you lying? what do you gain? Why people like you exist??
There's also a brief close up on Olenna as she watches Tyrion bring the cup to Joffrey. Another thing I liked about that scene, all the foreshadowing was done really well. It was just the right level of subtle
That's Awesome You seen a Actor you worked with!! On GOT🤘🤯 As always Enjoy the ride 🔥🐲
Your videos are the *greatest.* 😄😄😄
Olenna Tyrell is one of my favorite characters in this whole thing, she's awesome.
23:45 to be fair, the women know that’s the only reason the white walkers leave them alone. If the hadn’t sacrificed the baby, they may have been attacked by the white walkers that night.
Great reaction as always!
None of the guys have a problem hearing you say 'OMG'. Ask Ash.
Kings Landings Filming Location was in Croatia
Totally random, but I've made a game of trying to hit the beat when the music comes back on in your intro 🤣
Also totally random: I like the way you curled your long strands inward and your bangs outward. Looks pretty
Let's Goo, More GOT!!!
It’s always been referred to in the US as a fwedgie (front wedgie), cos we don’t use the word, “flange”, but funny that it rhymes, though
FYI, Dany's hair was done with wigs... that's why it always looks great...😉
OMG, Hannah. You are like almost perfect, know what I mean? heh
Don't worry about what others say, you reactions are fun. Just be yourself and don't worry about what other's think.
Dude, I didn’t know you were an actress. I’m watching My Day right now and HOLY SHIT! Well done! 👏
21:54 Oh my god XD
So cool you're an actress. Love you
Jaime grape scene with Cerci never happened in the books.
What episode is Hannah on, on Patreon?
21:47 A door slowly cracking open
6:15 as you say, "nothing in the contract here." 😏
Definitely start watching Top Boy, one of the best series to ever come out of the UK
