Hi just found your Chanel, you have given me a few good ideas for my 98 Cb 600 ,first big bike ,and a very limited budget, hope you can still carry on with your Chanel ,keep up your good works
@@S09Engineering meny thanks for getting back to me ,,I'm looking at changing my bars on my cbr 600 it's a 98 oldy but a goody, would a top yoke from cb hornet 600 98 model' fit my cbr , I'm having to do it on very limited budget ,not really liking the idea of drilling, but if needs must ,,,meny thanks with any help
Ryan, I recently bought a 2021 CB500F and was wondering if you were considering losing the bulky fairings on the side of the gas tank. I think I would look great, except there is a ton of exposed tubes and wires (I think) under those fairings. Have you thought about this issue at all? Just curious and would consider any solutions you have to address streamlining this bike's gorgeous tank. Thanks.
I'm going to keep the fairings. I like them for some reason. I know several guys have removed them and were able to hide the wiring without too much hassle. At some point I may consider making some panels to help hide stuff when the fairings are removed.
@@S09Engineering found it! Looking to purchase a headlight and a speedometer set as well! I will be in touch. I am excited to add this modification on my CB500f, all thanks to you sir! Awesome work.
Put my order in for the headlight and mounting bracket 🤘. Did you add fork braces when you removed the front wheel fender? Or just left it as is? Also did you have to take the front wheel off or can you remove fender without doing that?
Thank you for your order! That must be the one I shipped yesterday. I have not added a fork brace, but that sounds like a good idea I should look into. When I got the bike there was no fender. I bet you do not need to remove the wheel to get the fender off.
Yea that must be the one. Already arriving Monday, I'm super happy with the shipping speed. Oh I figured you removed the fender for the looks. I hate how bulky it is, but so far have had no luck finding a good brace or replacement@@S09Engineering
Do you think it would have been possible to use a CB300 headlight and do you know if the dash from the 500 would fit into the same area as the CB300 dash?
@@S09Engineering Yea I like the cb500 but I'd like the round headlight better than Transformers face looking headlight they put on them, I'd even use the cb300 dash if it worked easy with simple plug in and go but I'm not sure about how compatible these parts are
I am planning my 2015 cb500f cafe racer right now! Those mounting brackets are perfect for what I need! Are they the same for the 2015? Can't wait to see what you do to the seat frame.
Did you have a dyno tune after adding the full exhaust and if not does it still run well? Thinking of going that route on my 370 pound seriously naked F. > www.cbr500riders.com/threads/my-seriously-naked-2017-cb500f-mods-and-upgrades.74381/
I have seen your build around the internet. Well done! I didn't dyno it. It still has the stock exhaust with a Coffman shorty. The cat is most of the restriction. Basically the same setup you have in your thread. I do want to get a full exhaust on at some point.
If you have any other ideas for custom CB500F parts let me know!
YES YES YES YEA YES YES YES YES
Thanks!

Welcome aboard! I don't have any plans to quit. Progress in the garage will pick up now that the weather is getting cooler.

Love the mods! I picked up a 2016 cb500f and will most likely order those tires and get a new headlight like yours. Really like the set up!
Glad you like them!
@@S09Engineering Love your videos and plan to order the same for 2016. If you can show me more pics in the next video on your finished mod.
I need that bracket so bad.
For sure! You can contact me through the website if you want. I don't have anything posted yet, but we can figure something out.
Me too, but I’ll need postage to Australia.
@Eduardo Corrochio we can figure out shipping. I'm glad you guys like it!
@@S09Engineering Make that another order for Australia dood!! This is perfect. Keep the vid's coming.
The subframe and the seat are next!

Very cool mods, have you figured out a solution for the front turn signals? Thanks for the vids!
I'm currently using a headlight with integrated turn signals.
Hey Ryan, are you going to show the turn signal reinstall?
@Quill B I haven't put turn signals back on it yet. I am slowly working on a new rear sub-frame. I will show it when it happens.
I just got a,2019 cb 500X ..was thinking how it might look nude..cool
Big fan of your work! Bike looks great! I have the same model and hope to modify my bike as well!
I appreciate that! Let me know if you have any questions.
@@S09Engineering sounds good sir! Appreciate that!
Where can I purchase one of these?

Do you have bracket for the 19 and newer CBs?
I do not. I believe they would need to be quite a bit different.
Doing a scrambler build on my 2014 CB500 and need this braket badly. Is it up for sale? I live in Florida.
Thanks!!
@Jake Goldberg I just posted the presale on the website.

@@S09Engineering awesome! Thank you so much! When do you think these will ship?
@@superyosi1341 it depends on the machine shop, but hopefully around May 7th.
Can you swap that CB500F gauge cluster with a different one? Like the cb500 one that is Amber instead?
I would guess that if it's from the same generation it should work fine. However, I am not sure.
Have you ever taken the subframe off the bike?
Not all the way. Just enough to get a good 3d scan.
I would like to pre order a black bracket.
@Carlo I will let you know when I have a pre-order listing ready. Thanks for your interest.
@Carlo the preorder is up on the website!

Any updates to this build?
Lots of plans, but no actual progress. The subframe and seat are next. I'll get back to making videos sometime soon hopefully.

You should sell your parts on eBay
I have thought about it. Is there some reason that is better than my shopify store?
@@S09Engineering just easier for some people to order on eBay
