This is insane!! I literally just started magnesium as well! Parallel lives
OMG we are connected
Love that you’re reviewing other stuff too Alex. I’m into nutrition, vitamins, minerals etc. we should all be taking a little extra magnesium as we don’t get enough in our foods.
I take magnesium glycinate for anxiety and it helps loads. Hasn’t really helped too much with my sleep to be honest but I feel a lot calmer since I’ve supplemented.
There’s a few different forms of magnesium and they all have different functions. This is one of the best and most absorbable forms.
Would love to hear more of the lifestyle type videos too.
And that’s always perfect advice to always start at the minimum dose and work your way up.
I’m so glad this works for you. I know loads of people that take it and it helps them to sleep. I think my brain is just too wired 😂
I’ve always been curious about the effects this may have. Nice to know it does indeed help 🙂
i have been too and i am so glad i tried it!
@@AlexGreyson I’ve heard melatonin can bring on some crazy bizarre dreams so I’ve avoided going down that route haha. Glad there are some other options.
@@jayrhs YES! i have personally noticed that to be true! i am glad we have got this option as well
❤❤❤
Lots of people are magnesium deficient like 75% in the western world. Due to our soil being depleted and eating a sad diet. Magnesium is needed for more then 300 processed in our body. For people who are vitamin D deficient take magnesium because magnesium is needed for vitamin D to get activated. So if your vitamin D deficient you are most likely already magnesium deficient. Also i prefer magnesium chloride oil on the body it’s the same stuff thats in the ocean that why i believe it’s most bio available to us. The pill are good if you can’t sh!t XD. But if you do prefer pills take bisglycinate or glycinate and look for the cleanest one. There is a wonderful book about magnesium that will blow your mind it’s called magnesium miracle.
Can you tell more about what do you mean cleanest one? I'm bit confused
By that i mean check if there are no extra filler agent that should not be in there. That's why i use magnesium chloride oil it's just water and magnesium chloride @@shilpajoseph2286
How much magnesium we need to take for 5000iu vitamin d?
I take magnesium glycinate and I still feel groggy in the morning. Any advice I take 125mg.
Take 200
@@David-my5ts Thank you
Magnesium is pro- catabolic not anabolic (like potassium) so it is better to take mag during the day and potassium for sleep. ua-cam.com/video/6rDn9RK43cc/v-deo.htmlsi=LXCNS3mx8zUfc3Ds
I have been taking two mag glycinate before bed along with NAC and could NOT for the life of me fall and stay asleep . I’ve heard it can have the opposite effect so no more before bed . I’m going to take it late morning now to see the difference. I slept better last night not taking it
@@Christinesobsevations 400 mg of potassium is amazing for sleep :)
It’s a catalyst for catabolic and anabolic processes. There isn’t a distinction between one or the other in how it performs. Neither does the role of potassium in the bodily function.
