Yes, to a M&S denim try on. You are a great way to start a Sunday morning, and thank you for not being so trend focused. I love the carrot/barrel jean. About 3 years ago I bought from AYR a pair of barrelish jeans. At that time people commented on the odd shape. I loved them then and even more now.

Yep- I live in Greece and have done for over 40 years. Over that time, the climate has definitely changed and it would be quite nice to have a winter at last ! I hardly wore a thick coat last year.

I only can wear trousers with elastic waists, at least at the back. I’m slim, but the waistline thickens with menopause and nothing can be done about it.🙂

Great video again! Love side stripe trousers, and M&S are doing some great Me + Em dupes! My autograph cashmere crewneck is a staple in my wardrobe.
As far as man made fibres and breathability goes, sportswear is often both, I don't know what the difference is between normal polyester and the sweat wicking versions in sportswear, though.
Best & personal favorite transitional (summer to fall) pieces are denim jacket, denim skirt , linnen pants (thicker woven linnen) & a raffia bag (which surprisingly works really well as you choose the right fabrics =1 & 2 with dark tones as a it is very unexpected)

Would love a video about all the M&S denim Emma! Whenever I come into their denim department, I get overwhelmed and leave 🤣
Order it online in a variety of sizes to be delivered to a foodhall near you and then try them on in the luxury of your own home. Pro tip - use a credit card earlier on in the credit card month so any credit goes back in before the month tiles over. Then just pay the full price for the one you kept when the bill comes. Always make sure to return them within the allotted returns time (which is generous) and that you can afford the bill 😊.

I think the ‘air’ and ‘cloud’ items are referring to the type of yarn used- in wool industry these tend to be blown yarns- where the main fibre is blown in to a tube of cotton for example. These trap air so they are lighter weight and warm.

I do have some M&S trousers in my wardrobe, but I do find the cut and fit a bit hit an miss sometimes. Always styled beautifully online, when I get the pieces home, they don't fit too well around the waist hip area. My advice - order various sizes and lengths if shopping online.
Would definitely love an M&S denim range comparison and review. I found their skinny jeans needed constant pulling up in the changing room and they might have had too much elastane in them, so I passed. But I suffer with big hips and smaller waist, gap issue.

Yes please to M and S denim video. Love wearing denim , but hate trying it instore, so I order several pairs in various colours and styles to try at home. Just wish I looked as good as you do in trousers! Age 72, 5' 5", still a size 10 through a lot of exercise and careful eating. Still, if the Queen can wear denim .....

I just bought the navy crepe trousers, they aren't too baggy in the waist or thigh so a bit more fitted, and are not too wide that it's difficult to walk in, and the short length is perfect to hit the floor with flats I'm 5"4. I like them too, and they are well priced at 29.50

Love this kind of video, i cant wait for autumn🍁🍂🍃. But a lot of the top pieces have dropped shoulders and that is not a good look on me (large bust) and it drives me bananas under outerwear. But love your content.

Hi Emma. I do like some of M&S basics but I’m not keen on the cargo trousers which sit on the ankle- they always seem to look as if they’ve shrunk! However, I do really appreciate their sizing and different length choices. I grew up with ‘St Michael’ clothing and M&S always has a special place in my heart. Thank you Emma for showing us the new in autumn wear and I’d really love a whole denim Jean video showing all the various styles. Happy September!💛🌻

I’m with you on this one, Emma, I can’t stand a polyester lining! Plastics like polyester are so unsuitable for clothing because they don’t breathe. Plus, I’m allergic to plastics. It’s not easy to find clothes with viscose, lyocell or rayon linings, but I keep trying. Banana Republic usually has some jackets and coats with them, fortunately. I bought four winter coats there last year because of the rayon linings and 100% wool outer fabric. I noticed they’ve been pushing polyester satin clothes this summer, I hope this isn’t where they’re heading. If brands object to the additional expense for the viscose fabric (just a few pennies per garment more than poly), they can just charge $20 more for it per garment, it’s well worth it to me. I don’t buy anything with synthetics in it, and there are millions of others who won’t either. I just buy from better-quality, if higher-priced, brands, like BR and Theory.

Hi Emma. Just found you on UA-cam and really enjoying your M&S try on. Liking everything so far (apart from Autograph jumper ... looks as if it would go baggy on washing), as classic styles any age can wear. We get to see the prices when you show us the item on your laptop, but would it be possible for you to mention the price at the end of each item that isn't shown on your laptop please? Many thanks.

I bought 3 jumpers last year that all bobbled. Not cheap either.
Unfortunately that is the nature of some fibres and doesn't necessarily mean that the quality of the garment was poor. I do have a whole video on my channel dedicated to caring for garments that may help reduce, or at least address, any bobbling if you were interested 👍

I do try and add the price in the video (although sometimes I forget) and usually don't have enough space left in the description box to add them all (as you only get a limited number of characters 🤦♀️) but I will certainly try to remember ❤️
