We were reminded that "luxury" is not always in material things. Rather, most luxuries are found in a peace of mind. Well, you can certainly have that AND a great BANG for your buck with quality and affordable living right here in Kenya!

Foreigners are overcharged because they are perceived to be all wealthy. Whichever country one prefers to locate to, make friends with locals and visit the country and spent time before deciding to relocate. Locals can help you know if one is being overcharged or being taken advantage off.
In Kenya it's not easy to overcharge house rent due to high competition and it's not even norm. There is standard price everywhere you go including hotels, supermarkets n malls.. not unless u go to places like Eastleigh ( market place)where you got to bargain to get a product. That's normal in business world!
Good job relocating. I can't blame you, especially if you're treated better.
Maybe not "luxury" as many think, but you have a peace of mind, which is priceless
Yes, and a peace of mind is a LUXURY.
East or west, home is best. Karibu nyumbani ndugu (welcome home bro).
The second one is dope. The only downside is the lack of an escalator.
Greetings my beloved Residential Tourists, thanks for showing us the more common apartment facilities there in Mombasa. I have an excellent view on my seventy inch 4K HD TV. Surely those vacancies are suitable for those wanting less expensive or non luxury style arrangements. I have setup donations to your PayPal account in support of the hard work you both are doing there and surely others will do likewise. CONGRATS to you both for getting in on the new scramble for Africa and doing what other groups won’t do and that’s, give back to the Kenyan people. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for your continuous support!
"Luxury" means a lot of things to many people. However what matters is the quality of life.
Nowadays you can get similar things all over the world, even if they cost more. There's also the fact that a lot of places are developing, so you're able to get what you need.
In the past when Kenya was less developed, it was harder to adjust, but for many people it's easier coming from the West, although it has its differences.
The Western world is becoming unaffordable for the average person. It's getting to the point where fewer will live a satisfying life.
People are paying $1200-$3000/month for a 1 bedroom, along with at least another $500-$1000+ in basic expenses, such as utilities and food. Add in a vehicle, your expenses can easily be $3000-$6000/month, and you're nowhere near in luxury. You're just living paycheck-to-paycheck.
Where I work I see A LOT of shoplifting also on the news too and I just turn a blind eye so many people are on the edge of losing it and I can't say I blame them.
Real truth!!!
I would imagine that it is more cheaper when its not furnished...I rather have it unfurnished cause I don't like sitting or sleeping on something that's who knows how many people have sat on and slept on...but this was a good video!!!
Love your content! Tell them there are various different apartments for rentals and ownership, Bungalows and maisonettes for rentals n ownership... each pricing depends on location, size, environment, building materials, 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That was amazing!!
TRT thank you for showing the houses available. I will be relocating to Kenya in a few months time.
You guys have really out did yourself!!! Wow...that second apartment is my style...I love how it has so much light
BEAUTIFUL…THANKS FOR SHOWING US MORE OPTIONS…❤❤❤❤❤
A 2br and 3br apartment for $273.50 and $307.90 a month respectively is not bad at all considering that there's so much to do at the Coast, eg. boat rides, swimming, beach walks, restaurants, dolphins, whales, fishing, etc. If you spend too much on housing then you'll end up staycationing and missing out. You don't want that, do you?
People of like minds who don't have family can also share to reduce cost. It probably would even be better to share growing pains with someone you are familiar with until you know your way around.
Can’t beat those prices. If you work remote for a American company you set
True!
I worked for an American company while I lived in the outskirts of Mombasa ( Kilifi) once in a while you do get employment out there.
@taluj2298 send us the info please
It looks like Mkomani area in Nyali, near to Cinemax. Rents given seem about right for that area, i believe
Yes. It is Mkomani area👍🏾
Man, we are getting robbed over here in the states 😡. A clean, simple life by the ocean. I’m so used to living in modern high rises. I need to change my mindset for retirement. Thank you for showing us what is possible! 🙏🏾
Thanks for sharing. You are really helping us.
Residential Tourists Sana!!!
I appreciate you both.
Thank you for explaining the sink in the open rooms. I wonder about it at the first apartment.
Thanks for showing this, it must have taken a lot of effort. Much appreciated
Love the doors to the entry and each bedroom
360.00 a month! For that view! 3br 3ba. I WILL STAY IN Mombasa forever❤❤ Give us the contact please.
Oh man, the 2nd one could have been so beautiful but ! Man on the 4th floor , ocean view but bars e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e
I hate bars
@@TheResidentialTourists We can have the bars removed.
Most places don't have utilities, refrigerator, oven, washer and dryer included. I think the first gentleman may not have been answering your question when he said utilities are included. Probably better to ask if water and electricity bills are paid for. I don't know if we now commonly refer to those as utilities.
Iam so glad this something different and it may be good for someone who may be interested and there is more.
I loved the last one it's was great with good sea breeze 👌 is a perfect prize for that house.
These apartments can possibly give someone a chance to start a new life in Kenya. You know it can be a budget nightmare if you have to over extend yourself before you know more about the city many have found out the hard way.
I think you for sharing such marvelous apartments. Such hard work you do. I am disable. I know this is a crazy questions. But do they have elevators in any of those buildings there? Even the hotels. I have not seen any elevators. I know it a different type of living there. What about people who have pets. I seen goats and cows, but what about dogs and cats? Probably a silly question to ask. Peace and Blessings.
There are cats and dogs. There are lifts too. it's actually a rule in Kenya that you must add a lift for a building with more than 5 floors. If you have pets you just have to look for a place thats conducive for them
@@TrizaBundi I do appreciate you answering my questions. Thank you 😊.
Our apartment have elevators and pets are allowed.
@@janetpowell9811 thankyou. But keep in mind there are places that might get away with not adding the elevators. And the elevators are not as common as they are in the west, maybe mostly in cities and big towns. So it might be abit challenging for a person abled differently
@janetpowell9811 if your really considering moving to mombasa hit us up @adilahsrelocationservice@gmail.com We can make sure you find what you need before hand.
For that price range that bathroom set up is standard.
Hi Guys nice views from the high rise, didn’t see any way to escape a fire with the window bars.
Good observation
This information has helped put into perspective what might be the average rental prices for potential real estate investor who's looking at renting out to working class locals
The second apartment(3 bedroomed)is actually 310 $
If in need of some suite Tour in Tudor mombasa we can connect family
Check Tudor Mombasa a little bit cheaper than Nyali
Buxton point houses at Buxton area are more luxurious at almost the same price. Pls check em out
We have but the ones for sale
I felt led to tell you guys this, its going to be a great famine coming on the land, so try to purchase a responsible property for you and the family, and be very careful with your money, may God continue to bless 🙏 you all in Jesus name, also make sure there is enough space where you can have a garden.
Thank you very much! The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us to prepare for such a time. It is within our training that we have survival preparations. Truly appreciate your care and concern. Blessings to you!
@@TheResidentialTourists you are welcome 😊 🙏

I enjoyed the video. please show more
The staircase will be a daily workout
Lol. For sure🤦🏾♂️
Very nice apartments 👍🏾
Those Stairs will get you

Poor design in the bathrooms where the doors once opened hit the sink.
Change your expectations. It happens very often

Great Works Fam..
Hi. Thanks. While you are talking please show your surroundings. You are a lovely couple but we see you all the time. Thanks
What are the price range?
I know you guys had a 🥰 nice place in rwanda.😝
Although I think Rwanda homes are much nicer.
We say the prices in the video
@@sarafinalove5330nope. They are showing you mass market/ average places. They can as well show you the high end places and it will clearly be way more expensive than Rwanda and the average tourist.
Dont know why that climbing the stairs music got me laughing so hard. Some comic 😅 timing going on.
We live in a time Singapore I was offered a Job to write finances NFT I'm just a Chef and family were Farmers USA And yes Kenya or Africa Has been always a victim of A Brutal Swaziland America Apartheid Military
200 for that 1st one right down my alley
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 stunning
The second apartment much nicer. Does that building has elevator?
No🫣
That's why we are not overweight and don't exercise a lot like the western countries. Because we eat healthy, walk from our homes to the bus station, climb stairs etc, etc. Kenya is a nice country and for years to come it'll definitely be the place everyone will be fighting to land here.
@@StevoGitz I guess seniors would likely not live in a highrise building without elevator. Only young people,🤔 ha
@@sarafinalove5330 In Kenya there is something for everyone and for every budget. You wouldn't be disappointed for sure if you come.
I like them but are supposed to take a shower in the middle of the floor ?
🤦🏾♀️
Can you give names of areas please.
Mombasa nyali
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
Do you pay 3 months in advance there?
No just 1 mth sec 1 mth rent
Which country in Africa is this ?
Mombasa, Kenya
For people new here it would be nice to know WHAT city you are showcasing as "affordable." MUCH later in this video you mention "Africa." Now let us GUESS WHICH city in the CONTINENT of Africa you are talking about here??? SMH ! 🤔
Mombasa, Kenya. Pardon the omission. Thanks for pointing that out, and thank you for your viewership👍🏾.
What is this , the nerve of these 2 trying to pass this off as luxury living
Please reread the title🤦🏾♀️
This are for the average person. not the luxury apartments.
