I do my hair, my husband's, and our three daughters' hair. Its takes ALL DAY! Lol. Luckily for me my husband like to just wear his man bun most of the time. My oldest can twist her own hair and the younger two, I try to do styles that will last a week or two, typically braids. But sis....literally all day I would be doing hair lol.

Same girl, the multi-texture struggle is real. Wash n gos are a no go for me, as are twist outs. I live in braid-outs and roller sets, the only way I can get it to behave.

Honestly finding your channel years ago was the best thing for my natural hair😭. Most of the products you use work for my hair and incorporating the conditioner method before washing really helped my type 4 hair.

I've used ur wash routine on my daughters type 4 hair it helped a lot. I'm a Hispanic woman and my hair type is 3 so my wash day isn't so planned watching youtubers like u has helped me understand my daughters hair more and more and shes coming into the age of learning to do her hair on her own so I want her to be educated about it and to love and appreciate it for how unique and beautiful it is. Her hair is currently to her bra strap which is amazing for girls her age and considered long for the girls in our area shes 11 and wants hair to her waist so that is our goal. I am going to recommend she watches u so she can feel the confidence u have in ur hair and she can see how beautiful type 4 is. Also sometimes it take me 2 days to do her hair 6 hrs on 1 day and 6 on the other 🤦♀️so yes type 4 her takes time but it's worth it.
Your daughter will thank you soooo much when she’s older :) I wish my mom did the same for me but she didn’t know any better.

My hair takes forever to dry with a twist out too. After I'm done styling, I squeeze the twists with paper towels to soak up the extra water and my hair dries sooo much faster!
Yes I used the texture id following your tutorial and I was like fun but when I got tired of it I was like jeez this thing is knotty. Luckily with water and doing the hold the knot and pull thing isi taught me I avoided many hairs being snatched
Love this. The hair community really got black girls out here thinking they HAVE to wash their hair every two weeks. Like boo boo, do I look Caucasian or rich? The amount of products it takes to do my hair and then style it. I'd rather throw it up in braids, cornrow it or the singles on my natural hair and spend a month keeping it moisturized and well oiled rather than washing my hair EVERY OTHER WEEK. OUT YUH MIND.
